Feb. 28, 1936, in Wynne, Ark. Mr. Allen was a United States Air Force veteran having served during the Korean War. He later retired as a millwright from Mississippi Chemical Co. He is preceded in death by his father, Mr. Henry Franklin Allen, and one brother, Henry Franklin Allen Jr.

Dr. Julius John Hayden Jr., age 84, of Pass Christian, died Sunday, Oct. 10, 2004, in Biloxi at Select Speciality Hospital. He is preceded in death by his father, Julius J. Hayden Sr.; his mother, Forrest Lee (Spring) Hayden; and brother, Eugene V. "Buck" Hayden.
McMILLIAN
Mr. Gary Vaughn McMillan, age 43, of Vancleave, Miss., died Wednesday, Oct. 13, 2004, in Ocean Springs. Mr. McMillan was a native and lifelong resident of Vancleave. He was an avid fisherman and photographer. He enjoyed kayaking and spending time on Ship Island. Mr. McMillan was a United States Air Force veteran and most recently was employed with Northrop Grumman Ship Systems as a shipfitter. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Walter and Marie Goff McMillan and maternal grandparents, Freddie and Alice Guillotte Balius.

William McCord Caldwell Sr., 81, born
in Clarksdale, Miss., and a resident of Lottie, Ala., died Friday, Oct. 8, 2004, at Providence Hospital in Mobile, Ala. He was a sales representative for 35 years (retired) with the Coca-Cola Bottling Co. He was a veteran of World War II, having served with the U.S. Army and a member of First Baptist Church in Bay Minette.

Mrs. Lois Elaine Dickson Hicks Crumbaugh, 77, died Oct. 7, 2004, in Biloxi, Miss. She was born
April 6, 1927, in Escatawpa, Miss. Mrs. Lois Hicks Crumbaugh was a member of Leggett United Methodist Church in Biloxi. She was a 1947 graduate of Moss Point High School and attended one year at M.S.C.W. in Columbus, Miss. She graduated from Touro Nursing Schools, received a B.S. degree at Southwestern Louisiana Institute in Lafayette, La. and received her masters of Nursing and Administrators degree at Columbia University at New York.
