Richard Williams, 52, of Moss Point, Miss., Sunrise Aug. 23, 1950. Sunset Jan. 28, 2003. He was a lifelong resident of Moss Point. He was a member of First Baptist Church of Moss Point, Miss. He was preceded in death by his father, Rudolph "Ted" Williams; his grandparents, the Rev. Isaac and Norma Betts and Mr. Richard and Irene Williams. He leaves to cherish his loving mother, Minnie Ruth Williams; wife, Dakota Williams; son, Richard Williams Jr., of Oakland, Calif.; daughter, Angel Davenport of Pascagoula, Miss.; brothers, Harold Williams, Keith (Shirley) Williams of Moss Point, Miss., and Larry Keys of Atlanta, Ga.; mother-in-law, Juanita Edwards of Oakland, Calif.; aunts, Mary (James T.) Roberson, Annie L. Seawright and Bernice Miller, all of Moss Point, Miss., and Louise Jones of Memphis, Tenn.; uncle, James Otis Betts of Moss Point, Miss.; aunt-in-law, Jimmie Burton of Oakland, Calif.; niece, Phyllis Williams; nephew, Marcus Williams; and devoted friends, Jerry and Velma Scudder and Howard Shelton. He graduated from Magnolia High School in 1969. He was a drummer for the Magnolia High School Band, and he continued to be a drummer thought his adult life. He was a Vietnam Veteran, where he served as a Spec-4 and received the Purple Heart from The United States Army in 1971. He was a member of the San Francisco Bay area Blues Society of San Francisco, Calif. Services will be held at the First Missionary Baptist Church of Moss Point with Pastor James O. Harris, on Saturday, Feb. 1, 2003. Rev. D.G. McMillion, pastor of Prophetic Harvest Ministry of Moss Point, will be officiating the services. Viewing will be at noon with the funeral beginning at 1:00 p.m. Interment will be at St. Paul cemetery, Moss Point, Miss. Arrangements by Robinson's Friendly Funeral Home.

BURROWS
Mrs. Frances Eugenia Burrows, 71 of Moss Point, died Tuesday, January 28, 2003 in Pascagoula. She was born icon April 24, 1931 in Moss Point. Mrs. Burrows was a member of East Moss Point Baptist Church, and the Anna O'Neil Chapter #37 Order of the Eastern Star. She was preceded in death by her father and mother, Mr. Van E. and Mrs. Florrie Allen; two sisters, Bobbie Fields, and Mary Lou O'Neil; and a granddaughter, Danielle Baria.
Mrs. Burrows is survived by her husband, Mr. John Burrows of Moss Point; a daughter and son in law, Mary "Nuey" and Tim Andrews of Moss Point; three sons and daughters in law, Mike and Sharon Burrows of Portsmouth, Va., Pat and Janine Burrows of Mobile, Ala., and John Burrows, Jr. of Moss Point; a sister and brother in law, Vera and Billy Killingsworth of Escatawpa; eight grandchildren, Mike Burrows, Jr., Brandon Burrows, Cory Burrows, Allison Burrows, Blair Burrows, Christina Baria, Tyler Thompson, and Sarah Burrows; two great grandchildren, Maggie Baria, and Adrian Baria; and numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be held on Friday, January 31, 2003 from 12:00 noon until 2:00 p.m. at Holder-Wells Funeral Home in Moss Point. Funeral services will follow at 2:00 p.m. from the funeral home chapel with
Rev. Ray McCorkle officiating.
Interment will follow in Griffin cemetery, Moss Point. Arrangements by Holder-Wells Funeral Home, Moss Point.

HONEA
Mr. Jessie Honea, of Pascagoula died, Thursday, January 29, 2003 in Pascagoula, Miss. He was born icon on August 19, 1928 in Abilene, Texas. He was a retired electrician. He was preceded in death by his sister, Dorothy Bunker.
He is survived by Vivian Rea, daughter of Pascagoula, Miss.; Judy Honea, daughter of Oklahoma; Doyle Honea, brother of Montana; Clarence Honea, brother of Montana; Linda Earl, sister of Oklahoma; Grace Poe, sister of Texas; 5 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren, and nieces and nephews.
Memorial services will be held at a later date.
In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Central Church of Christ P.O. BOX 2104 Pascagoula, Mississippi 39569.

ROCKWELL
Thomas Vaughn Rockwell, 74, a lifelong resident of Moss Point, Miss., born icon November 16, 1928, in Mobile, Ala., died January 29, 2003, at home surrounded by his family. He was known best as a Barber, Carpenter, Machinist, Musician, and Master Boat Builder. He was preceded in death by his parents, George T. and Bessie Rockwell; and one grandson, Randy Rockwell.
Survivors include his loving wife of 54 years, Louise Bosarge Rockwell of Moss Point; his children, Linda and Lamar Estis of Gautier, Miss., Steve and Connie Rockwell of Mobile, Ala., Sheila and Ray Medina of Ocean Springs, Miss., Telina Birch and fiancee Kevon Baxter of Pascagoula, Miss.; one brother and sister-in law, Prentiss and Peggy Rockwell of Pascagoula; one sister and brother-in-law, Opal Lee and Ben Shaw of Fouke, Ark.; grandchildren, Marty and Alicia Estis, Zane Estis, Craig and Christi Rockwell, Tracy and Sherri Rockwell, Steven Rockwell, Tiffany Rockwell, Brandi and Chris Foy, Kimmie Medina, Brittany Birch and Briana Birch; great grandchildren, Hunter, Taylor, Randye, Kaitlynn, Mason, Kailee and Krista; numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. As a loving husband, father, grandfather and brother, he will be truly missed by us all.
Visitation will be Friday, January 31, from 6 to 9 p.m. at Holder-Wells Funeral Home in Moss Point. Funeral services will be Saturday, Feb. 1, at 3 p.m., from the funeral home chapel with the Rev. Russell McDonald and the Rev. Tim Cauley officiating.
Interment will be in Machpelah cemetery, Pascagoula. Pallbearers will be his grandsons. Honorary pallbearers will be Damon Garcia and Dustin Cooper.
The family would like to extend a special thanks to Janis Pinion and the staff of South Mississippi Home Health.

SHIELDS
Donna Mae Shields, 63 of Lucedale, Miss., died Tuesday, Jan. 28, 2003. Mrs. Shields was born icon December 28, 1939 in Chicago, Ill. She was a Lucedale resident and an active member of St. Lucy Catholic Church. She was the former president of the Elks Auxiliary 1120, and a member of the Gold Wing Road Riders Association, Chapter "B".
She is preceded in death by her father and mother, John and Mary Dwyer; a sister, Catherine McCann and one great grandchild.
She is survived by her husband, Raymond Shields, Sr.; two sons, Raymond (Debi) Shields, Jr., of Rockwall, Tx., and Bradley (Sabine) Shields, of Haslett, Tx.; a daughter, Laurie (John) Hutchinson of Lucedale; and two sisters, Phyllis Dwyer of Fort Lauderdale, Fla. and Mary Ellen Witkus of Chicago, Ill.; and seven grandchildren and one great-great grandchild.
Visitation will be at St. Lucy Catholic Church in Lucedale, Miss., on Friday, Jan. 31, 2003 from 5-9 p.m. Funeral mass will be held at St. Lucy Catholic Church, Sat., Feb. 1, 2003 at 10:00 am.
Pallbearers will be Jerry Breaux, John Bennett, David Chamberlain, Earl White, James Shields, and Michael Johnson.

COON
Bonnie Louree Raborn Coon, 60, a native of Independence, La., and a resident of Jayess, Miss., died Sunday, Jan. 26, 2003, at Singing River Hospital in Pascagoula. She was preceded in death by her parents, Nolan Edward Raborn and Bessie Pine Raborn Strickland. She was also preceded in death by Dick and Louree Lewis who raised her. She was an All-Star Basketball Player for Kentwood High School during 1957-1960 and a retired Medical Records Assistant for Singing River Hospital in Pascagoula, Miss. She was deeply loved by all of her family and will be greatly missed.
Survivors include her husband, D. V. Coon, Jayess, Miss.; two sons and daughters-in-law, Joseph Denmon Coon and Alahondra Berrara Coon, Laredo, Texas, Douglas Edward Coon and Lori Ann Coon, Jayess, Miss.; five grandchildren, Kelly Ann Coon, Kristina Lynn Barnes, Douglas Ivy Coon, Maria Louree Coon, Joseph D. V. Coon; one great grandchild, Skylar Coon; one sister and brother-in-law, Vergie Mildred Aull and Russell M. Aull, Pascagoula, Miss.; two brothers and sisters-in-law, Denmon Alvin Strickland and Darlene Strickland, Kentwood, Joseph Eugene Estes and Margaret Estes, Kentwood; numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be at McKneely Funeral Home, Kentwood, La., from 6 p.m. until 9 p.m. on Wednesday, Jan. 29, and at Spring Creek Baptist Church, Kentwood, from 9 a.m. on Thursday, Jan. 30, until religious services at 1 p.m. Thursday. Services will be conducted by the Rev. Danny Smith and the Rev. Richard Hagean.
Interment will be in Woodland cemetery, Kentwood, La.

Darryl Jackson
Minister Darryl Jackson, 42 passed away November 5, 2010. He was born icon November 11, 1967 in Pascagoula, MS. He was a lifelong resident of Moss Point, MS
Minister Jackson graduated from Moss Point High School, Class of 1985. He attended Tuskagee University and graduated MGCCC with a degree in Business Management. He was employed at Northrop Grumman for 20 years until he was called home to glory.
Minister Jackson was a devout member of Restoration Revival Center C.O.G.I.C., Moss Point, MS. He was also a devoted member of the Praise Team, Sanctuary Choir, Men’s Choir and Youth Department. Minister Jackson took his charge seriously as stated in Psalms 34:11, Come, my children, listen to me; I will teach you the fear of the Lord. Godly
Darryl was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Zeb and Bertha Jackson; maternal grandparents, Vince Chatman, Sr. and Georgia Mae Chatman; father-in-law, John L. Bovastro, Sr.
He leaves to cherish his memories, his wife of 13 years Lana Jackson; son, Nicholas Bovastro, Moss Point, MS; parents Walter and Beatrice Jackson, Moss Point, MS; Godchildren, Shaqura Glass, Michael Kelly, Aaliyah Gibson, Lundyn Andrews, Chelton Malone, Kaitlyn Green, Nadia and Asia Lawrence; brothers, Jacque Jackson, Malik Jackson both Moss Point; sister, Katura (Christopher) Green, Moss Point, MS; mother-in-law, Lillie Bovastro, Three Rivers, MS; brothers-in-law, John Bovastro, Richmond, VA and Maurice (Carla) Bovastro, Escatawpa, MS; sister-in-law, Letitia (Patrick) Branch, Greenwood, IN; nieces and nephews, Dakista Doby, Amber Jackson, Christian and Kaitlyn Green, Simone Griffin, Kendrick Fairley, Madison Bovastro, PJ, Sydney, Jadence Bolden and Mackenzie Branch; devoted friends, Sonya Dillion, Malcolm Curry, Jr., church family and a host of other relatives and friends.
Funeral Services will be held 12:00pm (Noon) Saturday, November 13, 2010 at Restoration Revival Center C.O.G.I.C, Machpelah Road, Moss Point, MS; viewing will begin at 10:45am from the church.
Interment will be in Machpelah cemetery, Pascagoula, MS

MURCHISON
James Wesley Murchison, 68, of Gautier, Miss., died Sunday, Jan. 26, 2003 in Gautier. Mr. Murchison was born icon January 8, 1935 in New Orleans. He had been employed as a courier with Hancock Bank. He also served 16 1, 2 years in the United States Army and Navy. He was of the Baptist faith. He was preceded in death by his parents, Clarence E. and Velma Lee Murchison.
He is survived by his loving wife, Barbara Bockmair Murchison of Gautier, Miss.; his daughter and son-in-law, Gina and Siegfried Bauml; two grandchildren, Melissa and Michael Bauml all of Richton, Miss.; and nine brothers and sisters.
Visitation will be Wednesday, Jan. 29, 2003 from 12 noon-2pm at the O'Bryant-O'Keefe Funeral Home in Gautier, Miss.
Services will follow at 2 p.m. Wednesday in the Funeral Home Chapel.
Interment will be in Machpelah cemetery, Pascagoula, Miss.

STEWART
Mrs. Ethel Lillie Seal Stewart, 88, a resident of Pascagoula, Miss., since 1941, died Monday, January 26, 2003, in hospice care at the Singing River Rehabilitation and Nursing Home. She had been a resident of Bay Towers Personal Care in Pascagoula since February, 1998. She was born icon March 6, 1914 in Hancock County, Miss. to Lawson Glen Seal and Anne Magnolia Mitchell Seal.
Mrs. Stewart was a 1932 graduate of Kiln High School. In 1963 at the age of 47, after working in several vocations, she fulfilled her life-long dream by obtaining her LPN degree. She followed that in 1965 with certification in the American Registry of Radiological Technologists. She was a practicing x-ray technician at Singing River Hospital and Ocean Springs Hospital, retiring in 1976.
Mrs. Stewart was an expert seamstress and cook, gifted with a quick humor and love of hospitality. With utmost humility, she would declare that her greatest life experience was in knowing Jesus Christ as her Savior. She lived out her faith as a paradigm of Proverbs 31:10-31 - "Who can find a virtuous woman? For her price is far above rubies..." She and her husband were charter members of Woodlawn Baptist Church where she taught the Ladies Bible Class, Bible School classes, sang in the choir and was known for her delicious chicken and dumplings served at church socials.
She was preceded in death by parents; her husband of 50 years, Toxie Joseph Hall Stewart; six brothers, Randolph Cornelius, Elmer, Oren, Earl, and Clarence Seal, and one sister, Irona Spiers.
Survivors include two daughters, Shirley Fleming (John, Jr.) Moss Point; Gayle Garrett (Wayne) Terry, Miss; son, Joseph Farrell Stewart (Earline) Helena; 10 grandchildren, John, III (Donna) and Julie Fleming, Roderick, Joseph (Lisa), David (Robin), James, Michael and Anthony (Tammy) Stewart, Richard and Robin Garrett; 13 great grandchildren; two brothers, Lester and Daniel Seal of Picayune; a host of nieces and nephews; her special friend, Mrs. Roy "Bebe" Fussell, and many others, all of whom knew they were greatly loved by her.
Visitation will be Wednesday, January 29, 6 - 8 p.m. at O'Bryant-O'Keefe Funeral Home, Pascagoula, Miss.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, January 30, at Woodlawn Baptist Church, 2919 Old Mobile Highway, Pascagoula, at 11 a.m., with visitation one hour prior to service; Rev. Wayne McMahan officiating. Interment will follow immediately at Machpelah cemetery, Machpelah Road, Pascagoula.
Her grandchildren will serve as pallbearers, with Woodlawn deacons as honorary pallbearers.
Memorials may be given to Mississippi Alzheimer's Association or Woodlawn Baptist Church.

MILLER
Percy Thomas Miller, 71, passed away in Ocean Springs on Thursday, Jan. 30, 2003.
Mr. Miller was born icon in Columbia, Miss., but moved to Ocean Springs at a young age. He is a graduate of Ocean Springs High School and the University of Southern Mississippi, and served for four years in the United States Air Force.
Mr. Miller was the first administrator of Ocean Springs Hospital and served in that capacity until his retirement in 1991 after 30 years of service with the Singing River Hospital System. Mr. Miller was a member of the Mississippi Hospital Association and the American College of Hospital Administration.
A civic leader, Mr. Miller served as president of the Ocean Springs Rotary Club, where he was named a Paul Harris Fellow, the Ocean Springs Chamber of Commerce, Treasure Oak Country Club and the Administrative Council of St. Paul United Methodist Church. He was named Ocean Springs Outstanding Citizen in 1976. An avid fisherman, he also served as volunteer coach for numerous youth recreational programs in Ocean Springs.
He was preceded in death by his father, Herbert L. Miller, and his brother Jerry Miller, both of Ocean Springs.
He is survived by his wife, Kay Alexander Miller of Ocean Springs; his mother, Ezmer Miller of Ocean Sprints; two sons, Thomas Miller of Ocean Springs and Craig Miller and wife Cathy of Jackson, Miss.; five grandchildren, Karly and Blake Miller of Ocean Springs and Farris, Murray and Tatum Miller of Jackson; two sisters, Virginia Williams and husband, Larry, and Maudie Storie and husband, the Rev. Bob Store, all of Ocean Springs; one brother, Terry Miller and wife, Thelma, of Ocean Springs; sister-in-law, Deborah Miller of Ocean Springs; and a number of nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held from 6 to 9 pm on Saturday, Feb. 1, 2003, at Ocean Springs Chapel of Bradford-O'Keefe.
Services are at St. Paul United Methodist Church on Sunday, Feb. 2, 2003, at 2 pm, with burial following at Evergreen cemetery in Ocean Springs.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to the Ocean Springs Athletic Foundation, P.O. Box 1188, Ocean Springs, Miss. 39566-1188.
