Lorraine Lehman Allen, 63, of Biloxi, died Monday, December 12, 2005 in Biloxi. Mrs. Allen was a native and lifelong resident of Biloxi. She was a retired bus driver with Biloxi Public Schools. She was a member of Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Church.
Mrs. Allen was preceded in death by her husband Robert J. Allen, Sr.
Survivors include her daughter Pamela Rose Allen Burton Guidry and her husband Ted Guidry of Biloxi, her son Robert J. Allen, Jr. of Biloxi and his wife Peggy Ann Allen, 2 sisters Myrna Williams of Vancleave and Charlotte Franklin of Latimer, 2 brothers Albert Lehman of Biloxi and Gabriel Lehman of Baton Rouge, and 4 grandchildren Floyd Shannon Burton, III, Shantel Marie Burton, Harley Walter Guidry, and Savanna Rose Allen.
Services will be private. Pass Road Chapel of Bradford-O'Keefe Funeral Home in Biloxi is in charge of arrangements.

Mark Deck Anderson
Died on August 29, 2005.

Mark Deck anderson, 52, of Biloxi died Monday, August 29, 2005 in Biloxi. Mrs. Anderson was a native of Concord, CA and had been a resident of Biloxi for over 35 years. He was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Gulfport. He was an avid ham radio operator with the call sign KA5DXY.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Myron and Dorothy Deck Anderson.
Mr. Anderson is survived by two brothers, David Anderson and his wife, Joyce of Saucier and Robert Anderson and his wife, Cynthia of Novato, California. and three nieces, Nancy Burton (Joey), Jeanette Brown (Bill), and Shaunna Anderson, and one nephew, Robert Anderson.
There was a graveside service held on Tuesday, October 18, 2005 in Evergreen Gardens in Gulfport.
Bradford-O'Keefe Funeral Home, O'Neal Road, Gulfport is in charge of arrangements.

Travis Allen
Died on January 17, 2005.
Mr. Travis Henry Allen, 61, of Biloxi, MS died Monday, January 17, 2005 in Biloxi. Mr. Allen was a lifelong resident of the Coast, where he worked as a commercial fisherman. He was of the Catholic faith. Mr. Allen was preceded in death by his parents, George and Eleanor Allen, four sisters, and five brothers. He is survived by his wife, Charlene Kelly Allen of Biloxi, MS; two stepdaughters, Michele Bittner of Pittsburgh, PA, and Cheryl Trigg of Biloxi, MS; two stepsons, Robert Micale and James Micale, both of Pittsburgh, PA; three sisters, Audrey Allen Breal of Biloxi, MS, Edith Allen Polovich of Biloxi, MS, and Eleanor Allen Waller of Junction City, KS; and four grandchildren.
Private services will be held at a later time. The Howard Avenue Chapel of Bradford-O'Keefe Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Brittney Jade Andrews

Brittney Jade Andrews, 23 months, of Picayune, MS died Monday, June 27, 2005 in New Orleans.
Brittney was preceded in death by her grandfather J.Y. Cowart and great-grandfather Douglas R. Thomas.
Survivors include her mother Crystal Marie (Cowart) Andrews and her father Ricky Neal Andrews, sisters Kayla M. Unbehagen, Katlyn M. Andrews, brother Peyton N. Andrews, maternal grandparents Barbara A. & Robert B. Cowart, paternal grandparents Della & Johnny Taznous, aunts Chasity L. Burnett, Skye Cowart, Tammy R. Serpas, Lori M. Shaw, Donna J. Vick, Tammy Moran, uncles Roger L. Phelps, Jason Serpas, Curtis Vick, Charles Burnett, great-grandmother Betty Cowart, and great-great-grandmother Donna Jones.
Visitation will be 5:30-7:00 PM, Thursday, June 30, 2005 at Orange Grove Chapel of Bradford-O'Keefe Funeral Home, O'Neal Road. Service will be 11:00 AM, Friday at the funeral home chapel. Burial will be at Finley cemetery in Gulfport.

Mary Traylor Alexander

Mary Traylor Alexander, 97, of Long Beach, MS died on Sunday, April 11, 2010. Mary was born icon on January 16, 1913 in Pinola, MS. She began work in Gulfport as a Title Abstractor in 1947 and continued her career in various positions until she retired from the Chancery Clerk's office in Gulfport in 2003 at the age of 90.
Mary is preceded in death by her husband, Robert Aubrey Alexander; parents, John and Connie Lazenby Traylor.
She is survived by her daughter, Patricia Wood (Charlie) of Pass Christian; step-son, Tom Alexander (Donna) of Gulfport; grandchildren, Steve Wood (Lisa), Richie Wood and Becky Wood-Lassabe (Ken) all of Long Beach; great-grandchildren, Alex and Sam Wood of Long Beach.
The family gives special thanks to Canon Hospice which cared for Mary during her final days and considers them to be part of the extended family.
Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, April 20, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. at the 15th Street Chapel of Bradford-O'Keefe Funeral Home, Gulfport. Friends may visit from 10:00 a.m. until service time. Interment will follow in Long Beach City cemetery.
In lieu of flowers the family prefers that donations be made to the Humane Society of South MS, 2615 25th Ave., Gulfport, MS 39501.

Fay Breyer Adams

Mrs. Fay Williams Adams, age 62, of Ocean Springs, MS died Saturday, September 26, 2009, in Pascagoula, MS.
Fay was born icon on February 4, 1947, in Meridian, MS. She was a 1965 graduate of Meridian High School, a member of the "Dusty" sorority and attended USM in Hattiesburg. After Fay moved to Pascagoula, she became involved in the Pascagoula Little Theater and performed in such plays as "Grease" playing Rizzo, "Equus", "Godspell", "What the Butler Saw" and "Chicken Every Sunday". Fay really enjoyed the theater and loved performing. She won the 1985 Biloxi Little Theater Bravo Award for Best Actress in a major role in "See How They Run". Her family will miss her sense of humor.
She was preceded in death by her father, Morris C. Williams of Meridian and Hattiesburg, her grandparents Joseph S. and Lucille Camp Breyer of Meridian and Frank W. Williams, Jr. of Meridian.
Survivors include her mother, Nell Breyer Watts of Ocean Springs, formerly of Meridian, her step-mother, Louisa B. Williams of Hattiesburg, daughter, Michelle Adams Carter, son, Christopher Jay Adams and daughter-in-law Rachelle, two sisters, Jude Williams Howell (Steve) of Ocean Springs and Lucy Williams Martin (Doug) of Brunswick, ME. She is also survived by three grandchildren, Ariel Carter Charlton (Allen) and Patrick Tyler Cox of Pascagoula, Sophia Ray Adams of Columbia, SC one great-grandson, Allen H. Charlton, Jr. of Pascagoula, two nieces, two nephews and four great-nieces.
On Tuesday, September 29, 2009, there will be a 2 PM graveside service in Crestlawn Memorial Park.
The Ocean Springs Chapel of Bradford O'Keefe Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Velma Marie Adams Hebert

Velma Marie Adams Hebert, 85, died Tuesday, August 25, 2009.
Velma was a native of Lockport, LA and a resident of Biloxi. Velma was a great homemaker and took care of all her children and grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 60 years, Adam Joseph Hebert, parents, Clailborne Joseph and Lucy Adams, brother, Esnaire Adams, sisters, Thelma Adams, Emily Eschete and Doris Butcher.
Survivors include sons, Harry James Hebert of Biloxi, Adam W. Hebert of St. Martin, Michael A. Hebert of Biloxi, daughters, Velma "Cookie" (Mike) Chester of Biloxi, Tanya R. Hebert of Biloxi, Kay A. Hebert of Biloxi, Jennifer M. (Raymond) Davis of St. Martin, brothers, Jessie Adams of Lockport, LA, Edward Adams of Westwego, LA 14 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren, 1 great-great-grandson.
Visitation is Thursday, August 27, 2009, 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at the Howard Avenue Chapel of Bradford-O'Keefe Funeral Homes, Biloxi. There will be a Graveside Service Friday, August 28, 2009, 10:00 a.m. at the Biloxi National cemetery.

Mary Anderson

Mrs. Mary Eloise Davis Anderson, 69, of Ocean Springs, MS died Saturday, January 1, 2005, in Ocean Springs
Mrs. Anderson was a native of Eudora Arkansas and had been a longtime resident of the coast. She was the owner/operator of a personal care home in Ocean Springs and a member of St. Elizabeth Seton Catholic Church.
She was preceded in death by a son, Roy Pierce, Jr.; her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Clint Davis; a grandson, Jonathon Hewett; two sisters and a brother.
Survivors include three daughters, Sherry Grimes and husband, Mike; Robin Stewart and Geila "Sissy" Windham and husband, Glenn all of Ocean Springs; four sons, Wayne Hewett and his wife, Sandra of Vancleave; Warren Hewett, Mike Hewett and Steven Stewart all of Ocean Springs; a sister, Faye Davis Nelson of Lucedale, MS; fourteen grandchildren, Mary Ann Cotten and her husband, Michael; Johnny Hewett, Richard Hewett, Rachael Hewett, Billy Hewett, Jr., Nicole Hewett, Daniel Clifton, Aaron Grimes, Houston Grimes, Justin Stewart, Patricia Stewart, Shaina Abshire, Priscilla Windham and Joseph Windham, Jr. and 4 great-grandchildren, Christopher Cotten, Hayden Jones, Abby Hewett and Kristen Hewett.
Visitation will be Monday, January 3, 2005, from 6 to 9 p.m. at Bradford-O'Keefe Funeral Home in Ocean Springs with a 7 p.m. Rosary. Mass of Christian Burial will be held Tuesday at 11 a.m. at St. Elizabeth Seton Catholic Church where friends may visit one hour before service time. Entombment will follow in Crestlawn Memorial Park.

Sara Jane Arnold

Sara Jane Threet Phillips Arnold, 85, of Saucier died Thursday, December 4, 2008 in Biloxi. Mrs. Arnold was born icon in Manassas, GA to Marvin and Mae Threet on March 17, 1923. Jane grew up in Rincon, GA most of her life. She grew up as a true southern belle that had lots of class. She loved the land and always had a beautiful yard and garden. She worked as a manager of 7-11 food stores until she retired. After surviving a stroke in 2006 she moved to Saucier to live with her son and family. In her last few years she has enjoyed spending time with her family especially her great-grandchildren and great great-grandchildren. She has left us and though we cannot visually see her, she has touched all our hearts and we will see her again one day.
Mrs. Arnold was preceded in death by her parents; her husband of 44 years, Robert Arnold (2001); siblings Bessie, Emma, Mary, Arthur, Albert, and Buford; and two wonderful companions Scottie and Skippy.
She is survived by her only child and his wife, Tommy and Betty Phillips of Saucier, MS; six grandchildren, Sheri (Terry) Cutter of Saucier, MS, Guerry (Susan) Phillips of Savannah, GA, Teresa Edney of Melburn, FL, Kim (Glen) Chatham of Biloxi, MS, Tommy (Louise) Bedenbaugh of Augusta, GA, Jerry (Amanda) Bedenbaugh of Johanna, SC. She also is survived by 13 great-grandchildren and 6 great great-children that will miss her very much. She will be sorely missed by her good friend Mildred Hughes of Saucier, MS.
Visitation will be Sunday, December 7, 2008 from 5pm to 7pm at Bradford-O’Keefe Funeral Home on O’Neal Road in Gulfport. Service will be Monday at 2pm in the funeral home chapel. Interment will be in Success Baptist Church cemetery. The family request donations to The American Cancer Society, 417 Security Square, Gulfport, MS 39507.

Ingrid Woehrl Andrews

Ingrid Woehrl Andrews, age 79, died Wednesday, August 6, 2008 at Keesler Medical Center.
A Biloxi resident since August 1969. Mrs. Andrews was born icon November 23, 1928 in Weiden, Germany and moved to Munich as a child. There she met and married icon MSgt. Arlington "Chuck" Andrews in 1950 and began her career as a loving and devoted mother and well traveled military wife. From war torn Germany to Illinois and Texas, from Paris to the Civil Rights Movement in Montgomery, AL, to being initiated into coastal life by Hurricane Camille, Mrs. Andrews greeted every moment of her life with grace, wit and humor. A proud mom of three sons, a beloved grandma of six children, she happily spent her later years enjoying her family, her many friends, her numerous artistic hobbies and her work as a Red Cross volunteer. Her strength, compassion and laughter will forever be remembered and admired.
Mrs. Andrews was preceded in death by her husband, Arlington "Chuck" Andrews; parents, Hans and Pauline Woehrl and a brother Horst Woehrl.
She lives on in the hearts of those she left behind; sons, Mike Andrews of North Wales, PA, David Andrews and wife Marion of Ocean Springs, Steve Andrews and wife Shonna of Ocean Springs; grandchildren, Josh, Tim, Spencer, Greg, Adian and Ava; a brother, Bernhard Woehrl of Germany; a cousin, Helga Horner of Germany and a wealth of extended family and cherished friends.
Visitation is Tuesday, August 12, 2008, 8:30 a.m. until 10:00 a.m. Service will be at 10:00 a.m. at the Pass Road Chapel of Bradford-O'Keefe Funeral Homes, Biloxi. Interment in Biloxi National cemetery.
The family would like to express their sincere appreciation to the staff of Mobile Infirmary, Green Briar Nursing Home and Keesler Medical Center for their care and support. A special thanks to Dr. Michael A. Finan of Mobile.
