Gustav Altman, age 73, of Saucier, died Saturday, October 7, 2006 in Saucier. He was a native of Michigan and had been a resident of Saucier for the last eleven years. Mr. Altman retired from General Motors after 30 years and was then the owner-operator of Trees'Rus. He was Lutheran.
Mr. Altman was preceded in death by his parents, Edward and Rachel Altman; and a sister, Louise altman
He is survived by his wife, Maria Altman of Saucier; two daughters, Teresa Peppers and Debra Altman, both of Flint, MI; two step-daughters, Jeannie Garcia of Saucier and Monica Altman of Flint, MI; a son, Jeffrey Altman of Gulfport; four step-sons, Ronald Altman and Jeremy Altman, both of Saucier, John Altman and Kevin Altman, both of Flint, MI; a brother, Herman Altman of Michigan; six grandchildren,Alexander Haas, Rachel hass, Brooke Coppy, Joshua Cross, Amber, and Curly; and one great-grandchild, Natalie Coppy.
The memorial service will be held Wednesday, October 11, 2006 at 4:00 p.m. at Bradford-O'Keefe Funeral Home, O'Neal Road, Gulfport.

Ted James Allen, Jr
born on February 28, 1959

Mr. Ted J. Allen, Jr., age 47, of North Biloxi, MS., died Sunday, September 3, 2006, in Biloxi, MS.
Mr. Allen was a longtime resident of the community and was a security officer for Swetman Security for a number of years.
He was preceded in death by his father, Ted J. Allen, Sr., and grandmother, Olivia Carroll.
Survivors include his mother, Barbara Carroll Allen, and sister, Barbara Stanley, both of North Biloxi, MS., cousin and friend, Janet Toche and a number of other cousins.
Visitation will be on Wednesday, September 6, 2006, from 2-3 PM, with a 3 PM chapel service, all at the Howard Avenue Chapel of Bradford O'Keefe Funeral Home. Burial will follow after the funeral service.

James Acreman

Mr. James "Leroy" Acreman, 81, of Ocean Springs, died Saturday, August 12, 2006, in Ocean Springs.
Mr. Acreman was born icon in Crenshaw County, Alabama and had been a resident of Jackson County for the past 51 years. he was retired from the State of Mississippi as a bridge tender.
Mr. Acreman was preceded in death by his wife, Buford Money Acreman; his parents, Jesse E. and Georgia Petty Acreman, and three sisters, Corine Cornett, Olean Dean Moss and Inez Thaggard. Survivors include his daughter, Patsy Foreman, and her husband, Ken, of Ocean Springs; three grandchildren and nine great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday, August 15, 2006, at 10 a. m. at Bradford-O'Keefe Funeral Home in Ocean Springs where friends may visit one hour before service time. Interment will follow in Antioch Methodist Church cemetery in Benndale, MS.

Florence "Rose" Senka Anderson

Florence "Rose" Senka Anderson, of D'Iberville, died Tuesday, June 6, 2006 in Biloxi. Mrs. Anderson was a longtime resident of the Gulf Coast. She was a member of Bethel Lutheran Church of Biloxi and Daughters of the Nile. She was a tambourine player with the Sandpipers.
Mrs. Anderson was preceded in death by her husband, Gus L. Anderson and her parents, Peter and Mary Senka.
Survivors include her cousin, Emily Purdy of Runnemede, NJ and several nieces and nephews.
Service will be 10:00 AM, Thursday, June 8, 2006 at Bradford-O'Keefe Funeral Home, Pass Road in Biloxi. Interment will be in Fairview, NJ. In lieu of flowers the family prefers memorials be made to Bethel Lutheran Church Building Fund, 2521 Pass Road, Biloxi, MS 39531.

Morris Adams

Mr. Morris Adams, Sr., age 86, of Biloxi, MS., died Saturday, June 17, 2006, in Brookhaven, MS.
Mr. Adams was a resident of the community for 56 years. He formed the local Biloxi Chapter of the American Federation of Government Employees, Local #2670, and was the past president.
He was preceded in death by his wife of 60 years, Katherine Adams, his parents, Benjamin and Mary Ann Adams, sister, Helen Moncrief, and three brothers, Howard Adams, Benjamin Adams, and Lewis Adams.
Survivors include a daughter, Jan Cantrell of Brookhaven, MS., two sons, Morris (Sue) Adams, Jr. and Mark (Tammy) Adams, all of Ocean Springs, MS., four sisters, Edna Bowman and Hazel Driggers, both of Magnolia, AR., Betty Chalfant of Cleveland, OH, and Jewel Walker of Magnolia, MS., a brother, Tommy Eugene Adams of Texarkana, AR., eight grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
On Saturday, June 24, 2006, there will be a Memorial Visitation from 5-7 PM in the Ocean Springs Stateroom of Bradford O'Keefe Funeral Home.

Edna Adolphson
born on December 28, 1918

Miss Edna Mae Adolphson, age 87, of Biloxi, MS. died Wednesday, February 8, 2006, in Ocean Springs, MS.
Miss Adolphson was a lifelong resident of the community and worked for Kimbrough-Quint drug store in Biloxi for many years. She enjoyed Mardi Gras, sightseeing on weekends, taking her grand nephews to amusement parks, and conversing with her many friends on the telephone.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Edward and Adeline Adolphson and three brothers, Edward Adolphson, Albert Adolphson, and James Adolphson.
She is survived by a sister-in-law, Avis Adolphson of Biloxi, MS., a niece, Faye (Ralph) Balius of Biloxi, MS., four grand nephews and a grand niece, and thirteen great-grand nephews and nieces.
Visitation will be on Friday, February 10, 2006, from 9-11 AM, with an 11 AM Mass of Christian Burial, all at Nativity B.V.M. Cathedral in Biloxi. Burial will follow in Biloxi City cemetery.
The Ocean Springs Chapel of Bradford O'Keefe Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Kirby Allen

Kirby "K.V." Allen, age 86 of Ocean Springs passed away on Friday, January 13, 2006 in Biloxi.
Mr. Allen was born icon in Millport, AL on October 2, 1919. He was a resident of the coast for 47 years, and served in the U.S. Army during WWII. He became a State Trooper with the Mississippi Highway Safety Patrol, and retired after 20 years of service. Mr. Allen then worked at the Seabee Base in Gulfport as a Security Officer until his final retirement in 1976. He was a member of many civic organizations, including lifetime member of DAV Chapter 17, McLeod Lodge 424 F&AM;, OES Chapter 394, Scottish Rite Bodies (32nd Degree), The Shriners, and Joppa Temple. Other organizations include the Mississippi Law Enforcement Officers Assn., and the Mississippi / Tennessee Law Enforcement Officers Assn. Mr. Allen was a member of St. Alphonsus Catholic Church in Ocean Springs.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Elbert and Myrtle Allen, a brother, Lloyd Allen, and a sister Mary Hathcock.
He is survived by his wife of 45 years, Joan Ladner Allen, two sons, Douglas Eugene (Phyllis) and Kevin Vernon (Margie) Allen, one daughter, Sheila Joanette (Steve) Evangelista, two granddaughters, Priscilla Joanelle Evangelista and Courtney Rae Allen, two grandsons, Patrick Kevin and Bryan Wesley Allen, and one great-grandson, Landon Allen Evangelista, all of Ocean Springs. Also surviving are many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be on Friday, January 20, 2006 from 12:00 noon until 2:00 pm at the Ocean Springs Chapel of Bradford O'Keefe Funeral Homes. Funeral services will begin at 2:00 pm in the funeral home, with burial at Martin - Ryan cemetery in the St. Martin Community. There will be full Mississippi Highway Patrol Honors.

Greg R. Andrews

Mr. Greg R. Andrews, age 48, of Ocean Springs, MS., died Saturday, December 3, 2005, in Ocean Springs.
Mr. Andrews was a lifelong resident of the community and a twenty year employee of Northrup Grumman. He loved his dog, Rusty, and was loved by his many good friends and co-workers.
Mr. Andrews was preceded in death by his parents, James and Faye Andrews.
Visitation will be on Wednesday, December 7, 2005, from 10 AM - 11 AM, with an 11 AM chapel service, all at the Ocean Springs Chapel of Bradford O'Keefe Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Crestlawn Memorial Park.

Morris C. Arguelles, Sr., 84, of Biloxi died 8/18/05. Services will be 8/22/05 at 1 pm at Howard Ave Bradford-O'Keefe where friends may visit from 10am until service time. Burial in The Biloxi National.
