MOSS BLUFF - Services for JoAnn Ewing Fontenot, 59, who died Wednesday, Jan. 8, 2003, at her residence, will be at 2 p.m. Friday at Hixson Funeral Home Chapel with Monsignor Charles DuBois officiating.
Burial will follow in Westlake Memorial Park under the direction of Hixson Funeral Home.
Visitation is from 5 to 9 p.m. with a rosary at 7 p.m. today and from 8 a.m. until funeral time Friday at the funeral home.
Mrs. Fontenot was a native of Natchez and had lived in the Lake Charles, La., area for the last 15 years. She was a member of St. Theodore Catholic Church, past member of the Ladies Auxiliary in Devine, Texas, a weather watcher for KPLC-TV and won the Blue Bonnet Open Dart Tournament in Houston.
Survivors include her husband, Joe Fontenot of Lake Charles; one son, Doug Pierce of Ragley; one daughter, Tracy Anderson of Lake Charles; two brothers, Robert Ewing of Natchez and Presley Ewing of Jackson; two sisters, Diane Nutter of Natchez and Fairfax Ewing of Jackson; and four grandchildren, Tiffany Pierce, Emily, Cody and Brittany Fontenot.

She received her bachelor of social sciences in 1984 and her master's of education in 1989 at Alcorn State University, was employed with the Alcorn State University MBA program, Natchez campus, and was a member of King Solomon Baptist Church and Lizzie Shoemaker Temple.
Survivors include one son, Eric B. Frye Jr.; her mother; 10 sisters, Jessie Marie Taylor, Floria Morales, Patricia Bernard, Joyce Marvel, Glenda Harrison, Carolyn Marvel, Blanche Marvel, Andrea Marvel, Stacy Briggs and Christin Thompson; and nine brothers, Kem Johnson, Benjamin Johnson, Clarence Johnson, the Rev. Clifton E. Marvel Sr., Albert D. Marvel, James Marvel Harris, Karl Marvel, Alex Marvel and Reginald Marvel Sr.
Pallbearers will be Obie Jones, Henry Jones, Chris Lowe, Anthony Johnson, Michael Taylor and Keith Lowe.
Honorary pallbearers will be Willie Lowe Jr., Gilmer Brooks, Joe Johnson and Clifton Marvel Jr.

Mrs. Havard was born
Jan. 22, 1931, in Ruleville, the daughter of James Vardaman and Lorene Wilson Willingham.
She was retired from the William Carter Co. in Centreville and was a member of Church of Christ.
Mrs. Havard was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Carol James Havard; two daughters, Diana Gail Havard and Pattie Carol Havard Pittman; two sisters, Pauline Durham and Peggy Seale; and two brothers, Frank Lee and Belton Willingham.
Survivors include three sons, Mike Havard and his wife, Marchia, both of Liberty, Brett Havard and his wife, Sue and Tracy Havard, all of Centreville; two daughters, Kathy H. Stennett of Centreville and Ruth H. Frost of Zachary, La.; 12 grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; three brothers, James K. Willingham and Cary Willingham and his wife, Debbie, all of Gloster, and Gary Williangham of Jackson, La.; one sister, Dolly Ruth McKlemurry of Gloster; two aunts, Irene Ital of Gloster and Betsy Skelton of Mantee; six nephews; and five nieces.
Pallbearers will be Cary, Gary and James Willingham, Mickey Frost, Pistol McKey and Paul Pittman.

Mrs. Holland was born
Aug. 26, 1918, in Franklin County, the daughter of Hosea and Lillie Miranda Freeman Allred.
Mrs. Holland was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Stewart Holland.
Survivors include two daughters, Betty H. Taylor and her husband, Scott, both of Natchez and Margaret H. Shirley and her husband, Michael, both of Kingsport, Tenn.; two grandsons, Neil S. Taylor and his wife, Stephanie, both of Bossier City, La., and Brad S. Taylor and his wife, Shanari, both of Monterey, La.; one granddaughter, Julie Anne Shirley of Kingsport; three great-granddaughters, Courtney Taylor, Haley Taylor and Morgan Taylor; one great-grandson, Lee Scott Taylor; three brothers, Clyde Allred of Vidalia, Hollis Allred of Natchez and Bobby Allred of Ferriday; three sisters, Pearl Holland and Maggie Holland, both of Meadville, and Kathryn Seale of Natchez; a number of nieces and nephews; and one cousin, Retha F. Campo of Brookhaven.
Pallbearers will be Arthur Holland, William H. Seale, Benjamin Hazlip, Jason Jones, P G Holland and Alan Holland.
