Brenda Kay Williams, 51, of Gautier, Miss. went to be with her heavenly Father April 11, 2007 to a land free from all tears, where joy becomes eternal and time is not counted by years.
Mrs. Williams was preceded in death by her father David McDaniel.
Left to cherish her memories are her husband Daniel Williams, three daughters Carissa Nicole (Dale) Steen, Shannon Darlene (Ben) Maxwell, Maria Danielle (Jeffery) Cooper, her mother Vella Marie Goff McDaniel, four brothers; David Earl McDaniel, George McDaniel, Dennis McDaniel and Jerry McDaniel, four grandchildren; John Arron McDonald, Colt Maxwell, Stacey Maxwell and Kaeli Maxwell, also her grandmother Vivian Sanders and numerous uncles, aunts, nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be Thursday April 12, 2007 from 6-7 p.m. at Heritage Funeral Home in Escatawpa, Miss.
Funeral services will be Friday April 13, 2007 beginning at 11 a.m at Heritage Funeral Home, with the Rev. Don Edecker officiating.
Heritage Funeral Home of Escatawpa is in charge of arrangements, locally owned and operated.

BEYER
Mrs. Glenda (Maw-Maw) Beyer age 68 of Moss Point, Miss. died Friday April 6, 2007. born icon March 6, 1939 in Pascagoula, Miss. to Floyd "Bud" and Emma "Do" Bosarge Hunnings, she lived in and around Pascagoula most of her life. She was a graduate of Our Lady of Victories Catholic High School, and a member of the Catholic faith. She loved dogs, working on her computer, and collecting angels. At the time of her death, she was working for Smokey's Tobacco. She will be missed by all who knew her.
Mrs. Beyer was preceded in death by her parents Emma "Do" Hunnings, Floyd "Bud" Hunnings, and Horace Hilliard, a brother Samuel Hilliard, a sister Betty Hilliard, and a sister-in-law Wilma Hilliard.
Among her survivors are her husband Wayne Beyer of Moss Point, her children Mona Miller, Michael Redmond and his wife Jackie, Susan Timmerman and her husband Karl, Julius "Jay" Redmond; her grandchildren Samantha Hunter (Clay Montiforte), Brad Miller (Brook), Scottie Miller (Sweetie), Zackary Redmond, Nicole Couch (Bobby) Catherine Redmond; great-grandchildren Jessica Stroop, Kailey Hunter, Gage Miller, Carmen Miller, Ty Miller, Brandon Miller, Brianna Miller, Natalie Couch; sister-in-law and brother-in-law Sandy and John Lemke.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday April 12, 2007, from the Chapel of O'Bryant-O'Keefe Funeral Home with Father Louie Lohan officiating.
Interment will follow at Jackson County Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Wednesday April 11, 2007, at the funeral home. Those unable to attend may register online at www.obryantokeefe.com. Services are under the direction of O'Bryant-O'Keefe Funeral Home of Pascagoula.

SHARP
Savada Sanches Sharp, 57, of Pascagoula, Miss., departed this life on Monday, April 9, 2007, at her residence. She was born icon on Nov. 21, 1949, in El Centro, Calif. Savada was a resident of the Gulf Coast for 37 years, and was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church.
She is preceded in death by her son, Larry A. Sharp; parents, Albert and Elvira Sanches; and brother Salvador Sanches.
She is survived by her husband Larry D. Sharp of Pascagoula, Miss.; one son, Richard P. (Julia) Sharp, Hampton, Va.; one sister, Midella Diaz of Mexico; three grandchildren, Gavin Anthony Sharp, Pascagoula; Evan Alen Sharp and Sophie Diana Sharp, both of Hampton; other relatives and numerous friends.
A memorial service will be held in the Chapel of Coastal Funeral Home, Thursday, April 12, 2007, at 11 a.m. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.

NELSON
Irma Lois Nelson, 81 of 134 West Fire Department Road, Lucedale, Miss, died Sunday, April 8, 2007, in her home, Lucedale.
born in Hattiesburg, Miss., she was the daughter of the late Jessie J. and the late Pearl Jane (Hensarling) Odom.
Mrs. Nelson was a teacher for 39 years, teaching in Perry County, Jones County, Greene County and George County, Miss. She was a columnist for many years with the George County Times. In her spare time Mrs. Nelson was an avid gardener.
She retired from teaching while employed by George County School System.
Mrs. Nelson was a member of Agricola Baptist Church, George County Retired Teachers, Friends of the George County Library and the MEA.
Survived by four sons; Dan (Janice) Nelson of Camorillo, Calif., David (Brenda) Nelson of Lucedale, Donald (Nancy) Nelson of Gautier, Miss., Darwin (Dana) Nelson of Lucedale, granddaughters, Pam (Randy) Phillips; Deanna (Jerry) Loper; Denise (Greg) Welborn; grandson, Timmy (Lisa) Nelson; granddaughters, Krista (Daniel) Fox; Amanda (Joey) Williams; Kimberly Nelson; grandson, Davey (Nancy) Nelson; granddaughter, Paige Nelson; grandsons Brett Nelson, Matthew Nelson; Jared Fagan; Joshua Nelson; granddaughter, Loni Fagan; grandson, Rory Nelson; granddaughter, Erin Fagan; great granddaughter, Ashley Phillips; great grandson, Trey Phillips; great granddaughter, Tori Loper; great granddaughter, Anna Welborn; great grandson, Hayden Williams; great granddaughters, Haley Nelson; Katelyn Nelson; Abby Loper; great grandson, Hunter Williams; great granddaughter, Kaylee Brown; great grandson, Jayden Brown.
She is predeceased by her husband L. R. Nelson and stepfather, Dozier D. Rogers
Friends may call Tuesday April 10, 2007, from 6 p.m.-9 p.m. at Sigler Funeral Home Inc., P.O. Box 102, Lucedale, Miss.
Funeral service will be held Wednesday April 11, 2007, at 10 a.m. at Agricola Baptist Church, 7268 Barton-Agricola Road, Agricola, Miss.
Interment will be Wednesday in Agricola cemetery, Agricola, Miss.
Rev. Dan Nelson, Tommy Mitchell and Rev. Brice Evans will officiate the services.
Sigler Funeral Home, 4248 Main St., Lucedale, MS is in charge of arrangements.

WATTS
Joseph Robert "Joey" Watts, 64, of Biloxi, Miss. died Sunday, April 8, 2007, in Mobile, Ala.
Mr. Watts was a graduate of Moss Point High School with the Class of 1961. He was a member of Woolmarket Baptist Church. Mr. Watts was owner and operator of Watts Catering of Moss Point, Miss. (A family owned business). He was also an avid golfer, boat captain with Biloxi Grand Hotel Casino.
He was preceded in death by his father: Pat Harrison Watts, Sr. and great grandson Isiah Barton.
Survivors include his wife of 20 years: Pamela F. Watts of Biloxi, his mother Vivian Watts Davis of Pascagoula, Miss., two daughters Keisha Winstead of Wade, Miss., Amy Bourgeois of Biloxi, one son "Dusty" Watts and his wife "Kim" of Wade, one sister Mrs. Joe D. "Sherry" Blades of Moss Point, one brother Pat H. Watts Jr. and his wife, Betty of Pascagoula, seven grandchildren Chad Barton, Maranda Barton, Randon Vona, Rayleigh Watts, Alex Zapata, Kameron Bourgeois and Brandon Bourgeois and numerous nieces and nephews.
Pall Bearers are as follows Mark Zapata, Jason Watts, Jacob Blades, David Britt, Bruce Wilson, Mark Watts.
Visitation is Tuesday, April 10, 2007, from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m. at Howard Avenue Chapel of Bradford-O'Keefe Funeral Home.
Service is Wednesday, April 11, 2007, at Woolmarket Baptist Church at 10 a.m. Friends may visit one hour before service begins.
Interment will follow at D'Iberville Memorial Park.

DAMAZIO
Colby Swendsen Damazio, 25, of Hurley, Miss., passed away Friday, April 6, 2007. He was born icon March 13, 1982, in Pascagoula, Miss.
Colby is preceded in death by his mother, Sharon Damazio; his grandmother, Mary Swendsen Eubanks and his great grandparents, Swin Herbert and Waydean Swendsen.
Colby is survived by his beloved daughter, Alyssa E. Damazio of Daphne, Ala.; his father and step mother, Donnie and Valerie Damazio; two brothers, Kevin Damazio and Kaylon Damazio; two sisters, Ashley Pittman and Savannah Damazio; his grandfather, Charles Foster of Shoemakersville, Pa.; one niece, Kaleigh Bradley and one nephew, Colin DeLung.
Pallbearers will be Luke Couch, Kevin Damazio, Kaylon Damazio, Ricky Damazio, Patrick Broome, and Colin DeLung.
Visitation will be Monday, April 9, 2007, from 10am to 12 noon, with the funeral service beginning at 12 noon, at Heritage Funeral Home, with the Reverend Bill Barton officiating. Burial will follow at Coleman cemetery.

HARBIN
Larry Gene Harbin, age 38, of Gautier passed away on Saturday, April 7, 2007, at Singing River Hospital, Pascagoula, MS.

POOLE
Barbara J. Poole, 77 of Gautier, Miss., passed away at her residence on Friday, April 6, 2007. Mrs. Poole was born icon January 22, 1930, to the late Carl and Abbie Sotter.
She married icon Richard W. Poole in 1953 and became a Navy wife for the next 19 years. She lived in San Francisco, Calif., Norfolk, Va., San Diego, Calif., Tokyo and Yokosuka, Japan. In 1972, Barbara and her husband settled in Gautier, Miss. Shortly thereafter, they joined the Gautier Presbyterian Church where Barbara became an active member of the Woman's Bible Study and The Presbyterian Woman. As an Elder, she served as the Clerk of the Session. Barbara was active in the Crew of El Mar in Pascagoula, eventually reigning as Queen. In support of her daughter, she continued her activity in the Girl Scouts started in San Diego and became the first Girl Scout Neighborhood Chairman in Gautier.
Barbara started bowling in Japan and continued in Gautier and New Orleans winning several patches and awards along the way. While living in New Orleans, she joined the Crew of Diana and participated in several parades.
She loved the RV life, if only for the weekend or extended trips with her husband and an occasional grandchild or two.
Barbara is preceded in death by her parents; her mother and father-in-law Wade Cornelius and Esther Louise Hobby Poole.
She is survived by her husband of 54 years, Richard W. Poole of Gautier, Miss.; a son, Daniel W. Poole of Beaverton, Ore.; a daughter, Nancy L. Poole of Vancleave, Miss.; two sisters, Shirley Crawford of Auburn, Calif., and Diane Mancini of Pleasanton, Calif.; two grandchildren, Tiffany Vaughan Lovell of Newport News, Va., and Steven Poole of Vancleave, Miss.; numerous cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.
In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to GPC Presbyterian Women, P.O. Box 340, Gautier, MS 39553 or Hospice of Light, 2101 Hwy 90, Gautier, MS 39553.
Visitation will be Tuesday, April 10, 2007, from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at O'Bryant-O'Keefe Funeral Home in Pascagoula, MS.
Funeral Services will be at 1:00 p.m.Wednesday, April 11, 2007, in the Funeral Home Chapel in Pascagoula with Rev. Chris Bullock officiating.
Interment will follow at 2:30 p.m. at Biloxi National cemetery on Biloxi, Miss.
Pallbearers will be Daniel Poole, Steven Poole, Dan Talbot, Dick Meenick, George Haines, and George Duffee-Braun.

WINCHESTER
INFANT CHASE WINCHESTER, of Pascagoula, Miss. passed away April 6, 2007. O'Bryant O'Keefe Funeral Home, Pascagoula, Miss.

ROGERS
Matthew Joseph Rogers, 21, of Lucedale, Miss. passed away on April 2, 2007.
He is preceded in death by grandparents Willard and Allie Mae Goff, great grandmother Rena Brown.
He is survived by parents Tim and Glenda Rogers, sisters Melissa Pilger, Makayla Rogers and Macy Rogers, grandparents Rudolph and Lilith Rogers, two nieces Anna Kathryn and Kaylee Mae Pilger.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, April 7, 2007 at 10 a.m. at George County Funeral Home Chapel, Lucedale with Rev. Hunter Lee and Danny Cochran officiating. Pallbearers are Jeremy Goff, Josh Goff, Gerald Havens, Kevin McDonald, Jameson White and Justin Howard.
Interment will follow at Rocky Creek cemetery. George County Funeral Home in charge of services.

BENSON
Mr. Benjamin Franklin "Frank" Benson, (92), died Tuesday, April 3, 2007 at his home in Grand Bay, Ala. He was born icon Sept. 7, 1914 in Robertsdale, Ala.. Mr. Benson was retired from Department 19 of Ingalls Shipbuilding in Pascagoula, Miss. He was a member of the Community of Christ Church in Vancleave, Miss. Mr. Benson was preceded in death by his father and mother, Mr. Neil Peter and Mrs. Salima Ware Benson, his first wife, Mrs. Mary Kitchens Benson, a son, Champy Cecil Benson, grandson, Patrick Allen Benson, a brother, Jimmy Benson and two sisters, Ann Goff and Bernice Bang.
He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Rosa Earline Benson of Grand Bay, a daughter and son in law, Marie and Leigh Galbraith of Prattville, Ala., a step-daughter and son in law, Jamie and Dale Wilkerson of Irvington, Ala., brother and sister in law, Lawrence and Pearl Benson of Saraland, Ala., sister and brother in law, Carolina Vida and Lewis Wilkerson of Vancleave, Miss., seven grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren and numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be held on Friday, April 6, 2007 from 12 p.m. until 2 p.m. at Holder-Wells Funeral Home in Moss Point, Miss.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. from the funeral home chapel with Rev. Roger Bowers officiating.
Interment will follow in Serenity Gardens in Mobile, Ala.
Pallbearers will be Brian Brink, Patrick Benson, Aaron Benson, Bobby Wescovich, Dewayne Wilkerson, Dale Wilkerson and Jeremy Benson.

MCCORMICK
Service for Mabel McCormick, 90, formerly of Natchez, Miss. who died Tuesday, April 3, 2007 at The Village, an assisted living facility in Macon, Ga., will held Saturday, April 7, at 10:30 a.m. at Bethlehem Baptist Church in Mangham, La with the Rev. Randy Turner officiating. Burial will follow at Prewitt cemetery in Mangham.
She was born icon June 25, 1916 in Alto, La, the daughter of Edwin A. Boies and Gussie Little Boies. She married icon John Gordon McCormick May 15, 1935 and they moved to Natchez, Miss. in 1950 in 1950 where she lived until 2001. She became a resident of The Gardens of Bay Towers in Pascagoula, Miss. in 2001 until the fall of 2005 when she relocated to Macon after Hurricane Katrina.
She is preceded in death by her husband John, a son Edwin Hugh, a daughter Peggy Sue, five brothers and four.
Survivors include two sons, John McCormick, Jr. and wife Charlotte of Gautier, Miss. and David McCormick and wife Karen of Macon, seven grandchildren, nine great grandchildren and one sister, Bernice Burnham of Bastrop, La. Macon Memorial Park Funeral Home, Macon Ga., in charge of Services.
