Sept. 23, 1939, in Rose Hill, Miss., to Charles and Mary Anderson. He was retired from Litton Data Systems. He attended Perkinston Junior College where he was a Junior College Football All-American in 1958, and graduated from the University of South Alabama where he received a B.S. degree.

Mr. John Adam Ryan Sr., 94, of Pascagoula, Miss., died Saturday, Sept. 25, 2004, at his home in Pascagoula. He was born
Dec. 19, 1909, in Livingston Parish, La., and lived in Pascagoula for 62 years.

Mr. Lester Dale Rainey, 63, died Sept. 23, 2004, at his home of cancer. A native of Agricola, Miss., Mr. Rainey was a resident of Poplarville, Miss.
SANDERS
Juanita M. Sanders, loving mother and grandmother, passed away on Sept. 14, 2004, upon returning from a much anticipated trip to Alaska. Artist, musician and world traveler, Juanita will be remembered for her curiosity, her open spirit, her appreciation of beauty, her kindness and, above all, for her constant love of her family and friends.
BUFORD
Ricky Dewayne Buford, 45, of Lucedale, Miss. He was born
Aug, 3, 1959, in Greenwood, Miss., and was a longtime resident of Jackson and George County. He passed away Tuesday, Sept. 14, 2004, after a long illness. The Lord saw fit to call Ricky home and to end his suffering, as he gave his soul and spirit to the Lord in his final days. Although Rick will be missed by those who know and love him, we are grateful that the Lord ended his suffering and wrapped his loving arms around Ricky as he was met by those who he had loved and had preceded him in heaven.

Mr. Warren Clyde Bettis, 50, of Moss Point was born
March 23, 1954, in Three Rivers, Miss. Mr. Bettis passed on to eternal life in Sept. 20, 2004, at Singing River Hospital. He attended Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College until his health failed. He also worked at Mississippi Power Plant.
DOSTER
Ruby Janice Webb Doster, 91, a longtime resident of Winder, Ga., died at her Bay Towers home in Pascagoula, Miss., Sept. 22, 2004. Mrs. Janice Doster, as she preferred to be called as well as "Nana," was preceded in death by her husband of 50 years, Simuel "Pete" F. Doster Sr. of Winder, Ga.

Mrs. Dorothy Ann Bouckhuyt French, 76, of Ocean Springs, Miss., died Tuesday, Sept. 21, 2004, in Ocean Springs. Mrs. French was born
in Omaha, Neb., and had been a resident of Ocean Springs for the past 21 years.
LONG
Roy Long Jr., 68, of Flint Michigan, passed away unexpectedly on Monday Sept. 20, 2004, at Hurley Medical Center in Flint, Mich. Mr. Long was born
Feb. 18, 1936, in Miss Point, Miss. to Roy Long Sr. and Ernestine Long. He attended First Baptist Church of Moss Point, Miss. in his youth. He attended Magnolia High School where he graduated in 1954. Roy graduated from Tougaloo College in 1962, where he majored in sociology and received a master's degree in social work from the University of Illinois in 1967.
MCLAIN
Mr. Billy D. McLain, age 55, of Vancleave, Miss., died Tuesday, Sept. 21, 2004, in Pascagoula, Miss. Mr. McLain was a native of Wayne County and a resident of Vancleave since 1979. He was the former owner of Bills Auto Electric in Ocean Springs. Mr. McLain was retired from Hammett Auto Electric in Biloxi.

James Keith Norton, 81, of Pascagoula, died Sept. 21, 2004, in Pascagoula. Captain Norton was born
May 11, 1923, in Marquette, Mich. Norton was a graduate of the U.S. Merchant Marine Academy in Kings Point, N.Y.

Mr. John A. "Pokey" Salter, 51, of Pascagoula, Miss. died Friday, Sept. 17, 2004, in Pascagoula, Miss. He was born
on June 30, 1953, in Monroeville, Ala. He was of the Pentecostal faith and a avid fisherman.

Mrs. Clyneas Bowers Thompson, 92, of Moss Point, Miss. departed this life on Monday, Sept. 13, 2004, at Casa de Lola assisted living home. She was born
Jan. 17, 1912, in Mobile, Ala. Mrs. Thompson was a longtime resident of Mississippi making her home in the Moss Point-Pascagoula area in the early 1950s.

July 2, 1927, in Neshoba County, Miss. She worked for 36 years at Sav-Rex Drugs in Deep South Shopping Center. Mrs. Durant was of the Baptist faith.
HEARNDON
Mr. James Ira (Red) Hearndon Sr., 62, of Lucedale, Miss., died Sept. 20, 2004, in Jackson County. He was born
Jan. 31, 1942, in Mobile, Ala. Mr. Hearndon was a retired electrician, IBEW Local 903, in Gulfport. He was of the Holiness faith. Mr. Hearndon served in the U.S. Marine Corps.

Aug. 31, 1919, in Little Rock, Ark., and lived most of her life in Dallas, Texas. She moved to Gautier in 2000 and most recently to the Gardens in Ocean Springs and was of the Baptist faith.
ROBERTS
Mr. Joseph (Joe) H. Roberts, 57, went to be with his Savior on Sept. 15, 2004. Joe grew up in the Franklin Creek Community and was a longtime resident of Mobile, Ala. He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy.
