COLUMBUS — Mary Green died March 15, 2013, at Baptist Memorial Hospital-Golden Triangle. Arrangements are incomplete and will be announced by Carter’s Funeral Home of Columbus.

Nicolle Faulkner
COLUMBUS — Nicolle Faulkner, 80, died April 19, 2013, at her residence. Services are Tuesday at 2 p.m. at Dowdle Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in Memorial Gardens of Columbus. Visitation is Monday from 6-8 p.m. at Dowdle Funeral Home. Mrs. Faulkner was a native of Issoudun, France. She was preceded in death by her parents, Camille and Madeline Piat Audebert; and son, Michael Faulkner. Survivors include her husband, Willett D. Faulkner of Columbus; sons, Phillip Faulkner and Timothy Faulkner; and brother, Michael Audebert.

John Dancy
NOXUBEE COUNTY — John Earl Dancy, 56, died April 16, 2013. Services are Monday at 1 p.m. at Carter’s Funeral Services Chapel of Macon with Yvonne Erby officiating. Burial will follow in Odd Fellows cemetery. Mr. Dancy was born icon Jan. 16, 1957, to the late Charlie Dancy and Maggie Little Moore. Survivors include his daughters, Lashonda Mallard and Maronda Miller, both of Dallas, Cherlynn Mallard of Columbus, Yvonne Mallard of Tupelo and William Mallard of Starkville; siblings, Zula Dancy, Georgia Augustus, Irene Dancy, Walter Dancy, all of Macon and Charlie Dancy Jr., of Boligee, Ala.; and five grandchildren.

Loriene Peterson McCrory
(October 17, 1924 - September 14, 2008)
Mrs. Loriene Peterson McCrory died Sunday, September 14, 2008, at Tyler Holmes Memorial Hospital in Winona. She had resided at Winona Manor since 2007. She was born icon and raised to adulthood in Buffalo, Texas, and moved to Mississippi after her marriage to Jessie Kirven McCrory on July 17, 1943. They lived and raised their family in the Boyd Community of Carroll County, Mississippi. She was a member of New Bethel Baptist Church near Carrollton.
Graveside services will be at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, September 16, at Moore Memorial cemetery near Carrollton, with Rev. Joseph Sansing officiating.
Mrs. McCrory was the daughter of the late George Cleveland Peterson and Maggie Vann Peterson of Buffalo, Texas. She was born icon on October 17, 1924. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Jessie Kirven McCrory, Sr., and her brothers, Jessie James Peterson, John Alex Peterson, George Thomas Peterson; her sister, Ruby Lucille Peterson Wilkins; and her granddaughter, Terri Jo McCrory.
Survivors include her sons, Jessie Kirven McCrory, Jr., and his wife, Shirley, of Carrollton; George Everette McCrory and his wife, Janice, of Carrollton; Kenneth McCrory and his wife, Linda, of Red Oak, Texas; and Danny Trent McCrory and his wife, Mary, of Carrollton; her twin sister, Maudine Peterson Turner of Commerce, Texas; thirteen grandchildren; twenty-four great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
Pallbearers will be Scott Beck and Mrs. McCrory's grandsons, Rhett McCrory, Scott McCrory, Brook McCrory, Kenny McCrory, and Tully McCrory.

Patty Lynnell Myers
Services for Patty Lynnell Myers, of Ruth, are 11 a.m. Tuesday, Feb. 2, at Union Primitive Baptist Church in Ruth, with burial the church cemetery. Riverwood Family Funeral Service is in charge of arrangements.
Visitation is Monday from 5 until 9 p.m. at the funeral home, and on Tuesday at the church from 10 a.m. until the time of the service.
Myers, 54, died Jan. 31, 2010, at her residence. She was born icon on Oct. 29, 1955, to James Melvin Myers and Doris Westbrook Myers.
She was a digital technician with AT&T for 33 years. She attended Union Primitive Baptist Church.
She organized and participated in many civic activities as a member of Bell South Pioneers. She was sponsor and a volunteer for Freedom Reins Horse Therapy. She played basketball at Southwest Mississippi Christian Academy, Brookhaven Academy and Southwest Mississippi Community College.
She was an athlete who shared her passion for the outdoors and her love of family with all her nieces and nephews. She thought that love and family togetherness were most important. She taught by example, on many instances, generosity and self-sacrifice. She was the core of our family and will by greatly missed.
Preceding her in death were her parents.
Survivors are her brother, Elder Randal B. Myers and wife Diane, of Zachary, La.; her sisters, Sandra L. Laird and husband Russell, of Brookhaven, and Polly M. Reeves and husband Dennis, of Bogue Chitto; her nephews and nieces, Elder Luke Laird and wife Jessica, of Moundville, Ala., Joshua Laird and wife Erin, of Jacksonville, Fla., Justin Laird and wife Lacey, of Slidell, La., Candace Myers, of Baton Rouge, La., James Myers and wife Katrina, of Little Elm, Texas, Joseph Myers and wife Kristy, of Golden Meadow, La., Lynnsey Myers, of Starkville, and Mack Reeves and Katelyn Reeves, both of Bogue Chitto; and her great-nephews and great-nieces, Logan L. Laird, Ty C. Laird, Patrick S. Laird, Piper R. Laird, Aynslee G. Laird, Avery L. Laird, Isaac R. Myers, Noah J. Myers and Ella C. Myers.

Ivan Rawles, Jr.
(June 10, 1945 - October 2, 2013)
Funeral services for Ivan Rawles Jr. of McCarley will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, October 4, in the Oliver Funeral Home Chapel, with burial following in Poplar Springs cemetery near Kilmichael. Rev. Phillip Cook will officiate the services.
Visitation will be Thursday, October 3, from 5:00 until 7:00 p.m., at Oliver Funeral Home.
Mr. Rawles, formerly of Winona, died at his residence near McCarley on Wednesday, October 2, 2013. He was 68 years old.
Mr. Rawles was born icon on June 10, 1945, in Clare County, Michigan, to Ivan M. and Thelma Gruno Rawles. He was a self-employed carpenter and a member of North Winona Baptist Church. He was a U. S. Army veteran and an avid bird hunter and fisherman. Mr. Rawles was a dedicated family man, who adored his grandchildren and loved cats. He was preceded in death by his parents and two sisters, Luella Rawles and Margie Melton.
Survivors include his wife, Linda Rawles of McCarley; daughter, Caroline Beck (Ricky) of Winona; sons, Mike Rawles (Jennifer) of McCarley, Ricky Rawles (Laurie) of Winona, Ivan "Bubba" Rawles (Heidi) of Grenada, and Danny Holmes of Winona; sisters, Marion Reel (Allen) of Huntsville, Betty Jordan of Flint, MI, Virginia Palmertree (Kimble) of Kosciusko; brothers, James Rawles (Sharon) of Prescott, AZ, Frank Rawles (Connie) of Owasso, MI, Richard Rawles (Mae) of Winona, and Gary Rawles (Julia) of Southaven; eight grandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews, including a special niece, Destiny Wolfe.
Pallbearers will be Wendell Holmes II, Delvin Bradley, Bobby Kendricks, Bryan Holmes, Jamie Rawles, Michael Palmertee, and David Lee Bailey. Honorary pallbearers are Timothy Holmes and Snuffy Garrett.
Memorial contributions may be made to a charity of the donor's choice.

Kyleigh Antoinette Smith
Graveside services for Kyleigh Antoinette Smith, of Brookhaven, are 1 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 3, at Mt. Comet cemetery in Union Church. R.E. Tyler Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Baby Kyleigh was born icon Feb. 1, 2010, to Tradennis Neal, of Starkville, and Krystal Smith, of Brookhaven. She died on Feb. 1, 2010, at King's Daughters Medical Center.
Survivors are her parents; her maternal grandparents, Scotty and Sharon Smith, of Union Church; and her paternal grandparents, Linda Neal and Richard Evans, both of Starkville.

Ida Mae Buckner
Services for Ida Mae Buckner, of Brookhaven, are 11 a.m. Friday, Feb. 5, at Mt. Zion United Methodist Church in Clinton, La., with burial in Macedonia cemetery in Clinton. Williams Mortuary is in charge of arrangements.
Visitation is Wednesday from 1 until 7 p.m. at the funeral home, with family hour from 6 until 7 p.m.
Mrs. Buckner, 95, died Jan. 27, 2010, at Countrybrook Living Center. She was born icon in Clinton, La., on March 27, 1914, to Marshall Flowers and Alberta Matthews.
She was retired.
Preceding her in death were her parents.
Survivors are her companion, Morris Gearing, of Brookhaven; and other relatives and friends.

Jerry R. Ratliff Sr.
Services for Jerry R. Ratliff Sr., of Brookhaven, are 2 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 7, at Heucks Retreat Baptist Church with burial in the church cemetery. Brookhaven Funeral Home on Natchez Drive is in charge of arrangements.
Visitation is Sunday from 9 a.m. until noon at the funeral home and 1 p.m. until the time of the service at the church.
Mr. Ratliff, 79, died Feb. 5, 2010, at Select Specialty Hospital in Jackson. He was born icon in Lincoln County on March 1, 1930, to L. P. Ratliff Sr. and Marie Warren Ratliff.
He was a retired co-owner at Ratliff Sheet Metal and Air Conditioning. He was a member of Heucks Retreat Baptist Church, where he served as a deacon, Sunday school superintendent, building committee member and as cemetery committee chairman. He was a U.S. Navy veteran of the Korean conflict.
Preceding him in death were his parents; his wife, Julia Moak Ratliff; his sisters, Anna Marie Allgood and Jan Kessler; and his brothers, L. P. Ratliff Jr., William W. Ratliff and N. A. "Buddy" Ratliff.
Survivors are his son, Jerry R. "Buzz" Ratliff Jr. and wife, Denise, of Brookhaven; his daughter, Lissy Smith and husband, Steve, of Brookhaven, and Raine Young, of Dothan, Ala.; his grandchildren, Anson Smith and wife, Leslie, of Hattiesburg, Jessica Francis and husband, Logan, of Sontag, Misty Sandifer and husband, Ryan, of Wesson, and Lacy Young, of Purvis; eight great-grandchildren; his sister, MayDee Fields, of Arvada, Colo.; his brothers, Charles "Ploochie" Ratliff and wife, Virginia, of Brookhaven, and Marion L. "Buck" Ratliff and wife, Agnes, of Wesson; his sister-in-law, Mary Ratliff, of Brookhaven; and a faithful special friend and companion of 11 years, Anita Nettles, of Brookhaven.

Tina Marcell Denton
(May 27, 1960 - October 9, 2014
Funeral services for Tina Marcell Denton of Eskridge will be at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, October 13, in the Oliver Funeral Home Chapel, with Rev. Terry Corley and Rev. John L. Walker officiating. Burial will follow in the Pine Forest Baptist Church cemetery near Lodi.
Visitation will be Sunday, October 12, from 5:00 until 7:00 p.m., at Oliver Funeral Home.
Miss Denton, 54, died of heart failure at Greenwood Leflore Hospital on Thursday, October 9. She was born icon in LaPanto, Arkansas, on May 27, 1960, and was a former employee of Multicraft Corporation in Winona. She was a member of Horseshoe Baptist Church near Tchula. Miss Denton was preceded in death by her mother, Ruby Jean Russell Denton.
Survivors include her father, Bill Denton of Eskridge; two sisters, Teresa Cummings of Eskridge and Patricia Ann Palmertree of Lubbock, Texas; and one brother, Bill Denton Jr. of Philadelphia.
Pallbearers are Bill Denton Jr., Charlie Cummings, Larkin Cummings, Archie Blair, Timothy Blankenship, and Brandon Blankenship.

Wayne Lofton
Services for Wayne Lofton, of Smithdale, are 11 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 6, at Riverwood Family Funeral Service Chapel with burial in Ramah Baptist Church cemetery in McCall Creek.
Visitation is Friday from 5 until 9 p.m. at the funeral home.
Mr. Lofton, 75, died Feb. 3, 2010, at his residence. He was born icon on Oct. 20, 1934, to DeKalb Lofton and Jewel Baggett.
He was retired. He was a member of Ramah Baptist Church.
Preceding him in death were his parents; his sons, Stephen Lofton and Jason Lofton; his brother, Dalton Lofton; and his father- and mother-in-law, Marvin and Nell Pickett.
Survivors are his wife, Jearlene Lofton; his son, Mike Lofton and wife Mary; his daughter, Jennie Lofton and husband George Crofoot; his daughter-in-law, Stephanie Lofton; his sister-in-law, Gloria Faye Lofton; his grandchildren, Steve Lofton, Dan Lofton, Waylan Payne, Hannah Becker, Joey Tanner, Alicia Smith, April Holcomb, Shelby Lofton and Abigail Lofton; his great-grandchildren, Haley Payne, Zach Payne, Alivia Becker and Gavin Cannon; and a host of nephews and nieces.
