PERRY
Mrs. Annie Laurie Martin Perry, age 85, of Pascagoula, Miss., died Sunday, March 26, 2006, at her home in Pascagoula where she had resided for over 40 years. She was born
June 5, 1920, in Moss Point, Miss. Mrs. Perry was a retired seafood processor and was of the Baptist faith. She was a loving and devoted mother, grandmother and great-grandmother and will be sadly missed by her family and many friends. Mrs. Perry was preceded in death by her parents, Francis and Lydia Martin; husband of 34 years John Cliffton Perry, Sr.; sister, Nola Mae Culpepper; and brother, Robert Martin.
She is survived by eight children, Frances Linder of Benndale, Miss., Shirley (H.T.) Maxwell of Moselle, Miss., Mary Lee of Pascagoula, Emma (Christopher) Odgers of Bly, Oregon, Laverne Jackson of Grand Bay, Ala., Rosella (Robert) Stroop of Pascagoula, Paulette (William) Hinds of Louisburg, N. C., John Cliffton (Cynthia) Perry, Jr. of Pascagoula, 28 grandchildren; over 60 great-grandchildren; and numerous great-great grandchildren; two brothers, Pete Martin of Pascagoula, and Milford Martin of Piney Woods, Ark.
Visitation will be Tuesday, March 28, 2006, from 6-9 p.m. at Holder-Wells Funeral Home in Moss Point, Miss.
Funeral Services will be Wednesday at 10 a.m. from the funeral home chapel with the Rev. Robert Spicer officiating.
Interment will be at Machpelah cemetery in Pascagoula, Miss.

BEYERS
William T. "Shorty" Beyers, of Helena, Miss., passed away Sunday, March 26, 2006. born
in Marion County, Miss. July 19, 1929, Mr. Beyers was a resident of Kokomo, Miss. before moving to Jackson County in 1964. He served in the Army during the Korean Conflict and served in the National Guard for 19 years. He served as a Boy Scout Master for 20 years. He helped to organize Helena Dixie Youth Baseball and also coached for many years. He was a member of Helena First Baptist Church since 1968 were he was a Sunday School director. He retired from The Mississippi Press in 1995.
He was preceded in death by his father and mother, Bill and Oneida Beyers, and sisters Leana Pearl Stringer, Anita Lee and Virgina Summers. He is survived by his wife of 48 years, Delores Beyers; one son, Greg Beyers; daughter-in-law, Kayla Beyers; three grandchildren, Jessica, Hannah and Josh; one great-grandchild, Brandon "Big B" Beyers; brothers- and sisters-in-law John and Mary Brumfield, Tommy and Linda Ladnier, Mickey Marie Stewart, Jimmy and Jane Johnson, W.T. and Peggy Johnson, Billy and Dana Coon; many devoted nieces and nephews and other relatives along with friends and special friends Clyde and Dot Britt.
Dr. Robbie Howard will officiate the service. Visitation will be from 6 to 9 p.m. Monday, March 27, 2006, at Heritage Funeral Home in Escatawpa, Miss. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday, March 28, 2006, in the chapel at Heritage Funeral Home. Internment will be at Serene Memorial Gardens.
Pallbearers will be David Lee, Mike Matienzo, Marty Stewart, Andy Stewart, Billy Johnson, John Paul Thornhill, Pat Hyatt, Daniel Coon, Jack Coon. Honorary pallbearers will be Jimmy Johnson, W.T. Johnson, Mickey Stewart, John Brumfield, Tommy Ladnier, Billy Coon and Clyde Britt.
Heritage Funeral Home, locally owned and operated, is in charge of arrangements.

Sunshine Lorene Pierce, the manager of Barnhill's in Gautier, Miss., died Sept. 13, 2004. She was 23. Ms. Pierce was a native of Tampa, Fla., and a resident of Moss Point, Miss.
WELLS
Mr. Etheridge Samuel Wells Sr., 89, of Pascagoula, Miss., died Sept. 20, 2004, in Pascagoula. He was born
March 23, 1915, in Jones County, Miss. Mr. Wells was a retired millwright from the Masonite Plant in Laurel, Miss. He was a member of the Ellisville Masonic Lodge.
WILKERSON
Joyce Pierce Wilkerson, 78, of Charleston, Miss., died Sept. 18, 2004. Mrs. Wilkerson was a homemaker.
HERRON
Wanda Mable Herron, a native of Pensacola, Fla. and a resident of Grand Bay, Ala., passed away at an area hospital on Friday, Sept. 17, 2004. She was 76 years old. Mrs. Herron was a homemaker and a member of Church on the Rock in Pascagoula.

Mr. Gerald Devon Parker, 62, of Moss Point, died Monday, Sept. 20, 2004, in Pascagoula. Mr. Parker was born
July 30, 1942, in Lucedale. He was a 1959 graduate of Pascagoula High School and a retired site coordinator from Numanco Nuclear of Oklahoma.

Ruth Elizabeth Collins, 87, of Pascagoula, Miss., died Sunday, Sept. 12, 2004, in Pascagoula. She was born
Sept. 27, 1916, in Meridian, Miss. Ms. Collins was a longtime resident of Heidelberg, Miss., before coming to Pascagoula in 1965. She was also active in the Methodist Church and a member of the Garden Club in Heidelberg. She worked at Cooper's Bakery as a cake decorator for 13 years before retiring. She was previously a member of the Eastlawn Methodist Church of Pascagoula and currently attended the Central Church of Christ in Pascagoula, Miss.

Mr. Johnnie M. Donald, 66, of Pascagoula, Miss., was born
June 13, 1938, in Mount Rose, Miss., to the late Bertha Hye. He departed this life on Sept. 10, 2004, at Singing River Hospital due to long term illness.
