NATCHEZ - Private burial services for Rebecca M. Williamson, 81, of St. Louis, MO, formerly of Natchez, who died Sunday, Nov. 9, 2003, in St. Louis, will be held at the Natchez National cemetery under
the direction of Laird Funeral Home.
Mrs. Williamson was born
Oct. 10, 1922, in Hadley, the daughter of Bluford Mangum and Martha Derrick Mangum.
Mrs. Williamson was preceded in death by her husband, Dale Charles Williamson and her son, Dale Charles Williamson, Jr.
Survivors include her daughter, Marianne Flesch of St. Louis and granddaughters, Samantha and Courtney Flesch.
Rosie Lee Brown
March 4, 1928 - Oct. 27, 2003
MONROE - Services for Rosie Lee Brown, 75, of Rapid City, S.D., who died Monday, Oct. 27, 2003, at her residence, will be at 2 p.m. today at New Bethel Baptist Church in Monroe with the Rev. Anthony Wilcher officiating.
Burial will be in the church cemetery under the direction of George F. West Funeral Home.
Visitation is from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. today and from 1 p.m. until service time Sunday at the church.
Mrs. Brown was born
March 4, 1928, in Quentin, the daughter of Dewitt Hall and Addie Mae Tillman.
She was a member of New Bethel Baptist Church.
Survivors include one son, Jack Brown, Jr. and wife, Vivian of Ogden, Utah; two daughters, Judy Ann Davis and husband, Chuck of Denver, Colo., and Jo Ann Coates and husband, Calvin of Rapid City, S.D.; two brothers, Nathaniel Hall and wife, Ida of Layton, Utah, and Rev. Willie D. Hall and wife, Charlie, of Pleasant Grove, Ala.; sister, Lillie V. Jones of Ogden, Utah; two grandchildren, Bettina Coates and Calvin Coates Jr. of Rapid City, S.D.; and a number of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Pallbearers will be Exal Harris, Willie L. Woods, D.D. Reed, Andrew King, James King and M.C. Cotton.

McCOMB - Patricia Ann Miller Taylor, 60, of Summit, died Nov. 8, 2003, at Ocshner Medical Center in New Orleans.
She was born
Aug. 21, 1943, in Tylertown, Miss. She was the daughter of Wilson P. Miller Jr. and LaVerne O'Quin Miller of Vidalia, La.
She was a homemaker and had taught cosmetology at Southwest Mississippi Community College. She was a member of First Baptist Church in Summit.
She is survived by her husband, J. Marvin Taylor of Summit, two sons and daughters-in-law, Mike Taylor and Sandy and Jeff Taylor and Susan, all of Summit; one daughter and son-in-law, Jill Taylor Oie and Rick of Elliston, Mont.; one brother, Paul Miller and his wife, Michelle, of Vidalia, La.; two sisters, Mary King and her husband, Philip, of Summit and Linda Lawson and her husband, Billy, of Miamisburg, Ohio; six grandchildren, John Michael Taylor Jr., Reed Taylor, Maggie Taylor, Jamie Taylor, Morgan Oie and Cole Oie; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation is Sunday at Catchings Funeral Home in McComb, Miss., from 5 to 8 p.m. and Monday from 9:30 a.m. until services at 10:30 a.m. in the funeral home chapel with Dr. Jerry Smith officiating. Graveside services will be Monday at 3 p.m. at Harrisonburg cemetery in Harrisonburg, La.

Cora Lee Brown

FAYETTE - Services for Cora Lee Brown, 68, of Roxie, who died Saturday, Nov. 1, 2003, at Franklin Memorial Hospital in Meadville, will be at noon Saturday at Rose Hill No. 1 Baptist Church in Fayette with the Rev. Ernest Ford Jr. officiating.
Burial will be in Bethlehem Baptist Church cemetery in Hamburg under the direction of George F. West Funeral Home.
Visitation is from 5 to 9 p.m. today at the funeral home and from 11 a.m. until service time Saturday at the church.
Mrs. Brown was born
June 20, 1935, in Hamburg, the daughter of C.W. and Rosie Lee Brown.
She was educated at Mount Olive High School and was a member of Rose Hill No. 1 Baptist Church, the church choir and Sunday School Secretary.
Survivors include her mother, Rosie Lee Brown; sister, Sadie Lee Brown; daughter, Brenda Chambliss; three sons, Kenneth Brown, Charles Brown and Marvin T. Brown; daughters-in-law, son-in-law, grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Pallbearers will be Rose Hill No. 1 Baptist Church Deacons.
Honorary pallbearers will be Kenneth Brown, Charles Brown, Marvin Brown, Carlton Brown, Derrick Brown, Bradlon Huff, Tony Burch and Timmie Chambliss.
Mary "Little Sister" Daniels Genes

NATCHEZ - Services for Mary "Little Sister" Daniels Genes, 65, of Natchez, who died Sunday, Nov. 2, 2003, at Natchez Community Hospital, will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Fourth Street Church of Christ with Brother Windell Green officiating. Burial will be in Pine Hill Memorial Park under the direction of R.D. Mackel and Sons.
Visitation is from noon to 5 p.m. today at the funeral home and from 10 a.m. until service time Saturday at the church.
Mrs. Genes was born
May 12, 1938, in Adams County, the daughter of Mose Daniels and Mary Brown Daniels.
She was educated in the Adams County School System and a housewife.
Mrs. Genes was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Willie Genes; two sons, Robert Daniels and Charles Daniels; and a sister, Elizabeth Daniels.
Survivors include three daughters, Thelma Campbell and husband, James, Terri Carr and Catrena Barnes and husband, Charles; one son, Joseph Platter; two sisters, Lorine Jackson and Susie Sims; one brother, Leon Daniels; 16 grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren; and a number of other relatives and friends.
Pallbearers will be friends of the family.

DALLAS, TX - Elizabeth Ann Schmidt, 57, passed away Thursday, Oct. 23, 2003, in Dallas at her home.

Mrs. Taylor was born
March 5, 1923, in Scott County, the daughter of Walter and Tressie Everette Dennis.
Mrs. Taylor was preceded in death by her husband, W. C. Taylor; son, Billy Ray Taylor; and grandsons, Charlie Taylor and Rusty Watts.
Survivors include daughters, Barbara Watts and Connie Wilson of Natchez; sons, Charles Taylor, Jimmy Taylor and Mark Taylor, all of Natchez; 10 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren; two sisters and two brothers.
Pallbearers will be her grandsons.
James Norman Chaffin
WOODVILLE - Memorial services for James Norman Chaffin will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Woodville United Methodist Church.
Visitation is from 6 to 8 p.m. today and from 1 p.m. until service time Saturday at the church.
Mr. Chaffin was born
April 25, 1933, in Bethesda, MD.
He worked in Baton Rouge, LA for 21 years, while raising his family and working for the Illinois Central Railroad. Norman retired and moved to Pond in 1984 where he and his wife, Mary Elizabeth Smith Chaffin, reopened the Pond Store. Norman, better know as "Foots", "Grumpy" and "Cheyenne", loved life. He was up at daylight to tend to his donkeys and ducks before opening the store. He spent his days tending to the needs of those around him never placing his wants before others. Norman loved his family and was an active part in their lives. Everything from attending ballgames and recitals to building huts of hay for the grandchildren to play in. He will forever be a part of the lives of those he touched.
He was preceded in death by his father, Philip Chaffin and mother, Ruth Garvin Chaffin.
Known as a wonderful husband to Mary Elizabeth Smith Chaffin and father and grandfather to, Elizabeth Chaffin Ward and her husband, Barry and children, Katie, Jay, Lacey, and Philip of Missouri City, TX, Marguerite Chaffin Fenerty and husband, Danny and children, Maggie and Bonnie of Mandeville, LA, James Norman Chaffin Jr. and wife, Jennifer and children, James, Marisa and Jennifer of Woodville, Svend Chaffin Waltman and husband, Rew and children, Robert, Kehl, Alex and Betsy of Denham Springs, LA, William Edward Costinett and wife, Debbie and children, Caitlin and Will of St. Francisville, LA and son, Philip Alexander Chaffin of Bronxville, NY. He also leaves behind two brothers, Philip and David; three sisters, Belle, Virginia and Josephine; and mother-in-law, Josephine Smith.

Burial will be in Wintergreen cemetery in Port Gibson under the direction of Laird Funeral Home.
Mrs. Rogillio was born
Nov. 20, 1917, in Brookhaven, the daughter of Joseph Neuson and Retta Olis Faris Tanner.
She graduated from Mississippi College in Clinton with a B.S. degree in Education in 1961 and a Masters Degree in 1967. She taught school at Red Lick Elementary, Culkin Elementary School in Vicksburg, Port Gibson Elementary in Port Gibson, and Chamberlain Hunt Academy in Port Gibson. She was a member of Immanuel Baptist Church, Natchez.
Mrs. Rogillio was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Alva Holt Rogillio, Sr.; and a son, Allen Holt Rogillio.
Survivors include her children, Sandra Hoover of Port Gibson, Cheryl Spencer of Natchez and Al Rogillio, Jr. of Baton Rouge, LA; grandchildren, Edwin Frances Hoover, IV, Al Hoover, Sonya S. Upton, Julia S. Shrout, Travis Rogillio, Troy Rogillio, Trent Rogillio, Timothy Rogillio and Vicki R. Griffin; great-grandchildren, Lauren Gentry, E. R. (Evan) Hoover, V, Gabriel Hoover, Caleb Upton, Caitlyn Upton, Tanner Shrout, Tucker Shrout, Clint Rogillio, Megan Rogillio, Joshua Griffin and Brittany Nicole Griffin.

Mrs. Stampley was born
March 9, 1981, in Natchez, the daughter of Irwin Monroe and Shelly Paulette Tisdale Scarborough.
She was a 1999 graduate of Cathedral High School. She married
Eric Stampley on May 19, 2001. She was currently working toward her certification as an Emergency Medical Technician. To her close family and friends she was lovingly known as "Ya-Ya". Everyone who knew her, knew that she never met a stranger. She was known for her abundant energy, love and excitement for life. She will be deeply missed as a wife, daughter, sister, aunt, cousin and friend.
Mrs. Stampley was preceded in death by her paternal grandfather, Irwin Scarborough.
Survivors include her husband, Eric Stampley of Natchez; parents, Irwin and Shelly Scarborough of Gulfport; sister, Nicki and husband, James Quintini of Pass Christian; niece, Shelby Quintini; nephew, Nicholas Quintini; niece, Madison Newman; maternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Donnis Tisdale of Meadville; paternal grandparents, Gena and Lloyd Farris of Natchez; and a number of aunts, uncles, cousins and loving friends.
Pallbearers will be Mike Wilson, James Quintini, Brent Weadock, Jerry Buckles, Jerry Buckles, Jr. and David Mize.
Honorary pallbearer will be Mark Wilson.
