MILLER
James H. Miller, Jr., 83, of Helena, Miss., died Saturday, Dec. 21, at Singing River Hospital. He was retired from International Paper Company. He was survived by two sons, James E. Miller of Moss Point, and Bobby Miller of Hattiesburg, Miss.; one brother, Ronald Royce Miller, Ocean Springs, Miss.; one sister, Nell Holtz, Foley, Ala.; 10 grandchildren, four great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be Sunday from 6:30 to 9:00 p.m. December 22. Funeral services will be Monday, December 23, 2 p.m. at the Chapel at O'Bryant-O'Keefe. Burial will be Machpelah cemetery with O'Bryant-O'Keefe Funeral Home of Pascagoula in charge of arrangements.

Therrell
Mrs. Corine M. Therrell, 66, of Chunky, Miss., died Friday, December 20, 2002 at Riley Memorial Hospital in Meridian, Miss. She was a member of the Broadmoor Baptist Church of Meridian and a member of Chunky Homemakers Club.
She is survived by her husband, Carlton E. "Gene" Therrell of Chunky, Miss., a daughter, Angela Speir of Pascagoula, Miss., and a sister, Florine Bounds of Purvis, Miss.; a brother, David Madden of Kiln, Miss., and three grandchildren, Aimee, Jessica and Candice Speir.
Visitation will be Sunday from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. at Jones Funeral Home in Richton, Miss. Funeral services will be conducted by the Rev. Winnie McMahan and Rev. Johnny Watts. Pallbearers will be Nicky Bounds, Clayton Bounds, Matthew Bounds, Wallace Ray, Currie Locklear, Jason Anderson, and Felix Smith. Donations in lieu of flowers can be made to the American Heart Association.

DAVIS
Rev. John Howard Davis, Sr., 81, of Moss Point, Miss., died Thursday, December 19, 2002, in Biloxi, Miss. He was born icon October 22, 1921, in Wade, Miss. Rev. Davis was a United States Army and Navy veteran of World War II. After his military service, Rev. Davis became an ordained Assembly of God minister.
He pioneered and pastored Clark Bayou Assembly of God Church in Escatawpa, and also built an Assembly of God Church in San Luis Potosi, Mexico. Rev. Davis was active in the missions field serving in El Salvador, Honduras, Costa Rica, and Africa. He was a member of Full Life Assembly of God Church in Hurley. Rev. Davis was preceded in death by his father and mother, Mr. Norman Wesley and Mrs. Emily Josephine Delmas Davis; his wife, Mrs. Frances Love Davis; two brothers, Robert and Jerry Davis; and two sisters, Mildred Neuman, and Nancy Mae Goff.
He is survived by his son and daughter-in-law, John H., Jr. and Mary E. Davis of Moss Point; daughter, Tina Marie Zaldana of Saucier; 51 foster children; six grandchildren, John H. Davis, III, Bryan M. Davis, Jeffrey Lucas, Michael Lucas, Stacey Lucas, and Alex Zaldana; four great grandchildren, Jasmine Davis, Rebecca Davis, Jacob Dennis, and Austin Davis; and numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be Saturday, December 21, from 5 until 8 p.m. at Holder-Wells Funeral Home in Moss Point.
Funeral services will be Sunday, December 22, at 2 p.m., from the funeral home chapel with the Rev. Jesse Ray officiating.
A graveside service will be held on Monday, December 23, at 2 p.m., from Biloxi National cemetery, Biloxi, Miss.
Pallbearers will be John H. Davis, III, Bryan Davis, Alex Love, Glynn Davis, Roger Davis, and Barry Davis.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Assembly of God Missions, 8117 Hwy. 614, Moss Point, Miss. 39562.

CROW
Gladys V. Crow, 87, of Gautier, Miss., born icon Jan. 16, 1915, in Shreveport, La., died Dec. 18, 2002, in Gautier. Mrs. Crow was a member of Martin Bluff Baptist Church and a homemaker. She was preceded in death by her parents, Powell and Florence P. Lee, and an infant son.
Survivors include three daughters and sons-in-law, Wanda and Clovis McKissack of Gautier, Gloria Jean and Martin Case of Wiggins, Miss., Margie and Don Vequet of College Station, Texas; five grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren; numerous great-great grandchildren.
Funeral service will be Friday, Dec. 20, at 5 p.m. from Holder- Wells Funeral Home, in Moss Point. Friends may call one hour prior to service time.
Graveside services will be Saturday, Dec. 21, at 2 p.m., at Yazoo City cemetery in Yazoo City, Miss.
Grandsons and sons-in-law will serve as pallbearers.
Family prefers donations be made to the Lottie Moon Missionary offering or the charity of choice.

DUNCAN
Billie Jean Duncan, 73, a retired registered nurse, passed away Tuesday, Dec. 17, 2002. Billie was born icon Oct. 21, 1929, in Pascagoula, Miss. She graduated from Pascagoula High, where she received a scholarship to Millsaps University and graduated in 1951. She married icon John Duncan in 1954 and moved to Fort Worth where they raised their family. She was a longtime member of Bethesda Community Church. Billie loved witnessing for the Lord and was involved in many Christian activities. She retired from Family Service in 1998, and was a member and the historian of the Red Hat Society. She loved her friends and family very much and will be missed dearly.
Survivors include her husband, John Will Duncan; daughters, Kim Norris, Stephanie Hogan, Jonna Jewell and husband, Kenny; grandchildren, Mandy Missildine and husband, Dowell, Kelly Brooke Harris and husband, Josh, and Pamela Hogan; great-grandchildren, Colton and Clayton Missildine.
Visitation is Friday, 7:30 to 8:30 p.m., at Mount Olivet Funeral Home.
Funeral service will be Saturday at 1:30 p.m. from Mount Olivet Chapel.
Burial will be in Mount Olivet cemetery.

WOODALL
Maranda Graham Woodall, 25, of Tylertown, Miss., died Dec. 17, 2002, in Durant, Okla., from injuries sustained in an automobile accident. She was born icon Nov. 17, 1977, in Tylertown. She was the daughter of Richard "Ricky" Jefferson Graham and Ruth Hodges Terrell. She was a homemaker and a member of Guiding Light Pentecostal Church in Magnolia. She is preceded in death by an infant sister, Kimberly Shadon Graham.
She is survived by her father and stepmother, Ricky and Janice Graham of Columbia; her mother and stepfather, Ruth and Jerry Terrell of Tylertown; her husband, David W. Woodall of Tylertown; one son, Anthony Logan Carlo of Tylertown; one daughter, Lauryn Breyli Woodall of Tylertown; two brothers and one sister-in-law, Ricky Durant Graham and LeAnne of Tylertown, Dustin Blake "Joe" Graham of McComb; two sisters and brothers-in-law, Alisha and Scott Jordan of Franklinton, La., and Tyra Tenneal and Todd Ratcliff of Brookhaven; father-in-law, M. J. Woodall of Ocean Springs; mother-in-law, Sandra Dulaney and her husband, Jimmy, of Moss Point; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and other family members and friends.
Visitation is Thursday, at Guiding Light Pentecostal Church form 5:30 p.m. until 10 p.m. and Friday, from 11 a.m. until services at 1 p.m., with the Rev. Brad Terrell and the Rev. Jerry Terrell officiating.
Burial will be in the church cemetery.

Herbert L. Bonam
Mr. Herbert L. Bonam, Sr. departed this life, March 11, 2010 at We Care Hospice, Moss Point, MS. He was born icon April 17, 1922 in Pascagoula, MS to the late Lorenzo and Alice May Bonam.
He was a an active member of St. Peter the Apostle Catholic Church, Pascagoula, MS. HE served honorably in The US Army in WWII and was a Longshoreman.
Mr. Bonam was preceded in death by his parents and three brothers, Hogan, Albert and Leon Bonam
Hebert leaves to cherish his memories, a devoted and loving wife of 63 years, F. Victorine Barial Bonam of Pascagoula, MS; two sons, Daniel Bonam of California and Herbert (Carolyn) Bonam, Jr. of South Carolina; two grandson, Jeremy (Rachael) Bonam and Christian Bonam; three granddaughters, Jubliee, Samara, and Kailani Bonam; one brother, Warren Bonam of Michigan; two brothers-in-law, Dr. Walter J. (Sylvia) Bonam, LA and F.X. “Bobby” Barial, Pascagoula; one sister-in-law, Marie Barial Bonam, Pascagoula and a host of other beloved relatives and friends.
Funeral Mass will be held 10:00am Thursday, March 18, 2010 at St. Peter the Apostle Parish Life Center, 4102 North Market Street; visitation will be from 8:30-9:30am; rosary recited at 9:30am. Rev. Charles E. McMahon, S.S.J. will be officiating
Interment will be in St. Peter’s cemetery, Pascagoula, MS

HENDERSON
Preston L. Henderson, 73, of Pascagoula, Miss., died Saturday, Dec. 14, 2002, at the Biloxi Veterans Administration Hospital, Biloxi, Miss. He was born icon Feb. 16, 1929, in Collinsville, Ala., and has been a resident of the Jackson County area for the past 34 years. Mr. Henderson was of the Baptist faith, and was a retired shipfitter for Ingalls Shipbuilding. He was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force and Navy.
Survivors include his wife, Peggy Henderson of Pascagoula; two sons, Kenny (Linda) Henderson, Elcaon, Calif., Steven (Missy) Kersey, Norfolk, Va.; one daughter, Virginia (Jericho) Dixon, Moss Point; three sisters, Carol (Larry) Moore, Burma Knight, both of Ala., Lou (Harold) Richardson, San Diego, Calif.; four grandchildren, Christopher Young, Nathaniel Dixon, McKenzi Dixon, all of Moss Point, Taryn Wagner, Pascagoula; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
A private ceremony will be planned for a later date.

JOHNSON
Mr. Nelson Johnson, 42, of Moss Point, Miss., departed this life on Sunday, Dec. 15, 2002, at Singing River Hospital. He was born icon on Oct. 17, 1960, in Moss Point, where he was a lifelong resident.
He was preceded in death by his father, Nell Johnson; and Florence Mae Brown.
Survivors include his mother, Mattie E. Johnson; six brothers, Frank (Faye) Ward of Ocean Springs, Ronnie (Ella) Johnson, Willie Johnson and Ernest Johnson, all of Moss Point, Charles (Ruby) Stallworth of Oakland, Calif., and Curtis Johnson of Arizona; five sisters, Lillie Millender of Moss Point, Shirley (Odell) Maclin of Gautier, Mary Watson of Pascagoula, Betty Johnson of Arizona, and Lisa Walker of Virginia Beach, Va.; and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
Funeral services are Friday, Dec. 20, 11 a.m., at Turner Gulf Funeral Service, Pascagoula.
Interment will be in Scranton cemetery, Pascagoula.

MCCRORY
Mr. Joseph McCrory was born icon April 27, 1907, to the late Allen and Rosie Coleman McCrory, in Franklin County, Miss.
At an early age he united with Mt. Carmel Methodist Church of Lincoln County and later moved his membership to Zion Chapel AME of Lincoln County.
After moving to Moss Point, he united with the Little Rock Missionary Baptist Church under the leadership of Rev. P.D. House and later moved his membership to the New Faith Missionary Baptist Church under the leadership of Rev. Eddie Putman where he served on the Trustee Board and was a faithful member in regular attendance until his health began to fail. Mr. McCrory retired from the International Paper Co. where he worked for 26 years.
He departed this life on Dec. 12, 2002, at Singing River Hospital, Pascagoula, Miss.
He was preceded in death by his parents, the late Allen and Rosie Coleman McCrory; a wife, Willie Mae McCrory; a son, Joseph McCrory, Jr.; a daughter, Nira Lee Wesley Bledsoe; two brothers, James and John McCrory; six sisters, Melissa Byrd, Alice Smith, Lula Robinson, Lubertha Bell, Laura Adams and Louisa Jones; one grandson; one great-grandson; and two sons-in-law.
He leaves to cherish his memories a devoted wife, Mrs. Alberta McCrory of Moss Point, three sons, Otis McCrory, Osizy (Margie) McCrory, Robert (Gloria) McCrory, all of Moss Point; four daughters, Olivia (Edwin) Watson of Biloxi, Miss., Mary E. (Donald) Wells, Lois J. McCrory and Gwendolyn Kennard all of Moss Point; one daughter-in-law, Irma McCrory of St. Bernard, La.; four sisters, Bernice Taylor of Goulds, Fla., Fannie Clincy of Tylertown, Miss., Ella Wells of McComb, Miss., and Estella Martin of Detroit, Mich.; 11 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Viewing is 9 to 11 a.m., Saturday, December 21, at New Faith Missionary Baptist Church, Meridian Street, Moss Point.
Funeral services will begin promptly at 11 a.m. from the church.
Interment will be in Machpelah cemetery, Pascagoula, Miss.
All arrangements entrusted to Robinson's Friendly Funeral Home, Moss Point, Miss.
