Visitation will be prior to service from 10-11 a.m. and interment will be in Hickory Grove cemetery, Inverness. Mortimer Funeral Home, Indianola, has charge. Logan died April 10, 2009. She was a member of Inverness United Methodist Church and Explorers Bible study, Inverness Election Commission. She was preceded in death by her husband, Raymond "Mutt" Logan, brother, James W. Hughes and grandson, Brad Cummins. She leaves a son, Raymond M. Logan, Martinez, Calif.; two daughters, Sharon L. Wade, Inverness, and Karen L. Cummins, Hernando; brother, Steve Hughes, Tuscaloosa, Ala.; two sisters, Betty H. Hankins, Belzoni, and Myrtle H. Adcock, Lake Village, Ark.; three grandchildren, Sonya W. Lee, Louise, Brewer Wade, Tupelo and Joshua Logan, North Augusta, S.C.; two great granddaughters, Marion W. Lee, Louise, and Madison N. Wade, Tupelo. SOUTHAVEN - Services for Charles H. Brown, 84, will be at 2 p.m. Friday at Forest Hill South with visitation from 5-7 p.m. Thursday. Interment will be in Forest Hill South cemetery. Brown died April 13, 2009. He was an Army WWII veteran, a member of Bellevue Baptist Church and was retired from IC railroad. He was preceded in death by a daughter, Linda Porter. He leaves his wife, Loraine Brown, a son Ron Brown, Huntsville, Ala.; five grandchildren, Justin, Nick and Natalie Brown, Paige and Ethan Porter; great granddaughter, Kayden Kennedy.

NESBIT - Services for Jessie Mae Wilson, 77, will be at 12 p.m. Monday at Forest Hill South Chapel. Visitation will be from 10-service time. Wilson died April 8, 2009 at DeSoto Health Care nursing home. She was a retired bookkeeper. She was preceded in death by her husband, Felix G. Wilson and son, Mickey Wilson. She leaves her son, Larry Wilson and daughters, Connie Pitts and Pam Hudson; six grandchildren and five great grandchildren, all of Nesbit.
Timothy Keith Poe
OLIVE BRANCH - Services for Timothy Keith Poe, 51, will be at 1 p.m. Monday, at Brantley Funeral Home, Olive Branch, with visitation beginning at 11 a.m. Interment will be in Bethlehem Methodist cemetery, near Potts Camp. Poe died April 9, 2009 at his home. He was a recreational therapist at North Oak Regional Medical Center, Senatobia and was a member of the Soggy Bottom Hunting Club, a graduate of the University of Memphis and volunteered at Central Church, working with the handicapped. He leaves his wife, Jeanie Poe; a son, Jonathan Poe (Misty), Olive Branch; mother, Frances W. Poe; a sister, Pat Boston, both of Snow Lake Shores; grandchildren, Kaylin and Cooper Poe, Olive Branch; several nieces and nephews and David Culver, whom he thought of as a son. OLIVE BRANCH - Services for Larry W. McKnight, 75, will be at 12 p.m. today at Brantley Funeral Home, Olive Branch with visitation beginning at 10 a.m. McKnight died April 8, 2009 at Baptist DeSoto. He was preceded in death by his grandson, Andrew Kyle McKnight, sister, Dee McKnight and mother, Buena McMichael. He was born
in Columbus and graduated from S.D. Lee High School. He was an Army veteran of the Korean War. He was retired from investment banking and worked as a bond trader with UMIC. Lauderdale, Fla. and later at his home church "The Flame" Byhalia United Methodist Church at 3 p.m. April 19. Lipscomb died April 4, 2009 at Hospice of Palm Beach, West Palm Beach, Fla. He leaves his wife, Dawn Marie Papineau Lipscomb; three sons, Ryan Douglas Lipscomb, Spencer Riley Lipscomb, and Aaron Jack Lipscomb all of Oxford; his parents Douglas Kent Lipscomb and Karen Kay Lipscomb, Boynton Beach; two grandmothers, Lavon Kenyon and Mary Jean Simons; siblings, Darren Edward Lipscomb (Lori), Queen Creek, Ariz., Kara Jean Botts (Troy), Boynton Beach; nieces, Tayler Lipscomb, Jordan Lipscomb, Hailey Botts, Lauren Poteet, Sarah Poteet, Amy Flint, Kasey Flint; nephews, Troy Botts Jr., Grant Poteet and Trey Flint.
