VICE
Morris Eugene Vice, 56, of Lucedale, Miss., died Friday, March 29, 2003, in Lucedale. He was a native of Moss Point, Miss., and lived most of his life in the Helena community.
He was the vice president of Vice Construction Co., Inc., in Moss Point, member of the Mule and Horse Association of Mississippi, member of the Leaf River Mule Association, member of the Jackson County Area Chamber of Commerce, member of the Cow-Pin Creed Riders Association.
He was preceded in death by three sisters, and his twin, Ann Vice Smith, Dorothy "Doodle" Vice and Arlene Vice.
He is survived by his wife, Ollie Vice of Lucedale, Miss.; children, Stacey Vice Berman of Lucedale, Jerry (Joy) Taylor of Lilly Orchard, Miss., and Brett (Gina Green) Taylor of Moss Point, Miss.; his parents, Ollie and Doris Vice; three brothers, Buck (Jean) Vice, Johnny (Callie) Vice and Jimmy (Diane) Vice, all of Helena, Miss.; three sisters, Nita Goff, of Helena, Miss., Jo Ann Mooty of Moss Point, and Darlene (Edie) McIlwain of Mobile, Ala.; grandchildren, Deryck Lewis, Carrie Lewis, Kelsey Lewis, Ashleigh Taylor, Jerry Lee Taylor and Katie Taylor.
Funeral service will be at 2 p.m. today, March 31, 2003, at Holder-Wells Funeral Home, Moss Point, Miss., with visitation two hours prior to the service. The Rev. Alton Stokes will officiate the service.
Mr. Vice's grandsons and nephews will serve as pallbearers.
Interment will be at Evergreen cemetery, Helena, Miss.
Holder-Wells Funeral Home, Moss Point, Miss., is in charge of the arrangements.

COLLINS
Ms. Gail E. Collins, 49 of Alexandria, Virginia was born icon Sept. 24, 1953 in Pascagoula, Miss. Gail departed her life March 21, 2003 in Alexandria, Virginia.
She was preceded in death by a brother, Rodney Collins
She leaves to cherish her memories her father, Willie Collins Sr., of Moss Point; mother, Lucille Dott of Moss Point; two brothers, Willie (Kimberly) Collins Jr., of Triangle, Va. and Edward (Irma) Collins of Ocean Springs; two sisters, Wanda Cook of Colorado and Michelle Collins of Triangle, Va.; two nephews, Quentin Collins and Marcus Collins; one niece, Tai Collins; and a great nephew, Jerell Collins.
Memorial Services will be held from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m., Monday, March 31, 2003 at Millender's Funeral Home Chapel, Moss Point, Miss.
Graveside Services will be 10 a.m. Tuesday, April 1, 2003 in Machpelah cemetery, Pascagoula, Miss.

CLARK
Mr. Hubert Stanson Clark, 83, of Hurley, died Sunday, April 13, 2003, at his home. He was born icon Oct. 29, 1919, in Leaksville, Miss. Mr. Clark was an avid fiddle player, and won many fiddling contests across the southeast United States. He was retired from Ingalls Shipbuilding in Pascagoula, and was a member of Hurley United Methodist Church. Mr. Clark was preceded in death by his father and mother, Mr. Robert Lee and Mrs. Sarah Whatley Clark, and 10 brothers and sisters, Elvin Clark, Jim Clark, Abbie Kennard Dearman, Bertie Babe Brewer, Edna Kennard, Lydia Parnell, Arnold Clark, Stanley Clark, Jerry Clark and Robert T. "Bob" Clark.
He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Ina Katherine Baria Clark of Hurley; three sons, Hubert Earl Clark of Theodore, Ala., Herbert Lee Clark of Hermitage, Tenn., Dwayne Clark and fiancee' Michelle Pfeiffer of Hurley; four daughters and three sons-in-law, Mildred and X.L. Lundy of Tanner Williams, Lucy and Raymond Smith, Jane Burbridge, and Sarah and Gary Dearman, all of Hurley; 14 grandchildren, Stan and Erica Smith, Steve and Erica Smith, Scott and Melita Smith, Regina Burbridge, Wesley Burbridge, Matt Dearman, Mitchell Dearman, Chase Dearman, Braden Pitts, Mike and Becky Lundy, Timothy and Amanda Lundy, Kristen and Jeff Robinson, Genea Morgan, April Pfeiffer, Brian Pfeiffer; and numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, April 15, 2003, from 6 to 9 p.m. at Holder-Wells Funeral Home in Moss Point.
Funeral services will be Wednesday, April 16, at 2 p.m., from Hurley United Methodist Church with Rev. Jim Strum, Rev. Jimmy Holcomb and Rev. Jerry Hamilton officiating.
There will be a one hour visitation in the church prior to service time.
Interment will follow in Coleman cemetery, Hurley, Miss.
Pallbearers will be Gary Baria Jr., John Kenneth Smith, Billy Garris, Earl "Dank" Burbridge, Frank Hamilton and Dickie Chapuis. Honorary pallbearers will be Ivan Hopkins, Floyd Raines, Joseph "Rod" Williams and Edward "Bo" Haygood.

LAWRENCE
Mrs. Alice Lee Maurice Lawrence, 76, of Gautier, died April 13, 2003, at her home. She was born icon Oct. 24, 1926, in Laurel, Miss. Mrs. Lawrence was of the Baptist faith. She was preceded in death by her father and mother, Mr. Ollie Thomas and Mrs. Brooke McDonald Lee.
Mrs. Lawrence is survived by her husband, Mr. J.D. Lawrence of Gautier; two brothers, Henry Lee and Julian Lee, both of Gautier; a sister, Vera Marie Corley of Seminary; and numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends
A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, April 15, 2003, at 1 p.m., from Serene Memorial Gardens in Esca-tawpa with the Rev. Wendell Stork officiating.

MIZELL
Norris Edwinia Hansen Mizell, 80, of Moss Point, died Sunday, April 13, 2003, in Escatawpa. She was born icon Feb. 11, 1922, in Jackson County. Mrs. Mizell was preceded in death by her father and mother, Mr. John Neville and Mrs. Teresa Crane Mizell, and her husband, Mr. Dewey Grady Mizell.
She is survived by two daughters, Rether Mizell of Kodak, Tenn. and Rhonda Jones of Moss Point; and two grandsons, Ricky Cannette and Zachary Jones.
Visitation will be Tuesday, April 15, 2003, from 6 to 9 p.m. at Holder-Wells Funeral Home in Moss Point.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, April 16, at 10 a.m., from the funeral home chapel with the Rev. Wendell Stork officiating.
Interment will follow in Orange Grove cemetery, Moss Point.

WATSON
Mrs. Hazel M. Watson, 65, of Ocean Springs, Miss., died April 12, 2003, at Ocean Springs Hospital. She was a resident of Ocean Springs for the past 40 years and in the food service occupation. She was preceded in death by her son, Donald Watson; parents, Charlie and Flora Mae Braddock; and brother, Robert Braddock.
She is survived by her husband, M. L. Watson of Ocean Springs; son, Ronald Watson of Gulfport; daughter, Theresa Budnick of Ocean Springs; sister, Nora Braddock of Ocean Springs, brothers, Marshall Braddock of Leakesville, Charles Braddock of Biloxi and Jim Braddock of Picayune; and six grandchildren.
Visitation was Monday, April 14, 2003, at Jones Funeral Home, Richton, Miss., with the Rev William Mills and the Rev. R. D. Byrd.
Internment will be in Mulberry cemetery.

DAVIS
Robert Lee Davis, born icon Sept. 12, 1931, died April 4, 2003. Mr. Davis was buried at San Juaquin Valley National cemetery, 32053 West McCabe Road, Gustiene, Calif., on Friday, April 11, 2003.
Arrangements were made through O'Connell's Chapel, 1311 S. El Camino Real, San Mateo, Calif.
He is survived by his mother, Sarah Davis Preston of Big Point, Miss.; two sisters, Genevieve Leathers (Boyce) of Pascagoula, Miss., and Jo Ann Gregory of Mobile, Ala.; two brothers, Robert Eley Davis of Pascagoula, Miss., and Paul Douglas Davis of Big Point, Miss.; three children, Debra Ruemenapp (Martin) of Big Point, Miss., Lisa LeMaster (Thomas) of Big Point, Miss., and Teresa Massengill (Larry) of Gautier, Miss.; eight grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his father, Robert E. Lee Davis; and his son, Richard Arthur Davis.

ARDOIN
Dina T. Ardoin, 90, of Gautier, Miss., formerly of New Orleans, La., died Saturday, April 12, 2003, in Gautier, Miss. She was born icon Feb. 2, 1913 in Ville Platte, La. She was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church in Gautier.
She was preceded in death by her father, Ferdinand Treme; mother, Martha Lafleaur Treme; and brothers, Dennis, Otis and Leonard Treme.
She is survived by her daughter, June Ardoin Bryan, Gautier; son-in- law, Bill Bryan, Gautier; two granddaughters, Michelle Byran Schwartz, Slidell, La.; Kelli Bryan Davis, Gautier; four great-grandchildren, Brooke Elizabeth Shattuck, Slidell, La.; Kristen Danielle Davis, Gautier; Bryan Alton Davis, Gautier; and Nicholas Vincent Schramuzza, Slidell, La.
A memorial Mass will be held at 7 p.m. Wednesday, April 16, 2003, at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Gautier, Miss., with Father Patrick Hayes officiating.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Southern Care Hospice, 14507 Lemoyne Blvd., Biloxi, MS 39532.

LARSEN
Harry Charles "Buddy" Larsen, 80, of Pascagoula, Miss., died Thursday, April 10, 2003, at his home. He was born icon July 30, 1922, in Tuckerman, Ark.
Mr. Larsen was a United States Navy veteran of World War II. He was the retired owner of Superburger in Pascagoula, and a member of Eastlawn United Methodist Church.
He was preceded in death by his father and mother, Mr. Carl Peter and Mrs. Willie Mae Johnson Larsen.
He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Mrs. Ouida Tootle Larsen of Pascagoula, two sons and daughters-in-law, Edward and Marion Larsen of Houston, Texas, and David and Jan Larsen of Wade; two daughters and sons-in-law, Carla and Bobby Neely of Pascagoula, and Janet and T.C. Smith of Sumter, S.C.; four sisters and a brother-in-law, Grace Dobson of Corpus Christi, Texas, Lola Stattler of Belle Plaine, Iowa, Louise and Williard Abbott of Park Rapids, Minn., and Jean Florie of Cave City, Ark.; seven grandchildren, Michael Larsen, Erik and Lori Larsen, Jared Larsen, Justin Larsen, Tammy Neely, Chris Neely, Tiffany Smith; two great grandchildren, Amaya Larsen and Myra Larsen; and numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, April 12, from 6 to 8 p.m., at Holder-Wells Funeral Home in Moss Point.
Funeral services will be Sunday, April 13, at 2 p.m., from the funeral home chapel with the Rev. George Jackson officiating. Interment will follow in Jackson County Memorial Park, Pascagoula. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Eastlawn U.M.C. Building Fund at 2502 Ingalls Ave., Pascagoula, Miss. 39567.

MILLER
Mrs. Pauline Miller, 79, of Pascagoula, Miss., died April 10, 2003, in Vancleave, Miss. She was born icon May 27, 1923 in Pontotoc, Miss. Mrs. Miller had been a resident of Pascagoula since 1944, where she was a member of First Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 60 years, John W. Miller; son, Thomas C. Miller; father and mother, Clelon and Millie Moss; brothers, Modie Moss, Lamar Moss, Ray Moss, Billy Moss, Horace Moss, and a sister, Christine Moss Brown.
She is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, Gary and Marsha Miller of Vancleave; grandsons, Lynn Miller of Pascagoula, Jeremy Miller of Vancleave, Harmon and Tammy Miller of Round Rock, Texas, and Kenneth and Sonya Miller of Gulfport; daughter-in-law, Paulette Miller of Saucier; one great granddaughter, Angelina Miller of Gulfport; sisters, Earline Moss Ferguson of Ecru, and Jerlene Moss Tillman of South Carolina; brothers, Jack Moss of Lucedale, and Jimmy Moss of Vancleave; and numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.
Visitation will be Saturday, April 12, from 6 to 7:30 p.m., at Holder-Wells Funeral Home in Moss Point.
Funeral services will follow at 7:30 p.m. from the funeral home chapel with the Rev. Dennis Ray Smith officiating.
A graveside service will be held on Sunday, April 13, at 2 p.m., from Carney cemetery in Pontotoc.
