KEPPER
Charles Louis Kepper, age 77, a loving husband, father, grandfather and brother, passed away the afternoon of Saturday, November 30, 2002, after a lengthy illness. He will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved him. born icon in McComb, Miss., on August 4, 1925, he was a lifelong resident of Escatawpa, Miss. Mr. Kepper was a WWII Army veteran and retired after 32 years with International Paper Co. in the maintenance department. He was preceded in death by his parents, Tootie and Betty Kepper, grandson Carl Havard and a sister, Essis Gatlin.
He is survived by his wife, Ola Kepper; sister Ethel Hinton of Zachary, La.; daughters Teresa Havard and Joyce Foster; son-in-laws, the Rev. Burnice Havard and Leo Foster Jr.; grandchildren Karen Breland, Cathy Jones, Eric Neese and Amy Brabson; great-grandchildren Megan Breland, Donny Breland and Tiffany Jones; and numerous nieces, nephews and other friends and relatives.
Visitation will be held at Cannan Assembly of God Church, located at 13602 Highway 613 in Moss Point, from 10 a.m. until service time at noon on Tuesday, December 3, 2002, with the Rev. Rodney Coleman officiating.
Graveside services will follow at 2:30 p.m. Tuesday, December 3, 2002, at the Havard Family cemetery located at their home in Benndale, Miss.

GREEN
Robert J. "R.J." Green Sr., age 76, died Saturday, Nov. 30, 2002, in Pascagoula, Miss. Mr. Green was a lifelong resident of Jackson County. He was born icon June 14, 1926 in Jackson County, Miss. He was a member of Midway United Methodist Church in Moss Point, Miss., a World War II Navy veteran, a former Mason, a member of the Quarter Century Club with IPCO and was retired from IPCO as a supervisor in the maintenance department. Mr. Green was preceded in death by his parents Charles Austin and Ella Elsie Green and his wife, Grace Marie Green.
Survivors include 2 sons and daughters-in-law; Robert J. (Suzanna) Green Jr. of New Bern, N.C., and Kenneth C. (Susan) Green of Moss Point; 1 daughter, Shannon M. Elder of Orange Grove, Miss.; 3 brothers, all of Orange Grove, Warren Green, James "Bear" Green and Tommy Green; 3 sisters, Dorothy Mae Roberts of Grand Bay, Ala., Nattalie Jackson of Grand Bay, Ala., and Elizabeth (Dickie) Carroll of Houma, La.; 8 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and host of other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be Monday, Dec. 2, 2002, from 6 p.m. until 9 p.m. at Holder-Wells Funeral Home in Moss Point.
Funeral services will be Tuesday, Dec. 3, 2002, at 10 a.m. from the funeral home chapel in Moss Point with the Rev. M.L. McCormick officiating.
Burial will follow at the Orange Grove cemetery in Moss Point.

SWAGGERTY
Kenneth Lee Swaggerty, 46, of Lucedale, Miss., died Tuesday, February 25, 2003, at his home. He was born icon August 8, 1956, in Bogalusa, La. Mr. Swaggerty loved country music, and enjoyed repairing automobiles. He was preceded in death by his father, Mr. Melvin Aaron Swaggerty, and his brother, Charles Swaggerty.
He is survived by his wife, Priscilla Pipkins of Lucedale; two sons, Jacob Swaggerty and L. C. Swaggerty, both of Wiggins; a step-daughter and son-in-law, Anna Marie White and Kevin Kloeckener of Mobile, Ala.; two sisters and a brother-in-law, Christine Coleman of Helena, and Gay Nell and Steven Hayes of Gulfport; a niece, Lanette Swaggerty of Perkinston; and numerous other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be Saturday, March 1, from 10 until 11 a.m., at Holder-Wells Funeral Home in Moss Point.
Funeral services will follow at 11 a.m., from the funeral home chapel with the Rev. Aaron Coleman and the Rev. Timothy Maines officiating.
Interment will be held in Orange Grove cemetery in Moss Point.
Pallbearers will be Steven Hayes, Kevin Kloeckener, Curtis Coleman, Christopher Coleman, Aaron Coleman, and Randy Coleman. Honorary pallbearers will be Mr. Swaggerty's two sons.

ALLRED
Douglas Gordon Allred, 52, of Kansas City, Missouri, died Feb. 19, 2003 at his residence. He was born icon June 1, 1950, in Hayleville, Ala.
Mr. Allred was employed as a Safety Director. He was a former resident of Pascagoula, Miss., where he was Plant Manager of the Louis Dreyfus Corp.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Mr. Leonard Gordon and Mrs. Nellie Irene Allred.
Survivors include his brothers, Terry Allred of Saudia Arabia, Don Allred of Gulfport, and a sister, Debbie Williams of Gulfport, other relatives and friends.
Graveside services will be held at 1 p.m., Saturday, March 1, at Machpelah cemetery in Pascagoula, Miss., with the Rev. Joe Spence officiating.

FLOYD
Mrs. Effie May Floyd, 97, of Pascagoula, Miss., died Feb. 24, 2003, at her residence. She was born icon July 28, 1905, in Inverness, Miss. Mrs. Floyd was of Pentecostal faith and a homemaker.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles M. Floyd; sons, John Neal, Jr., Marvin D. Neal and a daughter, Frances Thompson.
Mrs. Floyd is survived by seven daughters, Mrs. Margaret Permenter of Sardis, Mrs. Thelma Alvarez of Memphis, Tenn., Mrs. Libby Crowell of Nesbitt, Mrs. Joyce Wilkerson of Pascagoula, Mrs. Patsy Robinson of Moss Point, Mrs. Carolyn Stockman of Pascagoula and Mrs. Faye Hanes of Moss Point; , a sister, Mrs. Jonnie Simonetti of Pensacola, Fla.; 30 grandchildren; 53 great grandchildren; and 26 great great grandchildren; numerous other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be Friday, February 28, from 12 until 2 p.m. at Holder-Wells Funeral Home in Moss Point.
Funeral service will follow at 2 p.m. from the funeral home chapel with the Rev. Glen Byron officiating.
Interment will be at Jackson County Memorial Park in Pascagoula.
Pallbearers will be Greg Hanes, Andrew Wilkerson, David Neal, Tommy Neal, Jimmy Neal and Ricky Word.

WITHERSPOON
Earnest Wendell "Joe" Witherspoon, 59, of Merrero, La., formerly of Pascagoula, Miss., died February 24, 2003.
Funeral service will be held at Majestic Mortuary, 1833 Oretha C. Haley Blvd., New Orleans, La., at 10 a.m., on Saturday, March 1, 2003.

Matthew James Dottery, Sr.
Matthew James Dottery, Sr. was born icon October 21, 1954 in Natchez, MS to the union of the late Johhny and Mildred Dottery. He departed this life on March 18, 2010 at Singing River Hospital. Matthew was baptized at an early age and was a member of Holy Family Catholic Church in Natchez, MS. He was marred to Diane M. Crosby for 17 years. He was also employed with International Paper for 38 years until closing of the mill, he then moved on to Mississippi Phosphate Corp for 8 years until his health failed.
He leaves to cherish his memories to his wife Diane Dottery, Gautier, MS; son, Matthew James Dottery, Jr of Florida; daughter, Sharonda Dottery, Hammond, LA; stepson, Bishop Reginald D. Crosby, Jr. of Mobile, AL, stepdaughter, Angela D. Crosby, Pascagoula, MS; brothers, Charles Dottery, and Drew (Gloria) Dottery, both of Clarksville, TN; sisters, Claretta (James) Anderson and Bonita (Larry) Woods, both of Natchez, MS; five grandchildren and one great-grandchild; father and mother-in-law, Ervin and Dorthoy Middleton, Evergreen, AL; brothers-in-law, Willie E. Middleton, Jr., Detroit, MI, Ervin Middleton, Jr., John Middleton, Frank Middleton, and Fredrick Middleton all of Evergreen, AL and Calvin Middleton of Acworth, GA; sisters-in-law, Betty J. Spears of Moss Point, MS, Debra Montgomery and Patrica Baite of Evergreen AL, and Gwendolyn Osmans of Saudi, Arabia and a host of other relatives and friends.
Funeral Services will be held 9:00am Tuesday, March 23, 2010 at St. Paul United Methodist Church, Magnolia Street, Moss Point, MS with viewing one hour prior to the service
Interment will be in Pine Hill cemetery, Natchez, Mississippi

HAVARD
Mr. Herbert J. Havard, 86, of Escatawpa, Miss., died Tuesday, Feb. 25, 2003, at his home in Escatawpa.
Mr. Havard was born icon Jan. 23, 1917, in Bendale, Miss.; he was a retired Security Guard from Southern Guard and Magnolia Security.
He was preceded in death by his wife of 44 years, Virgie Olivia Havard, and one son, Jamie Havard.
Survivors include three sons, Gary (Elda Raye Martin) Havard, Escatawpa, David Havard, Pascagoula, Thomas Havard, Escatawpa; two daughters, Ellen (Larry) Acker, and Lisa Havard both of Escatawpa; three grandchildren; and four older children, Avis, Herbert, Dotsie and Clara.
Visitation will be Saturday, March 1, from 1-2 p.m. at Jackson County Funeral Services in Escatawpa.
Funeral Service will follow at 2 p.m. from the Funeral Home Chapel.
Burial will be at Bendale cemetery, Bendale, Miss.

JOBE
Larry Darnell Jobe was born icon Feb. 10, 1951, in Reform, Miss. He was a lifelong resident of Jackson County.
Larry departed this life on Monday, Feb. 24, 2003. He was employed at Northrop Grumman.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Ola Mae Moore.
He leaves to cherish his memories, one daughter, Carlotta DeVille-Jobe; his father, Harvie Moore; two brothers, Harvie Moore, Jr., of Reform, Miss., Micheal (Charlotte) Moore, Clinton, Md.; five sisters, Heggie Oredin, Reform, Miss., Dyann (Lloyd) Sabino, Moss Point, Miss., Mary Manning, Mobile, Ala., Lisa (Gary) Peoples, Fayetteville, N.C., and Karen (Micheal) Armstrong, Ocean Springs, Miss.; a devoted friend, Joann Brown; a host of relatives and friends.
Visitation will be at St. Peter Baptist Church, Pascagoula, on Friday, Feb. 28, from 11 a.m. to 12 noon with funeral services beginning at 12 noon.
Interment will be at Gabriel cemetery, Pascagoula.

MR. RICHARD E. EIGENHEER, 50, of Ocean Springs, Miss., died Feb. 26, 2003. Ocean Springs Chapel of Bradford O'Keefe Funeral Homes, Ocean Springs, Miss.

BURRELL
Grady V. "Pete" Burrell Jr., 70, of Grand Bay, Ala., died Sunday, Feb. 23, 2003, in Mobile Infirmary, Mobile, Ala.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Grady and Pearl Burrell; and two daughters, Elizabeth Ann and Paula Joyce Burrell.
Survivors include his wife, Joyce Burrell of Grand Bay, Ala.; one son, Peter F. "Kimberly" Burrell of Mobile, Ala.; one brother, Curtis "Emma Jean" Burrell of Sallis, Miss.; two sisters, Ruby Parker of Grenada, Miss. and Frances "Bill" Duck of Sallis, Miss.; and two grandchildren, Evan and Bradley.
Graveside service will be Wednesday, Feb. 26, 2 p.m., at Machpelah cemetery, with Father Hugh Maguire officiating.
