Tommie "Junior" Poole, 79, of George County, Miss., died March 10, 2006, in George County. Mr. Poole was born icon on July 8, 1926, in Neshoba County, Miss., and had lived in Jackson County most of his life before moving to George County. He was a mason with Masonic Lodge #419, Scottish Rite of the Joppa Temple of Hattiesburg. He was retired from Ingalls Shipbuilding as a hull inspector.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Van and Polly Poole; brothers and sisters; and a daughter-in-law, Janice Poole.
Survivors include wife, Estelle Poole of George County; sons, Thomas (Nancy) Poole Sr. of George County, Dale Poole of Pascagoula, Jimmy Ward of George County; daughter, Diane (Lamar) Boren of Meridian; daughter-in-law, Karen Poole of Pascagoula; sisters, Dorothy (Lonnie) Morrow and Judy (Clyde) Wilkerson, both of Moss Point; brother, Billy (Dot) Poole of Mobile; grandchildren, Thomas Jr., Alan, Shawn, Teffany, Shannon, Jason, Rusty, Brandy, Bridget, Hawk, Michael Wayne; 12 great-grandchildren; and many other relatives and friends.
Visitation was from 6 to 9 p.m. Sunday, March 12, 2006, at Heritage Funeral Home in Escatawpa, Miss.
Funeral services will be today, March 13, 2006, from the funeral home chapel, with Rev. James Sanders officiating burial will follow in Salem-Carter cemetery in George County with full Masonic rites. Mr. Pooles' grandsons will serve as pallbearers.
Heritage Funeral Home in charge of arrangements locally owned and operated.

KING
Doretha King, 74, of Moss Point, Miss., died March 11, 2006. Arrangements incomplete at Robinson's Friendly Funeral Home.

L'ECUYER
Michael Kirby L'Ecuyer, 44, passed away March 10, 2006, in Gulfport, Miss. Michael was in Gulfport aiding in the cleanup of Katrina.
born and raised in Fort Worth, he attended Leonard Middle School and Western Hills High School.
His life encompassed many careers as a painter, roofer and sheet rocker.
He is preceded in death by his mother, Joan Kirby L'Ecuyer; his father Lindsay L'Ecuyer, and his brother John L'Ecuyer.
He is survived by his brothers Cmdr. Lindsay "Tink" L'Ecuyer of Diamondhead, Miss., and Robert Miller of Dallas, Texas; sisters Winnie L'Ecuyer of Fort Worth,Texas, and Jan Scruggs of Novice, Texas; nieces, nephews and grand nephew, and many close friends.
Memorial service to be held March 14, 2006, at 10 a.m., Winscott Road Funeral Home, 1001 Winscott Road, Benbrook, Texas.
Bradford-O'Keefe Funeral Home, O'Neal Road, Gulfport is in charge of local arrangements.

MERRITT
Lenora Merritt, age 89, formerly of Pascagoula, Miss., passed away Saturday, Feb. 25, 2006. Lenora was preceded in death by her husband of 61 years, Robert "Bob" Merritt.
She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Patricia and Eugene Weckerly of Arcadia, Calif.; one grandson and his wife, David and Kaley Moore and two great granddaughters, Maloy Moore and Marianne Moore of Valencia, Calif.; one granddaughter and her husband, Kimberly and Ivan Parry and one great granddaughter, Kathryn Parry of Sierra Madre, Calif.; other extended family and many friends.
Graveside service and burial were held Friday, March 3, 2006 in the Wolf Creek cemetery, southwest of Marion, Ill.

RASCO
Elma Triplett Rasco, 58, of Moss Point, Miss., died Thursday, March 9, 2006. She was born icon Aug. 16, 1947 in Louisville, Miss. and lived her life in the Moss Point area for several years. She united with New Faith Missionary Baptist Church in Moss Point, Miss. She was preceded in death by her parents, W.C. Triplett and Clytee Triplett, two brothers, Jerry Triplett and Ira Jean Triplett.
Survivors include her former husband, Albert Lee Rasco Sr. of Chicago, Ill.; son, Albert Lee (Jerolyn) Rasco Jr. of Moss Point, Miss.; daughter, Debra (Daron) Montgomery of River Dale, Ill., and son Antonio Triplett of Moss Point, Miss.; six grandchildren, Latara "Roshell" Rasco, Albert Rasco, Travis Rasco, all of Moss Point, Miss., and D'Lawn Montgomery, Isaiah Montgomery and Destini Montgomery, all of River Dale, Ill.; two brothers, Freddie Triplett of Pascagoula, Miss., and Larry Triplett, of Mobile, Ala.; five sisters, Diane Triplett and Kathy Triplett, both of Houston, Texas, Mildred (Thomas) McNeal of Atmore, Ala., Joyce (Michael) Carter of Dallas, Texas, and Carolyn Triplett of Gautier, Miss; special friend and sister-in-law, Rosa Triplett; and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Visitation will be held Tuesday, March 14, 2006 from 10 a.m. to noon at New Faith Missionary Baptist Church, 4624 Meridan St., Moss Point, Miss. Funeral services will begin at noon from the church. Interment will be in Gabriel cemetery in Pascagoula, Miss. Arrangements by Robinson's Friendly Funeral Home, Moss Point, Miss.

STRINGFELLOW
Infant Kye Stringfellow, born icon Oct. 13, 2005, passed away Monday, March 6, 2006.
He is survived by his parents, Brandon and Julie Pierce Stringfellow of Hurley, Miss., one brother, Gavin Stringfellow of Hurley, Miss.; maternal grandparents: Mavis and Donis Pierce; paternal grandparents: Bobby and Jennifer Stringfellow; maternal great-grandparents: Andrew Vaughan and DeVeta Pierce; and paternal great-grandparents: Duncan and Rosemary Noble, Louise Stringfellow and Bob Stringfellow; maternal aunts and uncles: Darren (Christy) Pierce of Hurley and Justin (Jessica) and daughter Jasmine Pierce of Ocean Springs; paternal aunt and uncle Brandi (Lee) and son Hunter Waltman of Vancleave, Miss.; numerous cousins and other relatives.
Visitation was Friday, March 10, 2006, from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. at Heritage Funeral Home in Escatawpa. Funeral Services will be Saturday March 11, 2006, at 11 a.m. from the funeral home chapel with Rev. Jeff Rhodes officiating.

FELTON
Mr. Jesse Edgar Felton, Jr., 62, died Thursday, March 9, 2006, at his home in Moss Point. He was born icon July 10, 1943 in Braggadocio, Mo. Mr. Felton was formerly employed in the Electrical Department at Ingalls Shipbuilding and was a member of the IBEW Local No. 733 of Pascagoula. He was preceded in death by his father, Mr. J. E. Felton, Sr., his step-father, Mr. John Turner, a brother, Larry Felton and a sister, Faye Smith.
Mr. Felton is survived by his mother, Mrs. Pauline "Polly" Turner of Moss Point, a brother and sister-in-law, Dennis and Peggy Felton of St. Louis, Missouri, three sisters and a brother-in-law, Pauletta and Al Charlton of Escatawpa, Kay Anderson of Pascagoula and Anita Bordeaux of Gulfport, a sister-in-law, Linda Felton of Hickory and numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be Sunday, March 12, 2006, from 12 until 2 p.m. at Holder-Wells Funeral Home in Moss Point. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. from the funeral home chapel with Rev. John Tucker officiating. Interment will follow in Serene Memorial Gardens, Escatawpa.
Active pallbearers will be Eric Rayborn, David Lee Pittman, Rick Berry, Mike Felton, Kelly Felton and Michael Felton.
Honorary pallbearers will be Philip L. Smith, Shane Charlton, Jerry Pierce, Jerry Redmond and Lonnie Ladnier.

ALLEN
Infant Makenzie Grace Allen, went to be with Jesus on Wednesday, March 8, 2006, in Mobile, Ala. She was preceded in death by her great grandparents, Mr. Murray Stokes, Mr. Oscar and Mrs. Arvinese Taylor and Mr. Olin and Mrs. Geraldine Allen.
She is survived by her father and mother, Scottie and Ginger Allen of Forts Lake, her brother, Logan Allen of Forts Lake, grandparents, Rev. Tim and Ruth Cauley of Forts Lake, Paul and Mae Allen of Calvert, Ala.; great grandparents, C.D. and Vanda Cauley and Loistine Stokes, all of Forts Lake; uncle and aunt, Jason and Angie Abston of Forts Lake; and her cousins, Kristin Abston and Olivia Abston, also of Forts Lake.
A graveside service will be held on Saturday, March 11, 2006, at 2 p.m. from W.R. Clark Memorial cemetery in Forts Lake with Rev. Lamar Chapman, Rev. Tim Cauley and Rev. Kenny Morris officiating.

BUNNELL
Mrs. Alice Virginia Bunnell, age 72, of Grand Bay, Ala., died Sunday, March 5, 2006, at her home in Grand Bay. Mrs. Bunnell was born icon in Belzona, Miss., on July 23, 1933. She deeply loved and cherished her grandchildren and great-grandchildren and enjoyed working outdoors in her yard. She was a homemaker and spent many happy hours on Saturdays with her daughter Sandra.
Mrs. Bunnell was preceded in death by her parents, Emmitt and Louise Dear, brother, Eugene Dear, sisters, Mary Nell Decanter and Katherine Guy.
She is survived by her loving and devoted husband of 31 years, J.C. Bunnell of Grand Bay, Ala., son, Aubrey Populus of Mobile, Ala, daughters, Sandra Dulaney of Moss Point, Miss., Mary Nettles of Magnolia, Miss., son, Bryant Foster of Magnolia, Miss., step-sons, Jeff and Phillip Bunnell, ten grandchildren, six great-grandchildren, numerous nieces, ne-phews, other relatives and friends.
A Memorial Service will be held at 2 p.m., Saturday, March 11, 2006, at Holder-Wells Funeral Home in Moss Point, Miss. with the Rev. James Coleman officiating. Friends may call one hour prior to service time.

HARMON
On March 6, 2006, Vickie Renea Wells Harmon made a smooth transition from this life to the next life after a lengthy illness. She was born icon on Dec. 7, 1955, in Moss Point, Miss.
Her roots began in the Three Rivers Community as a baby. She grew up and attended Davis Chapel U.M. Church un-der the guidance of parents and grandparents.
Renea graduated from East Central High School and was formerly employed by Ingalls Shipbuilding Corp., now Northrop Grumman.
Renea's Christian experience afforded her a deeper desire to seek the wisdom and guidance of God through His Holy Word. Her demeanor exemplified what she believed was humility and meekness unto God.
She was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Woodrow (Clay) Roberson, Sr. and paternal grandparents, Henry (Bithia) Wells.
She leaves to cherish her memories to her husband, Andrew L. Harmon, Jr.; one son, Jermaine (Tirea) Pruitt, Columbus, Ga.; three daughters, Temesia (Aurthor) Pruitt-White of Hinesville, Ga., Kimberly Harmon Booth, Anchorage, Alaska, April Harmon of Hinesville, Ga.; mother, Jessie Mae Roberson of Los Angeles, Calif.; parents, Carlton and Maggie Wells of Three Rivers, Miss.; five sisters, Gwendolyn Chapman of Gulfport, Miss., Eartha (Dale) Walton of Los Angeles, Calif., Gloria Benjamin of Los Vegas, Nev.; step sister, Barbara (Wesley) DeFlanders, Three Rivers, and Karen Elaine Wells, Gautier, Miss.; mother-in-law, Mary Lee Perryman of Moss Point, Miss.; one sister-in-law, Sandra Harmon Ely of Moss Point; two brothers-in-law, Michael (Lena) Harmon and Terrance (Deidre) Perryman of Moss Point; a special great-aunt, Theresa Nettles of Moss Point; a devoted aunt, Helen Jones of Three Rivers, Miss.; a special aunt, Alberta Harris of Moss Point; seven grandchildren, Jermaine, Jr., Alana, Taniyah, Tajzion, Darjae, Nadasea, Zyiesha; a devoted friend, Pastor Laura Hurd of Three Rivers Community; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins other relatives and friends.
Viewing will be held from 1-2 p.m., Saturday, March 11, 2006, at Davis Chapel United Methodist Church, Three Rivers Community.
Funeral Services will begin promptly at 2 p.m. from the church with Rev. Willie Hill Jr., officiating.
Interment will be in Davis Chapel cemetery, Three Rivers Community.

JENKINS
In that it has pleased almighty God to call home the soul of our beloved.
Mrs. Ora Barnes Jenkins, 79, of Moss Point, Miss.; we bow in humble submission to the will of God.
She was born icon May 8, 1926, in McComb, Miss., to the late Benjamin Barnes and Alma Richards Barnes.
She confessed Christ early in life, was baptized in the Rose Hill Baptist Church in Mc-Comb, Miss. After moving to Moss Point in 1947, she united with the membership of First Missionary Baptist Church, Moss Point. Mrs. Jenkins remained a faithful member until her health began to fail. She served on the usher board for over 40 years and was Pastor James O. Harris' personal usher. Mrs. Jenkins also was a member of the George Washington Carver Heroines of Jericho Court # 140 and a lifelong member of the NAACP.
Mrs. Jenkins worked for Dr. Charles H. Allen for many years but she was not only an employee, she bonded in a special family unit with Dr. Allen of Moss Point, and his son, Houston Wiley (Mary) Allen of Atlanta, Ga.
She was preceded in death by her brothers, Edwards Barnes, Dearie Barnes; sisters, Gladys Barnes Baker, Earnestine Barnes Simmons, Edna Barnes Moses and Mary Bar-nes.
She leaves to celebrate her homegoing to a devoted daughter, Mary Carter Mims of Moss Point; two grandchildren, Rhad F. Carter IV of Gautier, Miss. and Roland M. (Fashaundra) Mims of Vicksburg, Miss.; two great-grandchildren, Rhad F. Carter V of Miami, Fla., and Joy K. Mims of Vicksburg, Miss.; three brothers, Sam Barnes, Chicago, Ill., and Howard (Mary) Barnes of Moss Point; stepchildren, Catherine (Dewitt) Turner, Lake Elsinore, Calif., Donnis (Terry) Ball and Dorothy (Jewel) Johnson both of Columbia, Miss.; two special nieces, Mable (Dempsey) Owens of Moss Point and Shirley (Clarence) Hicks of Montgomery, Ala.; a very special cousin, Rosie Lee Johnson of Moss Point; a special family friend, Willie W. Denson, Sr. of Moss Point; a god sister, Barbara Jo Payne of Moss Point; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
Viewing will be held from 9-10:30 a.m. Saturday, March 11, 2006 at First Missionary Baptist Church, 4600 Main St., Moss Point, Miss.
Funeral Services will begin promptly at 10:30 a.m. at the church with Pastor James O. Harris, officiating.
Interment will in First Baptist cemetery, Escatawpa, Miss.
