Crenshaw, MS - Ann Buford McClellan, 93, of Crenshaw, died Tuesday, April 27, 2004, at her residence of heart failure.

Services were Friday at Crenshaw Baptist Church. Burial was in Drew cemetery. Rev. Trent Grubbs and Rev. Clint Harris officiated. Kimbro Funeral Home had charge.

McClellan, born icon Jan. 30, 1911, was a member of Crenshaw Baptist Church and a homemaker.

Survivors include one son Lloyd McClellan of Crenshaw; two grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband Luther L. McClellan. All memorials may be made to Crenshaw Baptist Church.

McCoy, Georgia Crowder
Georgia Crowder McCoy, 46, of Batesville, died Monday, April 5, 2004, at her residence.

Services are Saturday at 11 a.m. at Eureka A.M.E. Zion Church in Batesville. Burial will be in Rosedale cemetery in Los Angeles, Calif. Rev. Larry Key will officiate. Cooley's Mortuary, Inc. has charge.

McCoy, born icon May 8, 1957, to George Crowder and Dartha R. Carr of Batesville, was an accountant for F.L.P. Inc. in Beverly Hills, Calif. and a member of West Angeles C.O.G.I.C. Church in Los Angelos, Calif.

In addition to her parents, survivors include her husband Anthony McCoy of Batesville; two sons, Terrell Smith of Jackson and Towand Crowder of Palm Springs, Calif.; one daughter Melinda McCoy of Los Angelos, Calif.; 10 sisters, Linda Carr, Frances Carr, Effie Wright, April Wright, Nancy Wright, Angela Wright and Erma Wright, all of Batesville, Mary Ann Carr of Olson, N.Y. and Sarah Taylor Crawford of Norfolk, Va.; and 10 brothers, Mack Carr, Melvin Carr, Willie Carr, Richard Carr, Robert Earl Crowder, Larry Wright, Richard Wright and Michael Wright, all of Batesville, George Crowder Jr. of Poughkeepsie, N.Y. and George Crowder Jr. of Crowder.

McGhee, Tyre
Tyre McGhee, 70, of Memphis, died Monday, June 28, 2004, at Methodist University Hospital.

Services were Saturday at New Mt. Olivet M.B. Church in Memphis. Burial was in Antioch #1 in Senatobia. Felix Cauthen Funeral Home had charge.

McGhee was a self employed retired business man. He served as deacon, as male chorus coordinator and on the usher board.

Survivors include his wife Minnie Pearl Herron McGhee of Memphis; one daughter Ruby "Rita" Turner of Memphis; three sons, James Monrow McGhee of Atlanta, Ga., John McGhee of Memphis and Elton Wooten of Cincinnati, Ohio; one sister Elizabeth McGhee King of Coldwater; one brother Arther McGhee of Senatobia; six grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

McGehee, James Earl
James Earl McGehee, 46, of Sardis, died Friday, March 19, 2004, at his residence.

Services were Thursday at Wells Funeral Home in Batesville. Burial was in Forrest Memorial Park in Batesville. Wells Funeral Home had charge.

McGehee, born icon Feb. 17, 1958, to the late Joe S. and Evelyn Roberson McGehee Sr., was a supervisor of ACI Building Systems, Inc. of Batesville.

Survivors include his wife Buffy Bolton McGehee of Sardis; three daughters, Jennifer Dawn McGehee of Olive Branch, Jamie Marie McGehee of Southaven and Darian Faith McGehee of Batesville; two sons, Joshua James McGehee and Justin Earl McGehee, both of Southaven; one step-daughter Rivers Madison Brown of Batesville; his mother Evelyn Roberson McGehee of Batesville; one sister Michelle McGehee Green of Batesville; and two brothers, Joe McGehee and Jake McGehee, both of Batesville.

McGehee, Keith Leonard
McGehee, Scott Bonham
Independence, MS - Keith Leonard and Scott Bonham McGehee, (twins) of Independence, were still born icon on Thursday, April 29, 2004, at St. Francis Hospital in Memphis.

Graveside services were Monday at Hebron cemetery in Sardis. Rev. Kirk Germany officiated. Wells Funeral Home had charge.

Survivors include their parents, Michael Eugene and Jessica Boyd McGehee of Independence; grandparents, Larry and Myra McGehee of Independence; great-grandparents, Clyde and Jewel McGehee of Sardis and Paul and Kathryn Griggs of Cordova, Tenn.

They were preceded in death by great-grandparents Mr. and Mrs. L.G. Baronowski.

McGehee, Marion " Mary" Pemberton
Mary Pemberton McGehee, 78, of Batesville, died Saturday, June 12, 2004, at Baptist Memorial Hospital in Oxford of heart failure.

Services were Monday at Campground Baptist Church in Water Valley. Burial was in Pilgrims Rest cemetery in Courtland. Rev. Ross Robertson, Dr. Randy Bain and Rev. Wes Sherman officiated. Wells Funeral Home had charge.

McGehee, born icon Oct. 11, 1925, to Thomas and Ann Taylor Pemberton, was a retired factory worker from Panola Mills.

Survivors include one daughter, Hazel Ann McGehee McCain; three sons, Floyd McGehee of Water Valley, Charles James McGehee of Switzerland, Fla. and Paul Terrell McGehee of Senatobia; one sister Mary Pemberton Risley of Warrington, England; 11 grandchildren; and 16 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband Emmitt Floyd McGehee.

McIntyre, C.G.
C.G. McIntyre, 79, of Memphis, died Friday, April 2, 2004, at his residence.

Services were Saturday at Featherstone Chapel Church in Senatobia. Burial was in Featherstone Church cemetery. Felix Cauthen Funeral Home had charge.

McIntyre was a mechanic and a member of Featherstone Chapel Church.

Survivors include two daughters, Marie McIntyre of Memphis and Mildred Jackson of Chicago, Ill.; three sons, James McIntyre of Chicago, Ill., Roger Eason of Crystal Lake, Ill. and Charles McIntyre of Memphis; one sister Mattie Lean Johnson of Tunica; 15 grandchildren; and 25 great-grandchildren.

McMinn, Pearl Logan
Pearl Logan McMinn, 82, of Lambert, died Sunday, Feb. 1, 2003, at Quitman Co. Hospital in Marks.

Graveside services were Tuesday, Feb. 3, 2004, at Lambert cemetery in Lambert. Rev. Tim Mims officiated. Kimbro Funeral Home had charge.

McMinn, born icon on April 24, 1921 in Mississippi to the late Martha Lanthirp and Jesse James Logan, was a homemaker and a member of Lambert United Methodist Church.

Survivors include one brother Frank Logan Sr. of Lambert; one sister Fannie Pritchard of Amory; three grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and one great great-grandchild.

All memorials may be sent to a charity of the donor's choice

McPherson, June Welch
June Welch McPherson, 70, of Harmontown, died Thursday at Baptist Memorial Hospital- North Mississippi in Oxford.

McPherson was a graduate of South Side High School, a member of the O.K. Houck Eastern Star 229, a member of Senatobia Methodist Church and the Lafayette County Emergency Medical Responder Team.

Services will be Sunday, Oct. 24, 2004, at Forest Hill Funeral Home Midtown. Burial will be in Forest Hill cemetery in Midtown. Forest Hill Funeral Home has charge.

She was preceded in death by her husband J.T. McPherson.

Survivors include one son David Thomas McPherson of Flint, Texas and three grandchildren.

Memorials may be sent to Harmontown Fire Department and Emergency Medical Responder Team.

Meek, Ray Dooley
Ray Dooley Meek, 83, of Courtland, died Tuesday, Jan. 13, 2004, at Baptist Memorial Hospital in Southaven of heart failure.

Services were Thursday at Wells Funeral Home Chapel in Batesville. Burial was at Pisgah cemetery in Courtland. Rev. Clay Baker officiated. Wells Funeral Home had charge.

Meek, born icon June 16, 1920, to the late Lester C. and the late Mary Ileen Davis Meek, was a retired furniture builder and U.S. Army veteran of WW II. He was a member of Pisgah United Methodist Church.

Survivors include three brothers, Thomas W. Meek and John E. Meek, both of Courtland and Robert C. Meek of Oxford.

Melton, Andrew Daniel "Andy"
Memphis, TN - Andrew Daniel "Andy" Melton, 27, of Memphis, died Thursday, April 22, 2004, in Crenshaw.

Memorial services were Monday at Brantley Funeral Home in Olive Branch. Wells Funeral Home had charge.

Melton, born icon May 7, 1976, to Ronald C. and Jan Murff Melton, both of Memphis, was a freight car mechanic for Burlington Northern Railroad.

Survivors, in addition to his parents, include three brothers, Jeremy Charles Melton of Tallahassee, Fla., Joseph David Melton of Fort Walton Beach, Fla. and Michael James Melton of Memphis and his grandparents, Rayanne Cain of Ft. Walton Beach, Fla., Michael Corine Melton and Mildred Laura Melton, both of Nashville, Tenn.

Melton, Velma Cleo
Velma Cleo Melton, 81, of Southaven, died Sunday, June 20, 2004, at Baptist Desoto Hospital in Southaven.

Services were Tuesday at Latham Funeral Home in Water Valley. Burial was in Melton cemetery in Coffeeville. Latham Funeral Home had charge.

Melton was a housewife.

Survivors include three daughters, Margie Peters of Hughes, Ark., Rachel Clark of Southaven and Billie Jean Babb of Frazier, Tenn.; two sons, Henry Melton of Batesville and Michael A. Melton of Denham Springs, La.; one brother Joe Melton of Coffeeville; 15 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren; and 10 great great-grandchildren.
