Funeral services for Emogene L. Rahe, 80, of St. Charles, were held at 10 a.m. on Monday, May 19, 2008, at the Baue Funeral and Memorial Center in St. Charles Interment followed in the St. Charles Memorial Gardens in St. Charles.
Mrs. Rahe, died Wednesday, May 14, 2008, at Mt. Carmel Senior Living in St. Charles.
Born May 20, 1927, in Fredericktown, she was the daughter of Dempse Lee and Lora Ella Elizabeth Cornman.
Preceding her in death were her parents; and her husband, Kenneth Rahe.
Survivors include five sons, Skip (Phyllis) Rahe, of O'Fallon, Michael (Shirley) Rahe, of O'Fallon, Robert (Dawn) Rahe, of Janesville, WI, Don (Gidget) Rahe, of Troy, Timothy (Debbie) Rahe, of St. Charles; 11 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren; two brothers, Donald (Judy) Kuykendall, of Bridgeton, Leo Hale, of Florida; three sisters, Juanita Ivy, of Mountain Home, Ark., Maxine Franklin, of Bellflower and Leona, of Chicago, Ill.; and other relatives. Rahe was a homemaker. She was a member of the Loyal Order of the Moose and American Legion Post NO. 312.
Visitation was held from 4-8 p.m. on Sunday, May 18, 2008, at the chapel. Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society.

Ruth Rector, 86, of Troy, passed away peacefully on December 14, 2010 at the Lincoln County Nursing and Rehab in Troy.
The daughter of Wetzel and Hazel (Barrett) Elkins, she was born December 16, 1923 in Hamlin, W. V.
On October 24, 1975 in St. Louis, Missouri she married Harold Rector. Harold preceded her in death on March 21, 2009.
Ruth is survived by one daughter: Darlene Dean Gryder of St. Charles; one son, Cecil B. Dean and wife Judy of Perry; five grandchildren, James Edward Dean and wife Kristy of Wildwood, Robert Allen Dean and wife Tracy, Maria Dean Zulch and husband Kirk, Christine Dean all of Dallas, Texas, Casey Scott Gryder of St. Louis; nine great-grandchildren, Madeline and Savannah Dean, Secelia, Lindsey and John Zulch, Taylor and Jordan Dean and Hannah and McKenzie Escobar.
Ruth grew up and graduated from high school in West Virginia. In 1963 she moved to Louisville, Ken. while working for the Veteran's Administration. After she and Harold were married, they lived in several different places before making their home in Troy. She enjoyed crocheting, cooking and being with her family.
There will be no public service, but the family has asked that memorial contributions be made to the Alzheimer's Association in care of Ingersoll Chapel for Funeral and Cremation Services, 211 Boone Street, Troy.

Allen R. Hughes, 101, passed away on Monday, Dec. 6, 2010 in Guthrie, Okla.
The husband of Sue Harness Hughes and friend to her daughters, Jamie and Joyce, and husband of the late Florence Hughes; father of Richard (Sandy) Hughes; grandfather of Kate (Steve) LaTerra and Kristina (Steven) Moustakas; great-grandfather of Lauren and Olivia LaTerra and Lea Moustakas; brother of Paul (Donna) Hughes and Eugenia Belton; and uncle, great-uncle, cousin and friend to many.
A Masonic funeral was performed on Friday, Dec. 10, 2010 at Alexander Funeral Home in St. Ann and interment was at Mt. Lebanon Cemetery.
Al was a committed Mason and active in the Nineveh Lodge in Olney before moving to live with his son in Oklahoma. He loved raising Shelties, beekeeping, gardening, painting and doing almost any task.
Sitting under a tree was not for him. In his earlier days he was an avid bird hunter and always had a trained bird dog. He was noted for his sense of humor, honesty, high work ethic, and willingness to help others. He was blessed with excellent health until his final days. He was ready for his next and eternal life.

Robert L. "Bob" Rinke passed away on Sunday, Dec. 12, 2010 at the Bethesda-Dilworth Home, Kirkwood.
He was born on Aug. 30, 1922 in Alex, Ark., a son of Joseph and Leona (Elser) Rinke.
Following his education, he served in the U.S. Army from 1941 to 1944. On April 23, 1949, he was united in marriage with Earleign Jones. They enjoyed 53 years of marriage before her passing in 2003. Bob loved sales and spent much of his working career with AMP Industries. Surviving are two sisters: Loraine Stamelos and husband, John, and Loretta Gutting; one brother, Joseph (Rose)Rinke and wife, Rose ; dear godfather of John Stamelos Jr., Deborah Garavaglia and husband, James, and Matthew McGowan; our dear uncle, great-uncle, great-great uncle, cousin and friend.
Funeral services were held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, Dec. 14, 2010 at the McCoy-Blossom Funeral Home, Troy. Officiating was Father Thomas Wissler. Interment followed in the Troy City Cemetery, Troy with full military honors.
In lieu of flowers, donate in Bob's name to the charity of your choice. Visitation was held Tuesday, Dec. 14, 2010, from 10 to 11 a.m. at McCoy-Blossom Funeral Home, 1304 Boone Street, Troy.

Mrs. Ilene Robertson, 67 of Troy, passed away on Friday, December, 9, 2010, at her residence surrounded by her loving family.
She was born January 1, 1943, in Kinder, to James G. and Ettabell (Massey) Daniels. Ilene was born into a big family with six brothers, and six sisters. After attending the local schools she later married the love of her life, John E. Robertson. The two were married December 23, 1960, in Puxico. Together they raised their three children, one son, James and two daughters Carol and Teresa.
Ilene stayed home to care for her children while they were young and delighted in her duties as a wife and doting mother. Later she worked outside the home at U.S. Display in Hawk Point, Harper & Row, and as a cook at the public school. Throughout it all, she always worked as a caregiver for children at her home. Ilene cared for several children with special needs and had a developed a loving bond with them.
Surviving is her beloved husband of almost 50 years, John Robertson, of Troy; one son, James and his wife Janet Robertson, of Moscow Mills; one daughter, Carol Wantuck, of Troy, and nine grandchildren: Brandyn Wantuck, Corey Wantuck, Tia Scott, Vanessa Horne, Valene Hanebrink, Jeremy Hanebrink, James Robertson Jr., Rachel Robertson and Jonathan Robertson; one brother, Lonnie "Bub" and his wife Gladys Daniels, of Troy; four sisters: Betty and husband Noah McLeary of Moscow Mills, Bonnie Green, of Puxico, Vera and husband Mel Alberternst of Moscow Mills, and Hazel and husband Dee Christensen of Sunset, Utah, as well as many other relatives and friends.
Visitation was held on Sunday, Dec. 12, from 4-8 at the McCoy-Blossom Funeral Home & Cremation Center, in Troy. A funeral service was held on Monday, Dec. 13, 2010 at 10 a.m. at the McCoy-Blossom Funeral Home & Cremation Center, 1304 Boone Street, Troy. Rev. Wes Denham officiated. Interment followed in Troy City Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be made to the donor's choice c/o McCoy-Blossom Funeral Home & Cremation Center, Troy, MO.

Ms. Autumn Hepburn, 21, passed away on Monday, Dec.6, 2010.
Autumn Marie Hepburn was born on March 26, 1989, the first child and only daughter of Bob and Terri Hepburn, of Moscow Mills.
Autumn was truly a gift from God. She was strong from the time she was born and showed much strength throughout her short life. Autumn taught many people how to be a survivor and to persevere through the hardest of times. Her family draws on these lessons taught by Autumn now. She attended Sacred Heart Catholic School when she was young and went on to graduate in May, 2007 from St. Dominic High School.
Autumn spent her time as a young child with her constant companion and younger brother, Dustin. They enjoyed playing at the creek and outside. Autumn took an interest in entomology from an early age and was well versed and could answer questions about any insect when she was young. She often surprised people with her knowledge. As she got older, she became more and more proficient in art and majored in it in college. She was attending Webster University in St. Louis and wanted to teach art after graduation. Autumn took pride in being unique and had her own style and views which showed in her art. She had a very creative and intelligent mind that was admired by her teachers and peers.
Autumn will be forever missed by her family; her parents, Bob and Terri Hepburn; brothers, Dustin, Jonathan and Joseph. She is further survived by her grandparents; John and Margaret Scott and Bill and Susan Hepburn; great-grandmothers, Mildred Scott, and Helen Bohringer; Aunt Tracey and Uncle Brett Creech; cousins, Shaun, Shannon and special cousin, Alexandra Creech. Aunt Donna and Uncle Eugene Hrdina, cousins, Chase, Kate, Danielle and Ashley Hrdina. Uncle Scott and Aunt Michelle Hepburn and cousin Gavin. She is also going to be missed by many other aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
The funeral mass was held at 1 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 11, 2010 from Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Troy. Officiating was Father Thomas Wissler. Interment followed in the Eternal Peace Cemetery, Wentzville. Visitation was held from noon until 8 p.m. on Thursday, Dec.9, 2010, at the McCoy-Blossom Funeral Home & Cremation Center, 1304 Boone St., Troy.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Ronald McDonald House, c/o the funeral home.

John "Jack" Philip Mudd, 78, of Silex, passed away December 5, at the Silex Community Care Center.
Jack was born October 17, 1932, in Silex to James Otis and Sallie Clare Mudd.
He is survived by his wife and best friend Carol Fennewald Mudd. H, e was previously married to the late Lynette Cobb Witte, the mother of his two surviving sons J. Eric and Darren Leo Mudd. He is also survived by step-daughter Caryn DeFrancesco; daughter-in-law Katie Mudd; grandchildren, nephews, niece, in-laws and many friends.
He was a veteran of the US Army and was a mechanic at the Proctor and Gamble Company for 38 years.
He was very proud of his induction to the St. Charles County Amateur Sports Hall of Fame.
There will be no visitation. The body has been donated to the St. Louis University School of Medicine as per his wishes. The family deeply appreciates the loving support and care given by the Silex Community Care and by the Community Loving Care Hospice LLC.
Memorial contributions to the St. Louis chapter of the Alzheimer's Association in memory of John P. Mudd, (9370 Olive Blvd, St. Louis, MO. 63132) are appreciated.

Robert "Bob" William. Witt, 56, of Troy, passed away on Saturday, Dec. 4, 2010.
He was born on Oct. 28, 1954 in Minneapolis, Minn. to Allen and Adelia (Olson) Witt. Bob was blessed to grow up with six siblings: David, Richard, Patricia, Kathy, Susan and Debbie.
After his graduation from the University of Minnesota in 1979, he began working for the McDonnell-Douglas Corp. in St. Louis, as an electrical engineer. Bob retired after 30 years at McDonnell-Douglas.
Some of his hobbies included working with computers, boating and fishing. His family was very important to him.
Surviving are his loving mother, Adelia Witt, of Tacoma, Wash. ; his brothers: David Witt and wife, Rhonda, of Palmer, Alaska, Richard Witt of Cotton, Minn.; his four sisters: Patricia Witt, of Tacoma, Wash., Kathy Witt, of Tacoma, Wash., Susan Witt of Tacoma, Wash. and Debbie and husband Kurt Schoville of Renton, Wash. and six nieces and nephews; other relatives and friends.
Funeral service will be held on Saturday, Dec. 11, 2010, at 1 p.m. from the McCoy-Blossom Funeral Home & Cremation Center, 1304 Boone St., Troy. Officiating will be Rev. Richard Rhea. Visitation will be held the same day, Saturday from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. at the funeral home.
Memorials may be made to the American Diabetes Assoc. or to donor's choice, c/o the funeral home.
