Arlene Johnson Roseman
Arlene Johnson Roseman, 87, of South Bend, Ind., formerly of Como, passed away on March 2, 2015. Funeral services were held Tuesday, March 10 from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. at Felix Cauthen Funeral Home in Senatobia. Burial followed at Mt. Moriah CME Church cemetery in Como.
She is survived by a daughter, Barbara Michelle Roseman of South Bend, Ind.; three sons, James Samuel Roseman of Chicago, Ill., Perry Douglas Roseman of Cincinnati, Ohio, and Michael Bernard Roseman of South Bend, Ind.; a sister, Cora Lee Freeman of Memphis, Tenn.; four grandchildren; and five great grandchildren.
Lacey Gitter
Lacey Gitter, 78, of Senatobia, Miss., passed away February 28, 2015 in Memphis, Tenn. He was a veteran serving in the United States Air Force, and was a member of the Crockett Church of Christ.
He is survived by his wife, Christine Gitter of Senatobia; two sons, David Gitter of Memphis, Tenn. and Shane Gitter of Colorado Springs, Colo.; his sister, Sadella Dickerson of Faulkner; a brother, Bobby Gitter of Batesville; and a grandson, Jacob Gitter of Memphis, Tenn.
Services were held Tuesday March 3, at 2:00 p.m. at Crockett Church of Christ. Burial followed in Crockett cemetery.

Suzanne Haas
Suzanne Haas, 57, of Southaven, Miss., passed away March 4, 2015 at North Delta Hospice in Southaven. A memorial service was held Saturday, March 7, at 10 a.m. at Boulevard Baptist Church in Southaven.
She is survived by her mother, Jane Haas of Southaven; sister, Amanda Haas Boyd of Southaven; brother, Wesley Haas of Southaven; and nieces and nephews, April Kinney, Jason Hardage, Noah Billingsley, Blake Haas, Hayden Haas, Mason Boyd and Emily Boyd. Pate-Jones Funeral Home had charge of the arrangements.
June Gean Massey
June Gean Massey, 51, of Sardis, passed away Tuesday, March 3, 2015 at St. Francis Hospital in Memphis, Tenn.
She was a member of Church of Christ.
Ms. Massey is survived by one son, Christopher Jones of Coldwater; two sisters, Jessica Ratliff of Coldwater, and Jamie Edwards of Senatobia; and two nieces, Lisa Evans of Memphis, Tenn. and Tawna Helums of Hernando.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Helen McGee and James Gean.
A memorial service was held at 2 p.m. Sunday, March 8, at Ray-Nowell Funeral Home in Senatobia. The family received friends from 1-2 p.m., preceding the memorial service, at the funeral home.
Ray-Nowell Funeral Home had charge of arrangements.
Priscilla Wade Red
Priscilla Wade Red, 88 of Evansville, Miss., passed away March 3, 2015, at Methodist University Hospital in Memphis, Tennessee.
She was born
on January 15, 1927, in the Evansville Community to James Allen and Christine Still Wade.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 57 years, Thomas Red. They farmed in the Cottonville and Blue Goose Road Communities for 50 years.
She is survived by her daughters, Marilyn Red Spears (Gary) of Senatobia, and Linda Ann Red of Lakeland, Tenn. She leaves two grandsons, Jared Sullivan Spears of Taylor, Miss., and Daniel Garrett Spears (Julie) of Oxford, Miss. She also leaves three great-grandchildren, Jack Garrett, Samuel David, and Phoebe Joy Spears.
Priscilla was a dedicated homemaker. She enjoyed cooking, sewing, reading, and gardening vegetables and flowers.
She was an excellent cook and enjoyed taking food to people in times of need.
She was a member of the Evansville Baptist Church, and attended faithfully. She especially enjoyed attending the monthly meetings of the Community Sewing Club.
Services were held Sunday, March 8, at 3:00 p.m. at Evansville Baptist Church. Burial followed in Evansville Church cemetery.

Nolan Merritt Rowe, Sr.
Nolan Merritt Rowe, Sr., 78, of Senatobia, Miss., passed away March 5, 2015 at the Clarksdale Nursing Home. Services were held 12 p.m. Saturday, March 7, at Pate-Jones Funeral Home. Burial followed in Surrette cemetery.
He is survived by his daughter, Beverly Rowe Still of Jackson; son, Nolan Rowe, Jr. of Hernando; 10 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren.
He was a member of Little Texas Baptist Church.
Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society.
Clyde Michael Sipp
Clyde Michael Sipp, 55, auto technician, passed away on March 1, 2015. Funeral services were held on Sunday, March 8 at 2 p.m. at New Covenant S.D.A. in Memphis, Tenn.
He was a musician and served in the National Guard.
Sipp is survived by his wife, Antionette Sipp; mother, Annie Ruth Sipp of Coldwater; sons, Michael Anthony Sipp of Southaven, Kenneth Jerome Sipp of Southaven, and Trenton Taylor of Southaven; sisters, Pamela Sipp Mackery of Memphis, Tenn., Bobbie Sipp Williams of Collierville, Tenn., Jurline Sipp Assalol of Memphis, Tenn., and Annie Sipp Blackwell of Cosby, Tenn.; brothers, Tyrone Sipp of Memphis, Tenn., Bernard Sipp of Coldwater, Elmer “Bodie” Sipp of Coldwater, Earl Sipp of Grenada, and Wally Sipp of Coldwater.

Adrain Lynn Valentine
Adrain Lynn Valentine, 50, factory worker, of Como, Miss., passed away on February 27, 2015. Funeral services were held at Cistern Hill M.B. Church in Como on Saturday, March 7. Burial followed in Cistern Hill M.B. Church cemetery in Como.
She is survived by her husband Timothy Valentine of Como; son Timothy Valentine Jr. of Como; sisters Pamela Dennis of Henderson, Ky. and Glenda Lewis of Memphis, Tenn.; brothers Leroy Burdette Jr. of Sardis, Robert Earl Burdette of Henderson, Ky. and Darnell Burdette of Como; and one grandchild Javion Valentine.

Myrtle Green Blassingame
Myrtle Green Blassingame, 82, of Independence, Miss., passed away on March 17, 2015 at Baptist Memorial Hospital in Memphis, Tenn.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Jimmy Blassingame; sisters, Ruby Smart, Frances Moore, Gladys Brown and Mae Dean Lambert; and brothers, Harvey Green, Hoss Green and Bob Green. She is survived by her son, Kirby Blassingame and wife Denise of Olive Branch; brothers, Whim Green and Bud Green both of Jumpertown; and granddaughter, Monica Dyan Blassingame of Hernando.
She was a member of Independence United Methodist Church.
Mrs. Blassingame was the self-proclaimed mayor of Bucksnort, Miss.
Memorials may be made to the Independence United Methodist Church, P.O. Box 152, Independence, MS 38638 or a charity of choice.
Services were held Friday, March 20, at 2:00 p.m. at the Independence United Methodist Church. Burial followed in Mt. Zion cemetery.

Philip Garrett
Philip Garrett, 76, of Coldwater, passed away March 13, 2015 at his residence.
He is survived by his wife, Betty Garrett of Coldwater; sister-in-laws, Martha Holliday (Ferrell) of Southaven, Faye McClain (Leland) of Olive Branch, Linda Parker (David) of Marvell, Ark.; brother-in-law, Billy Hall (Sandra) of Crenshaw; and a host of nieces and nephews.
Memorials may be sent to First Baptist Church Coldwater.
Services were held Sunday, March 15, at 3:00 p.m. at Pate-Jones Funeral Home in Senatobia. Burial followed in Longtown cemetery.
Bobby Johnson
Bobby Johnson, 62, passed away Saturday, March 14, 2015 at Greenwood-Leflore Hospital in Greenwood.
Funeral services were held at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, March 17, at Wells Funeral Home Chapel with interment having followed at Campground cemetery near Water Valley.
Bobby was born
February 14, 1952 in Memphis, Tenn. to the late Claude and Patsy Louise White Johnson. He worked as a diesel mechanic.
Bobby is survived by his daughter, Virginia Johnson Davis of Pope; son, Bobby Johnson, Jr. of Nesbit; two brothers, Harold Johnson of Dallas, Texas, Charles Johnson of Southaven; six grandsons and three great-grandsons.
Joseph William Perryman
Mr. Joseph William Perryman, 77, of Arkabutla, passed away Thursday, March 12, 2015 at Baptist Memorial Hospital – DeSoto in Southaven.
He was retired from El Paso Natural Energy after 35 years of service and retired from the Mississippi Army National Guard after serving over 12 years.
He was an active member of Arkabutla Baptist Church, where he was youth director and youth choir director.
An avid golfer and fisherman he was a devoted husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather.
Mr. Perryman is survived by his wife of 58 years, Betty H. Perryman from Arkabutla; two daughters, Angela Brister (Scottie) of Barr Community, and Kathy Carlisle (Wayne) of Arkabutla; one son Michael Joseph Perryman (Ann) of Houma, La.; one sister, Maudie Mae Gerke (Keith); one stepbrother, Sammy Taylor; seven grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Jim Perryman and Bina Lee Taylor; one grandson, Justin Carlisle; his step-father, Frank Taylor; two brothers, Royce Perryman and Jim Perryman, Jr.; and one step-brother, Jack Taylor.
A memorial service was held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, March 21, at Arkabutla Baptist Church. The family received friends from 10-11 a.m. at the church proceeding the memorial service.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Arkabutla Baptist Church Building Fund.
