Brian Chanse Long, 22, of Sardis, died Sunday, Sept. 26, 2004, from injuries received in an auto accident.

Long, born icon Aug. 2, 1982, to Ottis Dale Jr. and Debbie Long, was a member of West Marks Baptist Church and a riverboat worker.

Services are today at 2 p.m. at West Marks Baptist Church. Burial is in Marks cemetery. Rev. Mike Smithey and Rev. Tim Mims will officiate. Kimbro Funeral Home has charge.

Survivors include his son Nolan Chanse Long; his parents Ottis Dale Jr. and Debbie Long of Marks; two brothers, Ashley Long of Sardis and Kyle Long of Marks and his grandparents, Ottis "Ruddy" and Estella Long of Marks and Charles and Lois Veazey of Marks.

Lovdahl, Ted
Senatobia, Miss. - Ted Lovdahl, 66, of Senatobia, died Sunday, June 27, 2004, at his residence in Senatobia of cancer.

Services were Wedensday at First United Methodist Church. Burial was in Warren Co. Memorial Park cemetery in Monmouth, Ill. Pate-Jones Funeral Home of Senatobia had charge.

Lovdahl was a data processing manager and served in the U.S. Airforce. He was also a member of the Senatobia United Methodist Church.

Survivors include his wife Bonnie Horn Lovdahl of Senatobia; three daughters, Karen Channault of Belvedere, Ill., Krystal Gaham of Sharon, Wis. and Rachael Clem of Truman, Ark.; two sons, Gene Lovdahl of Garden Prarie, Ill. and Thomas Lovdahl of Gatesburg, Ill.; four sisters, Bessie Snyder of New Brunsfield, Texas, Blanche Icenogle and Libby Bethell, both of Monmouth, Ill. and Becky Hartman of Russell, Kansas; Creighton Lovdahl, Cecil Lovdahl and Jim Lovdahl, all of Monmouth, Ill. and Martin Lovdahl of Oquawka, Ill.; 19 grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by one son Timothy Lovdahl and one brother John Lovdahl.

All memorials may be made to Senatobia First United Methodist Church or American Cancer Society.

Love, Trena D.
Sardis, Miss. - Trena D. Love, 42, of Sardis, died Sunday, August 29, 2004, at Baptist East Hospital in Memphis, Tenn
.
Love was a member of Ebenezer M.B. Church.

Services were Saturday at Ebenezer M.B. Church in Como. Burial was at Ebenezer Church cemetery. Felix Cauthen Funeral Home had charge.

Survivors include her parents, Robert Patton and Ora Lee Love; one daughter Katonya Love of Sardis; seven sisters, Howard Moore and Juanwanda Love, both of Sardis, Janice Love of Senatobia, Deborah Love and Annie Love, both of Memphis, Tenn., Betty Owens of California and Robin Lipscomb of Chicago, Ill.; four brothers, Kenneth Love and Monico Love, both of Memphis, Tenn., Marcur Love of Austin, Texas and Melvin Patton of Chicago, Ill. and five grandchildren.

Lucas, Sandra Jean
Sandra Jean Lucas, 60, of Warren died Thursday, March 4, 2004, at her residence.

Memorial services were Saturday at Frazer's Chapel in Warren, Ark. Frazer Funeral Home of Warren, Ark. had charge.

Lucas, born icon April 19, 1943, was a Catholic and a homemaker.

Survivors include one son John O. Edward of Altoona, Iowa; one daughter Danielle Dyer of Warren, Ark.; two step daughters, Shelia Montminy of Waynesboro, Tenn. and Jessica Anne Herring of Paris, Tenn. and nine grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by two sons, Tommy Bennett and Bobby Bennett and her husband Larry Noel Lucas.

Lyles, Timothy Lavell "Boss Dog"
Sledge, MS - Timothy Lyles, 40, of Sledge, died Sunday, May 30, 2004, of injuries sustained in a motorcycle accident.

Services are Saturday at 11 a.m. at Mt. Pleasant M.B. Church in Enid. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Rev. Micheal Ferrel will officiate. Cooley's Mortuary Inc. has charge.

Lyles, born icon May 26, 1964, to Tommy Lyles Jr. and Flora Lyles, was a maintenance worker for ACI.

Survivors include his parents Tommy and Flora Lyles of Memphis; his companion Jackiella Jordon of Sledge; one son Jaheim Lyles of Falcoln; two step-sons, Bobby Miles of Ohio and Corey McMurray of Texarkana, Ark.; three step-daughters, Beverly Miles, Cynthia Miles and Linda Miles, all of Batesville; four brothers, Tommy Lewis Lyles and Terry James Lyles, both of Memphis, Marcus Lyles of Aurora, Ill. and Quartico Reed of Memphis; five sisters, Shirely Franklin, Gwendylon Simmons, Alisa Smith, Tamika Reed and Brittany Reed, all of Memphis.

Maciejewski, Ruth Christine
North Brook, Ill. - Ruth Christine Maciejewski, 82, of North Brook, Ill., died Sunday, June 27, 2004, at Rose Wood Nursing Home in North Brook, Ill.

Services were Thursday at Dickins Funeral Home Chapel in Batesville. Burial was in Batesville-Magnolia cemetery in Batesville. Rev. Charles Locke officiated. Dickins Funeral Home had charge.

Maciejewski, born icon July 27, 1921, to the late Alexander Facto and the late Minnie Lee Jackson Facto, was a retail manager.

She was the widow of Richard Maciejewski.

Survivors include Lynda Hall of Ogden, Utah and Diana Sorrentino of Highland Park, Ill; and two grandchildren.

All memorials may be made to Batesville Public Library, 206 Hwy 51 North, Batesville, MS 38606.

Macon, Jesse Williams
Jesse Williams Macon, 1, of Calhoun City, died Thursday, Feb. 19, 2004, at his residence.

Services were Saturday, Feb. 21, 2004, at Bethany Baptist Church in Webster County. Burial was in Old Bethany cemetery. Rev. Raymond Grabbert officiated. Pryor Funeral Home in Calhoun City had charge.

Survivors include his parents, Thomas Leon Macon Jr. and Julia Williams Macon of Calhoun City; two brothers, Jake Garrett Macon and Thomas L. "Tripp" Macon III, both of Calhoun City; and grandparents, Martha Sue and Lynn Rogers of Calhoun City and T.J. and Carol Williams of Drew.

Maddux, Billie Faye Wicker
Hernando, Miss. - Billie Faye Wicker Maddux, 62, of Hernando, died Saturday, August 28, 2004, at Baptist Hospital-Desoto in Southaven.

Maddux was a member of the First Baptist Church in Coldwater and a retired school administrator for Desoto County Schools.

Services are tomorrow at 2 p.m. at the First Baptist Church in Coldwater. Burial and graveside services will be tomorrow at 4 p.m. in Magnolia cemetery. Pate-Jones Funeral Home has charge.

Survivors include her husband Rev. Bob Maddux of Hernando; two daughters, Rachele McGee of Hernando and Dr. Regina Maddux of Hernando; one son Dr. Robert Maddux of Hernando; one brother Van Ford Wicker of Olive Branch and four grandchildren.

Memorials may be sent to the First Baptist Church Coldwater Foreign Mission Fund.

Magee, Danny Carroll
Danny Carroll Magee, 56, of Batesville, died Thursday, September 9, 2004, at Sugarland Methodist Hospital in Sugarland, Texas.

Magee, born icon August 21, 1948, to the late John Hubert Magee and the late Minnie Ola Goodwin Magee, was a farmer, a member of the First United Methodist Church, a member of Ducks Unlimited, Mississippi Farm Bureau and the Veterans of Foreign Wars.

Services were Monday at First United Methodist Church. Burial was at Batesville Magnolia cemetery. Rev. Russell Fletcher and Rev. Ed Woodall officiated. Dickins Funeral Home had charge.

Survivors include his wife Donna Seay Magee of Batesville; one daughter Drew Major Magee of Batesville; three brothers, William L. Magee of Ulvalde, Texas, James E. Magee of Shreveport, La. and Hubert Houston Magee of Memphis and one sister Peggy Magee Selby of Memphis.

He was preceded in death by his brother Richard Earl Magee.

Memorials may be made to First United Methodist Church, 119 Panola Ave., Batesville.

Mangrum, Forrest Wayne
Carthage, MS - Forrest Wayne Mangrum, 18, died Sunday, May 23, 2004, from injuries received in an auto accident.

Services were Tuesday at Freetrade Church of God. Burial was in Standing Pine cemetery. Wilcox Funeral Home of Carthage was in charge of arrangements.

Mangrum was a graduating senior at Sebastopol High School.

Survivors include his parents Bobby Reid "Bobcat" and Shirley Jo Freeny; step-father Billy Glenn Freeny; one sister Natalie Nicole Mangrum; and grandmothers, Wilma Jean Freeny and Laura Sue Giaise, all of Carthage.

He was preceded in death by grandparents Robbie Tuttle Mangrum and Wayne Perkins Mangrum of Batesville.

Mansell, Johnnie Mae Cox
Crenshaw, Miss. - Johnnie Mae Cox Mansell, 62, of Crenshaw, died Tuesday, July 27, 2004, from an auto accident.

Services are were Saturday at Holly Grove M.B. Church in Crenshaw. Burial was in Morris Chapel cemetery in Sardis. Rev. Jessie Joshsell officiated. Cooley's Mortuary had charge.

Mansell, born icon Nov. 1, 1941, to the late Thomas A. and Leora Harris Cox, was a graduate of Mississippi Valley State University and Walton Chapel High School. She was a former Key Punch Operator in Maywood, Ill. and a member of Holly Grove M.B. Church.

Survivors include two brothers, James Cox of Crenshaw and Dempsey A. Cox of Sardis.
