WILLIAMS
Roscoe E. Williams, 74, of West Bayou Ave., Moss Point, Miss., expired Friday, Nov. 22, 2002, at his residence.
Mr. Williams was born icon July 16, 1928, in Howison, Miss. He served in the U.S. Army during the Korean Conflict. He was employed with International Paper where he retired after 45 years of service. Mr. Williams was a member of the St. Paul United Methodist Church.
He is survived by his wife, Effie Williams of 49 years; two daughters, Joy Williams and Sonya Bankole; three sons, Roscoe E., Jr. (Shirley), Lyle (Kathy) and Phillip Williams; one brother, Sam (Leola) Williams, Jr.; one sister Artimise (Foye) DuBose; two devoted nephews, Anthony and Jolly Parish; 13 grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
Funeral services will be Friday, Nov. 29, 11:30 a.m., at Turner Gulf Funeral Services.
Interment will be in V.A. National cemetery, in Biloxi, Miss., at 1 p.m.

GRAHAM
Merita Faye Glenn-Graham, 63, of Pascagoula, Miss., died Nov. 24, 2002, at her residence.
She was born icon Jan. 11, 1939, in Jackson County. Mrs. Graham was formerly employed in the deli at Sav-Rex Drugs in Pascagoula and worked as a cashier at Wayne Lee's Grocery for 10 years.
She was a member of Kreole Avenue Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Huey Judson Graham; parents, Euell H. "Country" and Wesley Louise Glenn; two brothers, Royce Freeman and Ronnie Glenn; stepson, Dewey Graham; infant son, Gary Michael Pierce; sister, Cathy Glenn; son-in-law, Troy Hanson; grandson, Adam Hanson, and granddaughter, Shana Pierce.
Survivors include son, Jerry Michael Pierce of Pascagoula; daughters, Angela Teague of Moss Point, Gina Lynn Pierce of Lucedale, Tammy Hammond of Hurley, Rhonda Thornton of Pascagoula, Nicole Hanson of Pascagoula; son, Justin Graham of Atlanta, Ga.; brothers, Clyde Glenn of LaPort, Texas, Robert Glenn of Heledale, Calif., Euell Glenn of Toledo, Ohio, James Glenn of Gautier; sisters, Linda Collins and Deborah Edwards, both of Moss Point; 24 grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; 30 nieces and nephews; special friends, James Long of Pascagoula and Zane Grizzard of Pascagoula; other relatives and friends.
Graveside services will be 2 p.m., Friday, Nov. 29, at W.R. Clark Memorial cemetery in Forts Lake, Miss.

Shelia M. Wells
Ms. Shelia M. Wells, 45 of Moss Point was born icon March 11, 1965. She passed on to eternal life on March 14, 2010 in Pascagoula, MS
Funeral Mass will be held 10:00am Saturday, March 20, 2010 at St. Peter The Apostle Life Center, Market Street, Moss Point; viewing will be from 9:00am; rosary recited at 9:30am.
Interment will be in Scranton cemetery, Pascagoula, Mississippi

RUSSELL
Delorse Jean Russell, age 67, died Tuesday Nov. 26, 2002, at her residence in Forts Lake. Mrs. Russell was born icon Jan. 27, 1935, in Big Springs Texas.
She was a homemaker and of the Baptist faith. Mrs. Russell was preceded in death by her parents, Edgar Nolan Warneke and Leona Ellen Warneke; her husband Charles Edward Russell; and one daughter, Kathie Janet Russell.
Survivors include three sons and daughters-in-law, Ronnie (Donna) Russell of Forts Lake, Miss., Alvin (Terry) Russell of Escatawpa, Miss., Joe (Glynna) Russell of Grand Bay, Ala.; two daughters and sons-in-law, Vicki (Nathan) Poole of Orange Grove, Miss., Darla (Teddy) Bell of Pascagoula, Miss.; two sisters, Barbara Manning of Anniston, Ala., Lois Henderson of Houston, Texas; one brother, Frank Warneke of Anniston, Ala.; 14 grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren; nieces; nephews; other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be Friday, Nov. 29, from 6 p.m. until 9 p.m., at Holder-Wells in Moss Point.
Funeral services will be Saturday, Nov. 30, at 10 a.m., from the funeral home chapel with the Rev. Wendell Stork officiating.
Burial will follow at the Orange Grove cemetery.
Pallbearers will be her grandsons, Eugene Rawson, Travis Russell, Lee Russell, Dan Russell, Scotty Malone, Nathan Poole Jr.
Honorary pallbearers will be Ty Russell, Hunter Russell and Peyton Russell.

LAWSON
Mr. Eddie Lawson, 67 a native of Grand Bay, Ala., was born icon October 9, 1935, he was a longtime resident of Moss Point.
Mr. Lawson departed this life and went to eternal rest on November 26, 2002, at his residence. He was born icon to the late Elijah and Cornelius Lawson in Grand Bay, Alabama.
He was preceded in death by five brothers and three sisters.
His survivors include a devoted and dedicated companion of many years, Mrs. Corine Forrest of Moss Point; one sister, Edith Wright of Irvington, Ala; one brother, Elijah Lawson Jr., of Detroit, Mich.; eight sons, Levi Lawson, Houston, Texas, Marshall (Maggie) Lawson, Clyde (Margaret) Forrest, Eddie Lee Forrest, all of Moss Point, Howard (Helen) Forrest of Gautier, Miss., Clifford (Terrance) Forrest of Pascagoula, Larry (Lisa) Forrest and Barry (Becky) Forrest of Gulfport, MS; five daughters, Lelia Kirkland of Pascagoula, Carolyn (James) Stallworth, Patricia (Winston) Smith, all of Moss Point, Diane (Gilbert) Peasant of Pensacola, Fla., and Velma (Thomas) Molden of Gautier, Miss.; one devoted niece, Irma Massey, two devoted nephews, John Massey and Samuel Moore, two sisters-in-law, Mrs. Eula Lawson, and Mrs. Somella Lawson of Grand Bay, Ala.; 30 grandchildren, 46 great-grandchildren, two devoted friends, Mrs. Florida McCorvey and Mr. Ernest Martin of Moss Point and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Viewing will be from 1:00-2:00 p.m. Saturday, November 30, 2002, at Christian Love Church of The Living God on Chillis Street, Moss Point.
Funeral Services will begin promptly at 2:00 p.m. from the church with Overseer D. A. Graham, Officiating.
Interment will be in Fernland cemetery, Grand Bay, Ala.
All arrangements entrusted to Millender's Funeral Home, Moss Point.

PURSER
Rupert Purser, 85 born icon Sept. 24, 1907, in Copiah County, Miss., died: November 28, 2002, in Pascagoula, Miss. He was a resident of Moss Point, Miss. He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Eunice Purser, sister Helen Mears, and his nephew, Bruce Mears.
Survivors include his wife, Juliaette Pruser, Franklin Creek, Miss.; 3 daughters, son-in-laws, Marilyn (Dan) Charlton, Franklin Creek, Miss., Yvette (Ernie) McCrimmon, Wade, Miss., Yvonne (Marc) French, Harleston, Miss.; one niece Jacqueline Helmly, Orlando, Fla.; five grandsons, Greg Hudson, Thomas Miller, Matthew McGehee, Scott McCrimmon, Skye McCrimmon, granddaughter, Ashley McGehee, numerous other great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and other relatives.
Visitation will be from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. on Saturday, November 30, 2002, at Jackson County Funeral Services in Escatawpa, Miss.
Services will be at 11 a.m. on Saturday, November 30, 2002, at the funeral home chapel.
Burial will be in Orange Grove cemetery, Moss Point, Miss.

MILES
Mrs. Lucille Lawless Miles, 79 of Hurley, Miss., died November 29, 2002, at her residence.
Graveside services will be 2 p.m. Saturday, November 30, 2002, at Big Creek cemetery. Larry Presley and Richard Hollingsworth will officiate.
She was a homemaker and a member of the Catholic faith and preceded in death by husband Ralph Miles and son Mike Miles.
Among the survivors are one son Kenny Miles of Pascagoula; two daughters and sons-in-law Jackie and Tony Webb of Hurley and Jean and Bob Webb of Moss Point; two brothers Fred Lawless of Laurel, Miss., and Charlie Lawless of Kokomo, Ind.; one sister Frances Fulton of Bay Town, Texas; nine grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be 12:30 p.m. Saturday, November 30, 2002, at Memory Chapel Funeral Home in Laurel, which is in charge of arrangements.
Pallbearers will be Freddy Stringfellow, Mark Stringfellow, Terry Smith, Ronnie Lowe, Perry Sumrall and Sonny Daley.

DODSON
Marice E. Dodson, 74 of Pascagoula died Tuesday, Nov. 26, 2002. He was born icon in Pontotoc, Miss., May 27, 1928. He was a loving Husband, Dad, Granddad, Brother and Uncle. He will be sadly missed by family and friends.
Mr. Dodson retired from Ingalls Shipbuilding in Pascagoula where he worked for 33 years as a driller, chipper in 11 department. He was a member of the Church of Christ in Pascagoula.
He was preceded in death by his parents Mr. and Mrs. Earl D. Dodson of Randolph, Miss. and brother Marvin Dodson.
He is survived by his devoted and loving wife, Dottie Pearl Swanson Dodson of Pascagoula and their devoted children Shelby Dodson Walker of Pascagoula, Max Lamar Dodson, Sr. and wife Monteraye of Ecru, Miss. He leave five grandchildren, Bobby Walker, who was very close and devoted and helped care for his grandparents, Max Dodson, Jr. (Lisa), Doug Dodson all of Pascagoula, Kim and Christy Dodson of Hurley. Two step-grandchildren, Richard and Marty Leifheit of New Albany, Miss. He leaves six great-grandchildren, Heather, Brandon, Max Aron Dodson all of Pascagoula, Krystal and Destiny Dodson, and Brandon Capsis of the Cedar Creek area. Three step-grandchildren, Taylor Dean and Alindra Leifheit of New Albany and Alana Leifheit also of New Albany. He leaves a very loving and devoted sister and brother-in-law, Charlene and Troy Black of Byhalia, Miss., brother EJ Dodson (Katie) of Randolph, Miss., sister-in-law Lottie Renfroe (Grady) of Moss Point, brother-in-laws Henry Swanson of Calhoun City, Miss., Alvis Swanson (Flora) of Albuquerque, New Mexico, Choice Swanson (Earlene) of Pittsboro, Miss., Royce Swanson (Kathlene), Willie Swanson both of Bruce, Miss., and Harrison Swanson (Helen) of Pontotoc. Miss. He has a host of nieces and nephews but shared a special closeness to Debbie Kay Black Henderson. He leaves many cousin and friends but shared a closeness with Paulene Moss Miller, who shared same birth date, and special friends Billy and Merlyn Chance Family who stood by until the end.
Visitation will be Saturday, Nov. 30, 2002, from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at Jackson County Funeral Services.
Graveside services will be Monday, Dec. 2, 2002, at 2:00 p.m. in Buckhorn cemetery in Pontotoc County.
Arrangements by Jackson County Funeral Services, Jackson County Miss.

Baby Girl Kimorea A. Crockett, 2 of Pascagoula was born icon October 26, 2007. She passed on to eternal life, March 16, 2010
Funeral Service will be held 12:00pm Monday, March 22, 2010 at Christian Love Church of The Living God, 4412 Chillis Street, Moss Point, MS with viewing one hour prior to the service.
Interment will be in Machpelah cemetery, Pascagoula, MS
