Nellie Mae Osborn
Nellie Mae Osborn, 86, of Chillicothe, Mo., formerly of Trenton, Mo., died Monday, Aug. 23, 2010 at the Baptist Home in Chillicothe, Mo.
She was born April 5, 1924 in Harrison County, Mo., the daughter of Charley Henry and Edith (Wilson) Coates. On June 1, 1941, she married Rev. Jean Osborn. He survives at the home.
Nellie was the church secretary at the First Baptist Church of Fayette, Mo., for several years and retired as the secretary of the North Grand River Baptist Association. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Trenton, Mo.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by a daughter, Marilyn Morrow and husband Gary, Marshall, Mo.; brother, Lewis Coates, Bethany, Mo.; four grandchildren, Allen Osborn and wife Lori, Redlands, Calif., Andrew Osborn, Ft. Worth, Texas, Angie King and husband Brett, St. Joseph, Mo., and Robin Ellifritt and husband C.J., Boonville, Mo.; three great-grandchildren, Brittany King, Alexander King and Austin Ellifritt.
Nellie was preceded in death by her parents; one son, James Osborn and daughter-in-law, Roberta Ann Osborn.
Funeral services will be 1:30 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 25, 2010 at the First Baptist Church, Trenton, Mo. Burial will be in Miriam cemetery, Bethany, Mo. The family will receive friends from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. Wednesday at the church. Friends may call between 1 and 5 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 24, 2010 at Roberson Funeral Home, Bethany, Mo.
Memorial contributions may be made to the First Baptist Church of Trenton, Baptist Home of Chillicothe and\or Hedrick Medical Center Hospice. Online condolences may be left at www.robersonfuneralhome.com.
Arrangements are under the direction of Roberson Funeral Home, Bethany, Mo.

Anita Gay Russell
Anita Gay Russell, 65, of Kingston, Mo., died Sunday, Aug. 22, 2010 at Hillcrest Manor, Hamilton, Mo., under the care of her family and Hospice Advantage of Gallatin, Mo.

Garroll Veach
Garroll Veach, 86, of Tina, Mo., died Thursday, Aug. 19, 2010 at his home.
Garroll was born Aug., 8, 1924 in Wakenda, Mo., to Parley and Clara (Kinker) Veach. On May 7, 1948 Garroll married Margaret (Kelly) Veach in Carrollton, Mo.
Garroll was a graduate of Bogard High School, Bogard, Mo. After graduation, he farmed and then enlisted in the Merchant Marines. Following that, he became a deliveryman for Sinclair Atlantic Richfield where he worked for 37 years. He enjoyed ultra light airplanes, motorcycles, farming and fishing. Garroll was the former mayor of Tina, Mo., a member of the First Christian Church and Wakenda Lodge #52 AF and AM of Carrollton, Mo.
Garroll is survived by his wife, Margaret, of the home; three children, Danuta Condron and husband Ronald Dean, Chillicothe, Mo., Gary Wayne and wife Susan, Chillicothe, Mo., Marta Ann Quinn and husband George, Chillicothe, Mo.; two brothers, P.D. ( Jim) Veach, Carrollton, Mo., Robert Veach, Independence, Mo.; 11 grandchildren, Christopher Condron and wife Chrystal, Lacey Waters, Aaron Condron and wife Julie, Molly Reyburn and husband Kurt, Joshua Veach, George Quinn IV, Abigail Boies and husband Adam, Dustin Quinn, T. Sgt. Cody Quinn USAF and wife Kami, Amanda Quinn; 11 great-grandchildren, Brooke Condron, Dalton Condron, Seth Condron, Ean Condron, Taytum Condron, Cody Hill, Autumn Hill, Allison Quinn, Matney Waters, Mylee Waters and Ellie Condron.
Garroll was preceded in death by one grandson, Josh Quinn and one daughter-in- law, Debbie Veach.
Visitation was held just prior to the services on Monday, Aug. 23, 2010 from 1:30 until 2:45 at which time Masonic services were conducted. Burial was in the Oak Hill cemetery, Carrollton, Mo., with military services provided by the Pence-Lovell-England Post #1773, Veterans of Foreign Wars, Carrollton, Mo.
The family suggest contributions be made to Children’s Mercy Hospital or the American Diabetes Association in memory of Garroll. They may be left at or mailed to Bittiker Funeral Home, 1201 N. 65 Hwy., Carrollton, MO 64633.
Arrangements were under the direction of Bittiker Funeral Home, Carrollton, Mo.

Arthur Junior Barker
Arthur Junior Barker, 90, of Chillicothe, MO., died Thursday, Aug. 19, 2010 at Hedrick Medical Center, Chillicothe, Mo.
Arthur was born Aug. 27, 1919 in Livingston County, Mo., the son of Arthur and Maude (Corbin) Barker. Arthur was married to Veva Lee Rose in June of 1941. She preceded him in death in 2000. He married Virginia Lang on Sept. 12, 2008 in Chillicothe, Mo. She survives at the home.
He graduated from Norborne High School.
Arthur was a farmer in the Mandeville area. He was a member of the Mandeville United Methodist Church, and a member of the Wakanda Lodge # 52 AF and AM. He enjoyed hunting and fishing. He used his skill as a carpenter woodworking and restoring antiques.
In addition to his wife, Virginia, Arthur is also survived by nieces and nephews, Ron (Okie) Rose, Trenton, Mo., Pat (Ed) Bradshaw, Macon, Mo., Stewart (Judy) Rose, Bogard, Mo., Martha Kay (Norman) Burns, Braymer, Mo., Bob (Beverly) Rose, Carrollton, Mo., Jana (Glen) Burdge, Shippensburg, Penn., Linda (Ben) Fowler, Nashville, Tenn.; one brother-in-law, Dr. Melvin Faw; Nancy (Neal) Lecklider, Gary (Lisa) Faw, and David (Louisa) Faw, all of Evansville, Ind.; one step-son, Tim (Mary) Lang, Omaha, Neb.
His parents also preceded him in death.
Visitation will begin at 10:00 a.m. with funeral services following at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, Aug. 21, 2010 at Gibson Funeral Home, Carrollton, Mo., with Pastor Bill Reese officiating. Burial will be in Ebenezer cemetery, Bogard, Mo.
The family suggests contributions be made to the Mandeville Methodist Church or the Livingston County Multi-purpose Center in memory of Arthur. They may be left at or mailed to Gibson Funeral Home, 201 S. Main, Carrollton MO 64633.

Pearl L. Alcox
Pearl L. Alcox, 77, formerly of Lathrop, Mo., and a longtime resident of Long Blum Care Center and most recently Livingston Care Center in Chillicothe, Mo., died Friday, Aug., 20, 2010.
Visitation begins at 10 a.m. Monday, Aug. 23, 2010 at the Park Lawn Lathrop Chapel, 901 Clinton St., Lathrop, Mo., followed by graveside services in the Lathrop cemetery at 11 a.m.
Arrangements are under the direction of Park Lawn Lathrop Chapel, Lathrop, Mo.

Billie Louise Lucas
Billie Louise Lucas, 80, of Yorkville passed away on Tuesday, August 17, 2010 surrounded by her loving family. She was born July 27, 1930 in Chillicothe, Missouri the daughter of Betty and the late Arthur Jones.
Billie loved her church. She was a faithful member of the United Methodist Church in Chillicothe, Missouri. She loved reading, gardening and nature, but what Billie dearly loved the most was her family. She was also a great listener.
Survivors include her two sons, Steve (Adriena) Cherry of Yorkville and Marty Cherry of Big Rock; her granddaughter, Nicole (Brian) Jager of Elburn; her mother, Betty Jones of Waterloo, Iowa; her sister, Barbara Fettkether of Waterloo, Iowa as well as many beloved nieces, nephews and cousins.
In addition to her father, Billie was preceded in death by her first husband, Gerald Cherry and her second husband, Eli Lucas.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday, August 21, 2010 at The Healy Chapel, 370 Division Dr. Sugar Grove with Rev. Timothy Baltz officiating. Interment will be at Lincoln Memorial Park. Visitation will take place from 11 a.m. until 2 p.m. on Saturday at the funeral home.
Memorial donations may be directed to First Baptist Church, 15 Oak Av. Aurora, IL. 60506.
Billie’s family would like to express a heartfelt thank you to Heritage Woods of Yorkville, The Tillers, Seasons Hospice, the staff at Yorkville Dialysis Center as well as to the kind Veteran’s Assistance driver, Dave Hernandez, who drove her to her dialysis appointments.

Johnnie E. Hall
Johnnie E. Hall, 74, a resident of rural Tennessee, Ill., formerly of the Bogard, Mo., area, died Friday, March 12, 2010 in Tennessee.
Johnnie was born Oct. 22, 1935, the son of Ray and Julia Key Hall. In 1953 he married Shirley Suddith. She preceded him in death in 1973. He then married Nancy B. Rayburn. She preceded him in death in 2003.
He is survived by three sons, Duane Hall, Gary Hall and Andrew Hall; four daughters, Sherry Satinas, Teresa Carey, Janet Lung, and Michelle Allaman; three step-daughters, Peggy Labato, Kathryn Thompson and Susie Ward; 21 grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; two brothers, Donnie Hall and Dale Hall; four sisters, Evelyn Dawson, Janie Daryl Lancaster, Frances and Bill Mayfield, and Mary and Bob Kline.
He was preceded in death by his wives, his parents and a sister, Alice.
Graveside services will be held Saturday, Aug. 21, 2010 at 10 a.m. at the Blue Mound cemetery, Blue Mound, Mo.
Arrangements are under the direction of Lindley Funeral Home, Chillicothe, Mo.

Hunter Ronald Blakely, 67, of Chillicothe, Mo., went home to be with his Savior on Sunday, Oct. 3, 2010 at his home under the care of his family and Hedrick Hospice.
Ronald was born Oct. 31, 1942 in Vinesburg, California, the son of Marvin Blakely and Edith Ione McCracken Blakely VanDusen.

Louis Hayden Hauge, 12, died unexpectedly on Sunday, Nov. 21, 2010 at his home near Circle Lake in rural Faribault.
He was born July 28, 1998, in Northfield, Minn., to Brent and Twila (Wilson) Hauge. He was born with cerebral palsey and was currently a sixth grader in the Northifeld School District.
He is survived by his parents; two sisters, Savanna and Oliva; his grandfather, Buford Wilson, Trenton, Mo.; his grandparents, Curtis and Judy Hauge, Harrison, Ark.; and other relatives and friends.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 27, 2010, at the Kingdom Hall of the Johovah Witnesses, Highway 19 West, Northfield.
Arrangements are with the Benson and Langehough Funeral Home.
