MCILWAIN
Kevin G. McIlwain, age 45, of Montgomery, La., died Tuesday, April 3, 2007 in Alexandria, La. Mr. McIlwain was born icon March 22, 1962, in Denver, Colo., and was employed as a welder in the construction industry.
Mr. McIlwain is survived by his two sons, Frank and Shane McIlwain of Lucedale, Miss.; a daughter, Brandy Nelson of Gautier, Miss.; his former wife, Annie McIlwain of Lucedale; a brother, Don McIlwain of Meridian , Calif.; and a sister, Julie Sexton, of Sacramento, Calif.
Mr. McIlwain was preceded in death by his mother, Johnnie Mae McIlwain and his Father Frank McIlwain.
Visitation for Mr. McIlwain will be held Friday, April 6, 2007 from 2 p.m. -3 p.m. at Heritage Funeral Home, Escatawpa, Miss.
The funeral service will follow at 3 p.m. in the funeral home chapel with Pastor Donnie Williams officiating.
Interment will follow in the Vancleave Community of Christ cemetery in Vancleave, Miss.
Arrangements by Heritage Funeral Home locally owned and operated.

FREELAND
Joseph R. Freeland, 75, of Glade Hill, Va., died Sunday morning, June 25, 2006 at his home.
He was born icon March 24, 1931 in Mobile County, Ala.
He served in the U.S. Navy and was a veteran of the Korean War.
Mr. Freeland retired from Illinois Central Gulf (ICG) Railroad, he was a Train Conductor.
Joe was preceded in death by his mother, Etta Rae Lyons; grandmother, Lula E. Lyons; father, Mr. Freeland; brothers, Charles and Dan Smith; mother-in-law, Dora Frances Dillon and brother-in-law, Tommy Lowery.

BENSON
Mr. Benjamin Franklin "Frank" Benson, (92), died Tuesday, April 3, 2007 at his home in Grand Bay, Ala. He was born icon Sept. 7, 1914 in Robertsdale, Ala.. Mr. Benson was retired from Department 19 of Ingalls Shipbuilding in Pascagoula, Miss. He was a member of the Community of Christ Church in Vancleave, Miss. Mr. Benson was preceded in death by his father and mother, Mr. Neil Peter and Mrs. Salima Ware Benson, his first wife, Mrs. Mary Kitchens Benson, a son, Champy Cecil Benson, grandson, Patrick Allen Benson, a brother, Jimmy Benson and two sisters, Ann Goff and Bernice Bang.
He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Rosa Earline Benson of Grand Bay, a daughter and son in law, Marie and Leigh Benson of Prattville, Ala., a step-daughter and son in law, Jamie and Dale Wilkerson of Irvington, Ala., brother and sister in law, Lawrence and Pearl Benson of Saraland, Ala., sister and brother in law, Carolina Vida and Lewis Wilkerson of Vancleave, Miss., seven grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren and numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be held on Friday, April 6, 2007 from 12 p.m. until 2 p.m. at Holder-Wells Funeral Home in Moss Point, Miss.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. from the funeral home chapel with Rev. Roger Bowers officiating.
Interment will follow in Serenity Gardens in Mobile, Ala.
Pallbearers will be Brian Brink, Patrick Benson, Aaron Benson, Bobby Wescovich, Dewayne Wilkerson, Dale Wilkerson and Jeremy Benson.

CONDREAY
Walter A. "Walt" Condreay, age 69, 1971 140th Street, Cameron, Ill. died on Friday, March 30, 2007 at 11:10 p.m. at his residence in Cameron.
He was born icon on August 25, 1937 in Galesburg, Ill., the son of James Floyd and Ethel Eldora Monroe Condreay. He married icon Annette Harrison on May 28, 1960.
He later married icon Beckey Morrison on April 22, 1972 in London Mills, Ill. She survives of Cameron.
He is also survived by sons Mark (Adonna) Condreay of Pascagoula, Miss. Mike Condreay of Big Point, Miss. Gary (Kathy) Condreay of Abingdon, Ill., Chad (Lisa) Condreay of Cameron, Ryan Condreay of Cameron, Adam Condreay of Cameron, daughter: Sara Condreay of Galesburg, 13 grandchildren, one great grandson, sisters: Martha McGraw Reeves of East Galesburg, Juanita (DeJaynes) and Charles Tracy of Abingdon, Ill., Karen Condreay of Lansdowne, PA, brothers, Robert (Lois) Condreay of Galesburg, Fred Condreay of Alpha, Kentucky. sister-in-law: Teresa (Jim) Welch of Cuba, Ill. brother-in-law, Steve (Nancy) Hall of Galesburg, son-in-law Dr. Otho and Phyllis Miller of Kirkwood, Illinois, and the late Robert E. Hall.
He is preceded in death by his parents, two brothers and one sister,
He was reared and educated in Lafayette, Ill. graduating from the Lafayette High School in 1956.
He served in the United States Air Force from July 16, 1956 until July 15, 1962 as an airman first class traveling to Turkey, Morocco, Spain, Portugal, France, Germany, Greece and Libya. He was an instructor of electronics at Keesler Air Force Base in Biloxi, Miss. He was airman of the month in July 1958.
He worked in the Ingalls-Nuclear Shipyards as a nondestructive test technician and later supervisor of the metallurgical lab in Pascagoula.
He worked at Butler Manufacturing in Galesburg, retiring in 1999.
He was a fan of the Warren Warriors and United Red Storm football teams.
He loved all sports, was a history and war buff, loved to fish and hunt, especially with "the boys", and cherished quiet times and visits with his daughter.
Cremation Rites will be accorded. A Celebration of Life will be held on Friday, April 6, 2007 from 1 p.m. until 3 p.m. at his residence in Cameron with Memorial Services at 4 p.m. with Rev. Sarah Parker officiating.
Memorials may be made to the Family or the Community Hospices of America.
Interment will be held at a later date. Hurd Hendricks Funeral Home and Crematory in Knoxville, Ill. in charge of arrangements.

DOBBS
A devoted husband, father, son, brother and friend, Robert Douglas Dobbs, 51, a resident of Hurley, Miss. took his heavenly flight Tuesday, April 3, 2007. He was at home surrounded by those who loved him most. Robert was a faithful member of Temple Baptist Church in Big Point, Miss. and a devoted employee of Mississippi Power Company Plant Daniel.
He was preceded in death by his son Michael Brett Dobbs, father Robert Ellis Dobbs Jr., grandmother Ruby Mae Dobbs, grandfather Robert Ellis Dobbs Sr., grandfather Tom Ed Griffin, mother-in-law Mary Joy Cumbest.
Survivors include his devoted wife of 30 years Charlene Dobbs, son Justin Dobbs and fiancée Megan Gum, mother Burna Lee Dobbs, grandmother Bertha Griffin, sister Judy (Edgar) Pittman, sister Cheryl (Edward) Pittman, father-in-law Charles Cumbest, sister-in-law Phyllis (Don) Smith, brother-in-law Buddy (Jeri) Cumbest, aunt Linda Dobbs, nieces and nephews Angela (Jason) Strange, Kendall Pittman, Logan Pittman, Stephen Jones, Neal Jones, Preshia Cumbest, Parrish Cumbest, Presleigh Cumbest, Jessica Smith, and numerous other relatives.
Pallbearers will be Don Smith, Buddy Cumbest, Michael Myrick, Kenny Sellers, Tommy Eldridge, Kevin May, Willie Holmes, Jonah Collins. Honorary pallbearers will be Robert Moore and Bobby Ray.
Visitation will be Thursday April 5, 2007 from 6-9 p.m. at Heritage Funeral Home in Escatawpa, Miss.
Celebration of life service will be held at Temple Baptist Church Friday April 6, 2007 at 10 a.m. with an one hour viewing prior to the service. Rev. Randy VonKanel, Rev. Forrest Coleman, and Rev. David Williams, will officiate the service.
Burial will follow in Magnolia Springs cemetery in Hurley. In lieu of flowers the family ask that donations be made to M. D. Anderson in Houston, Texas or the Leukemia Society Chapter of Mississippi at 405 Fontaine Place Suite 103 Ridgeland, MS 39157.

MANSFIELD
With great sadness the family of Debrah B. Mansfield announces her passing on Monday, April 2, 2007 in Pascagoula, Miss. Debrah was born icon to James and Gloria Nell Burge on Aug. 20, 1954. She was adopted by Lloyd and Mildred Aricer on Dec. 20, 1955. Debrah will forever be remembered by her son Jeremy (Courtney) Qualls and daughter Ashley and will also be fondly remembered by her mother Mildred Aricer and Gloria Nell Eckel, stepmother Merle Burge, brothers, sisters, nieces, nephews and extended family and friends. Debrah was preceded in death by her husband Glenn, fathers Lloyd M. and James Burge and brother Michael Burge.
A memorial service will be held Saturday April 7, 2007 at 1 p.m. with Rev. Glen Kennedy officiating at the Cedar Hills House of Prayer on 63 Cedar Hill Lane in Carriere, Miss.

MILLER
Annie Lou Miller, 70, of Lucedale, passed away April 2, 2007 in Mobile, Ala. She was born icon December 9, 1936 in Moss Point, Miss.
Although Mrs. Miller worked outside the home, her main focus and calling in life was as a homemaker for her family to whom she was deeply devoted.
Mrs. Miller is survived by her husband, James M. Miller; her son and daughter-in-law, David and Gale Miller of Lucedale, Miss.; three grandchildren, Jeffrey, Jason and Jamie Miller of Lucedale; special friends, Annette Wilks and Lucille Foster; numerous cousins, other relatives and friends.
Mrs. Miller was preceded in death by her parents, Otis Eugene Stauter and Bernice Sallie Allen; and special friend Carolyn Smith.
Visitation will be Wednesday, April 4, 2007 from 1 p.m. - 3 p.m. with a funeral service beginning at 3 p.m. at Heritage Funeral Home in Escatawpa, Miss.
Burial will follow at Union cemetery with Reverend James V. Miller officiating.

SCOTT
On April 2, 2007, Maggie Wilkins Scott joined her Lord and members of her family in Heaven. She was born icon on Nov. 24, 1914 in Clarke County, Miss. Strength and honor are her clothing- She looketh well to the ways of her household, her children arise and call her blessed.

She was preceded in death by her husband Durward B. Scott Sr; one granddaughter, Jessica Scott; her parents Sam and Lee Wilkins; brothers, Carley M. Wilkins, Samuel L. Wilkins, Edgar Wilkins and sister Lois Pittman; grandsons Terry Scott Jr., Jeff Fairley, Jimmy Scott, Jeremy Scott, Jack Rowan Jr. and Michael Rowan will serve as pallbearers. Honorary Pallbearers will be grandsons Robert Fairley Jr., H. L. Scott, Michael Scott, Marty Rowan, Neil Scott, Allen Purvis, Donovan McCauley and Anthony Spiriti.
The family would like to express their appreciation to special caregivers Princess (Odell) Hudson, Dr. Robert McBroom, Dr. Randy Roth, Dr. David Cuccio, Home Health and Hospice.
Visitation will be Wednesday, April 4, 2007 at O'Bryant-O'Keefe Funeral Home in Pascagoula, Miss. from 6-9 p.m.
Funeral Services will be Thursday, April 5, 2007 at 11 a.m. at The First Baptist Church of Pascagoula with visitation one hour prior to service. Rev. Dennis Ray Smith and Rev. Ken Hembree will officiate.
Interment will follow at Serene Memorial Gardens in Escatawpa, Miss.

WILLIAMS
Mrs. Emma Jean Williams, 73, of Gautier, Miss., died May 11, 2007.
Mrs. Emma Jean Bilbo-Williams was the third child to the late Oscar and Emma Bilbo in Gautier, Miss.
She graduated from Gautier Elementary School and Pascagoula Negro High School.
At an early age, she confessed Christ and united with St. Stephen United Methodist Church.
At St. Stephen she was actively involved with the United Methodist Women, Administrative Board, Nomination Committee, Pastor Parish Relations Committee and Trustee Board.

HUEY
Mrs. Ruthie Lee Fizer Huey, 70, passed away Thursday March 29, 2007. She was the daughter of the late Elmo Fizer and Sister Mary Vaughn Fizer and was born icon in Jackson, Miss. on Feb. 9, 1937.
At an early age she joined Third Temple Church of Christ (Holiness) U.S.A. She was educated in the Jackson Public School System graduating from Jim Hill High School. She earned a B.S. degree from Jackson State University in General Science. While attending college, she worked at University Hospital. Ruthie taught public school for several years in San Antonio, TX. After relocating to Moss Point, Miss., she was employed by Ingall's Shipyard for 33 years and retired due to medical problems. Upon retirement, she became active with the American Red Cross where she served as volunteer coordinator.
She was united in Holy Matrimony to Pernell Huey in 1966, and to this union two children were born. Michael Pernell Huey and Brooke Sharnell Huey Williams.
She was preceded in death by her parents, two sons, Michael Pernell Huey and Henry Donnell Puckett; three sisters, Gertrude Calloway, Janice McField and Helen Glenn; two brothers, Freddy Fizer and Elmo J. Fizer.
Ruthie is survived by her husband of 41 years, Pernell Huey. A loving daughter, Mrs. Brooke (Fred) Williams. Step-daughters, Rosalyn Jordan of Moss Point and Elizabeth (Michael) Winn of Round Rock, TX., two beloved granddaughters, Carolyn Hailye Williams and Tyler J. Thigpen, and step-grandson, Michael Jordan. Sisters, Carol (Charles) Ball of Clarksdale, Miss., Deloris (Aaron) Sampson of Sacramento, Calif., Dorothy Fizer and Sandra Fizer of Jackson, an aunt Mildred Vaughn of Jackson. Brothers-in-law, John McField and Rev. Edgar Calloway of Jackson.
Funeral Services will be held Tuesday April 3, 2007 at 11 a.m. at Heritage Funeral Home.
Burial will follow at Machpelah cemetery in Pascagoula. In lieu of flowers, the family asks donations be made to the Southeast Chapter of the American Red Cross.

TOLSTOY
Helen Tolstoy, 85, of Gautier died Friday, March 30, 2007, in Singing River Hospital. She was born icon May 16, 1921, in Lemnos Island, Greece, and has been a resident of Gautier for 13 years.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Peter Tolstoy; her parents, Alex and Domna Tchoubavskoff.
She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Serge and Margaret Tolstoy, Gautier; grandchildren, Anna, Stephanie, and Tania Tolstoy, all of Gautier.
Funeral Service will be Wednesday, April 4, 2007, at 9 a.m. at Sunland Funeral Home in Sun City, Ariz. Interment will follow at Sunland cemetery.
