NATCHEZ - Services for Sam Walter Henderson, 72, of Natchez, who died Monday, Dec. 6, 2004, at his residence, will be 1 p.m. Saturday at Zion Flower Baptist Church with the Rev. D. W. Howard officiating.
Burial will be in the Daughters of Zion Baptist Church cemetery under the direction of Robert D. Mackel Funeral Home.
Visitation is from 1 p.m. until 6 p.m. today at the funeral home.
Mr. Henderson was born
May 17, 1932, in Adams County, the son of the late Martin Henderson Jr. and Mary Louise Johnson Henderson.
He was a member of the Daughters of Zion Baptist Church and the Emerald Mound Hunting Club. He was a retired carpenter.
He is preceded in death by his parents.
Survivors include his wife, Rosie Hoskins Henderson of Natchez; daughter, Mary Straus and husband, Ben, of Natchez; son, Willie Hoskins and wife, Martha, of Ft. Worth, Texas, brother, Martin Henderson III and wife, Ella, of Natchez; four sisters, Josephine Blackwell of Natchez, Bessie Cain and husband, Joe, of Kansas, Margaret Ringgold and Betty Byrd, both of Sante Monica, Calif.; three aunts, Alberta Fergurson, Gladys Thomas, and Rosie Lee Singleton, all of Natchez; five granddaughters; five great-great-granddaughters; a host of other relatives and friends.
Pallbearers will be members of Daughters of Zion Church and Emerald Mound Hunting Club.
Honorary pallbearers will be Esaw Chatman and nephews.

WOODSTOCK, Ga. - Services for Chadwick Lee Wolfe, 25, and his children, Noah Rayne Wolfe, 3, and Summer Rain Wolfe, 7 months, all of Ellijay, who died as a result of injuries sustained in an automobile accident, will be 2 p.m. today at First Baptist Church of Woodstock, Ga. with Dr. Johnny Hunt officiating.
Burial will be in the Enon cemetery under the direction of Woodstock Funeral Home of Woodstock, Ga.
Visitation is from 11 a.m. until service time Friday at the church.
Chad is survived by his wife, Brooke Suzanne Wolfe of Ellijay, Ga.; parents, Jim and Sharon Wolfe of Marietta, Ga.; brother, Alan Wolfe of Marietta, Ga.; grandparents, Ollie and Lane Lee of Vidalia, La., and Ethel Wolfe of Kingsport, Tenn.; several aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Noah and Summer are survived by their mother, Brooke Suzanne Wolfe; grandparents, Jim and Sharon Wolfe and Dan and Linda Gordon of Woodstock, Ga.; great-grandparents, Ollie and Lane Lee and Ethel Wolfe, Gene and Carole Gordon of Merrillville, Ind., and Ruby Morgan of Bryson City, N.C.; several aunts, uncles, and cousins.

HOUSTON, Texas - Services for Lessie H. Holder, a former Natchez resident, who died Wednesday, Dec. 8, 2004, in Richmond, Texas, will be today at 1 p.m. at Forest Park, Westheimer in Houston, Texas.
Mrs. Holder was a member of First Baptist Church, Natchez, serving many years of teaching Sunday School and singing in the choir. She was an active member of the Natchez Garden Club.
She was preceded in death by her husband, S. W. Holder.
Survivors include a daughter, Phyllis Johnson and husband, Lloyd, of Richmond, Texas; son, Raymond Holder of Hallettsville, Texas, three grandchildren, Stephanie Gebhardt and husband, Charles, of Sealy, Texas; Stacie Rouze and husband, Scott, of Sugar Land, Texas; and Lee Johnson and wife, Dawn, of Malvern, Pa.; six great-grandchildren, Weston and Charlotte Gebhardt, Christina and Gregory Rouze, and Clayton and Conner Johnson; two sisters, Geraldine Brown of Pass Christian and Wilma Bryson of Angleton, Texas; brother, and Leguin Hamilton of Pascagoula.
Annie Liza Hoskins

NATCHEZ - Services for Annie Liza Hoskins, 82, of Natchez, who died Friday, Dec. 3, 2004, at Natchez Regional Medical Center, will be 11 a.m. Thursday at Zion Watch Baptist Church with the Rev. Andrew Butler officiating.
Burial will be in the New Hope Baptist Church cemetery under the direction of George F. West Funeral Home.
Visitation is from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. today at the funeral home and 10 a.m. until service time Thursday at the church.
Mrs. Hoskins was born
Oct. 5, 1922, in Adams County, the daughter of the late Harry and Rachel Anderson.
She was of Zion Watch Baptist Church where she served on the Mother's Board and the Missionary Society.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Clarence Hoskins; and two brothers, William T. Anderson and Fred Anderson.
Survivors include a sister, Margaret Anderson, two brothers, Rev. Matthew L. Anderson and Rev. James C. Anderson; four sisters-in-law, Katie L. Anderson, Agnes Anderson, Ester Anderson, and Edith Anderson; a host of nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, great-great-nieces and great-great-nephews, other relatives and friends.
Pallbearers will be the nephews.
William Archer Borum
Sept. 29, 1933 - Nov. 26, 2004
The family will have a private memorial gathering for William Archer Borum, who died Friday, Noc. 26, 2004, in Boulder, Colo., will be held at a later date.
He grew up in Natchez and graduated from Natchez High School. He earned a bachelor's degree in History and English Literature from Mississippi College in 1954, a master's degree in Administration from the University of Pittsburgh in 1958, and a master's degree in Political Science from American University in 1964. He had lived and worked in Washington, D.C. for many years but had spent his most recent years traveling and living in Europe, Mexico and South America.
Mr. Borum was preceded in death by his father, Charles Spurgeon Borum Sr.; his mother, Marie Clark Longmire; and his brother, Dr. Charles S. Borum.
Survivors include his ex-wife, Joan L. Jones of Milford, N.H.; two sons, Christopher Borum of Maple Grove, Minn. and Owen Borum of Boulder Colo.; two grandsons, Jackson Borum and Tristan Borum; three nephews, Chuck Borum, Tom Borum and Alan Borum of Natchez; and a niece, Joyce Borum of Vicksburg.
Memorials in the form of a contribution to local hospice organizations.

Mrs. Poole was born
Oct. 31, 1903, in Franklin County, the daughter of Robert Smith and Elizabeth Bessie Parker Smith. She was a housewife and a member of Mount Olive Methodist Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Harlon Poole; her parents; five brothers; and three sisters.
Survivors include a son, Talmadge Hutchins and wife Kathleen of Natchez; a granddaughter, Frances Burr and husband Steve of Denver; a grandson, Alan Hutchins and wife Stephanie of Natchez; three great-grandchildren, Chris Hutchins and wife Skeeter of Natchez, Lauren Henderson and husband Keith of Bartlett, Tenn., and Aubry Burr of Denver; two great-great-grandchildren; and a number of nieces and nephews.

Mr. Smith was born
March 10, 1911, in Franklin County, the son of Sam Smith and Joanna Jenkins Smith. He was a retired welder in road construction and shipbuilding.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Idell Smith; his parents; and a daughter, Jonell Case.
Survivors include two sons, Kenneth Smith of McCall Creek and Paul Douglas Smith of Hattiesburg; two brothers, Roger Smith and Rayford Smith, both of Natchez; two sisters, Bonnie Brooks of Jackson and Nova Burris of Baton Rouge; eight grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; and a number of great-great-grandchildren.

Aug. 8, 1938, the daughter of John R. Kuhn and Myrtle McCurty Kuhn. She was a member of West Side Baptist Church.
Survivors include four children, Bobby Johnson Jr. of Baton Rouge, Lisa Gemmell of Florida, Evelyn Wascon of Baton Rouge and Karen Parnell of Baton Rouge; two sisters, Dianna Buckles of Natchez and Karen Lofton of Natchez; and a number of grandchildren and other family.
