Melissa Allen will become the bride of Jason Wilhelm on June 5, 2010. She is the daughter of Laurie Wenzel, Richard Wenzel and Tom Allen, all of Butte. He is the son of Sharon Wilhelm and Dwayne Wilhelm, also of Butte. The ceremony will take place at the Holiday Inn Express.

Verlanic-Rumph

James Verlanic and Danielle Rumph will become husband and wife on June 19, 2010, at St. Bernard's Church in Billings. Jim is the son of Kenneth and Teresa Verlanic of Anaconda. Danielle is the daughter of Dale and Kathy Rumph of Billings.

Jim and Danielle are both graduates of Montana State University. Jim has a double major in bio-medical science and ecology and evolution with designs on attending medical school. Danielle's major is in health and human development and is employed by the Las Vegas school system

Davis-Housman

Lucas Wayne Davis and Amanda Jo Housman will become husband and wife in a June 19, 2010, ceremony at the Gold Hill Lutheran Church. A reception will follow at the Front Street Station.

She is the daughter of Gary and Vicky Housman of Whitehall. He is the son of Wayne and Secily Davis of Butte.

Bartoletti-Schreiner

Joining hands in marriage on July 31, 2010, will be Teresa Bartoletti and Casey Schreiner. The nuptial Mass will take place at St. Patrick's Catholic Church.

The future bride and groom's parents are Michael and Kay Bartoletti of Butte, and Robin and Dannette Schreiner of Great Falls.

Morrison-Cerise

June 26, 2010, is the date set for the wedding of Tiffany Cerise and Mark Morrison. The future bride and groom's parents are Mark and Janet Cerise, and Ky and Clara Morrison.

Dessing-Emery

Plans for a June 5, 2010, wedding are being made by Haley Dessing and Jason Emery. Parents of the couple are Rick and Lisa Dessing, and Ross and Carol Emery, all of Clarkston, Wash.

Both people are graduates of Clarkston High School and Washington State University. The ceremony will take place at the Clarkston Golf and Country Club. The couple will honeymoon in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico.

Richardson-Wanty

Ryan Richardson will take Tori Wanty as his bride May 29, 2010. Their parents are Shelly Rewerts and Ray Wanty of Shelby, and Sheila and Ross Richardson of Butte.

Davis-Heinrich

Don and Theo Davis of Butte announce the engagement of their daughter, Demetra Davis, to Chris Heinrich, son of Tom and Joan Heinrich of Baudette, Minn. A July 9 wedding is planned in Butte.

Both Demetra and Chris are 2009 graduates of Gonzaga University, Demetra in biology and Chris in journalism. Currently, both are serving a humanitarian mission abroad as co-directors of an orphanage in Kenya. In the fall, Demetra will enter medical school and Chris will attend graduate school.

Erinn and Erik Guzik

The Northern Rockies Heritage Center in Missoula was the scene for the July 14, 2007, wedding of Erinn Kristien Patterson and Erik Edward Guzik. Officiate was Dr. Paul Bach.

She is the daughter of Mike and Helen Patterson of Butte, and the granddaughter of Cy and Ruth Harrington, and the late Biz Patterson. He is the son of Dick and Flora Guzik of Palmer, Mass., and the grandson of Wallace and Mildred Mueller.

Wedding attendants were Stacy Jennings, Erin Morris, Lacey Reinhardt, Lindsay Moreira, Todd Guzik, Keith Guzik, Sean Patterson, and Ross Hartman.

A reception followed the ceremony.

Erinn completed her undergraduate studies at the University of Montana and completed her graduate studies in clinical psychology at the University of Massachu-setts-Dartmouth. She is a program director and therapist at a non-profit agency in Oklahoma City, Okla.

Erik earned his bachelor’s degree and doctorate degree in economics from the University of Massachusetts-Amherst and is an economics professor at the University of Science and Arts in Oklahoma.

The newlyweds are living in Chickasha, Okla.

Erika and Jake Gustavsen

Erika Haker and Jake Gustavsen were married Aug. 3, 2012, at St. Ann’s Church in Butte by the Rev. Thomas Haffey. A reception at the Butte Saddle Club followed the ceremony.

Erika is the daughter of Jane and the late Randy Haker of Missoula. Jake is the son of Mike and Sue Gustavsen of Butte.

Matron of honor was Wendy Davison. Bridesmaids were Ali Watson, Molly Hays, Beth Ueland, Mandy Roseberry, Abby Morlock and Angie Barnosky. Flower girl was Lyla Gustavsen.

Best men were Josh Gustavsen and Chris Gustavsen. Groomsmen were Jason Brown, Kasey Alger, Bob Carpino, Cole Davis and Ryan Richardson. Ushers were Willy Davison and Brad Smith. Ringbearer was Vinny Davison.

Erika graduated from Missoula Hellgate High School, received a bachelor’s degree in secondary education from Montana State University-Billings and a master’s degree in school administration from MSU-Bozeman. Erika teaches and coaches at Bozeman High School.

Jake graduated from Butte High School and attended Montana Tech. He works for General Distributing in Bozeman. They will make their home in Bozeman.

Tricia and Rick Schumann

St. Peter's Catholic Church in Anaconda was the scene for the July 5 wedding of Tricia Caulfield and Rick Schumann. Performing the nuptial rite was the Rev. John Hunthausen, who married the bride's parents 49 years ago at St. Peter's.

The bride is the daughter of Terrance and Marion Caulfield of Anaconda. A graduate of Western Montana College, she is a teacher.

The groom is the son of Joe and Sandy Schumann of Hawthorne, Nev. He is the assistant fire chief for the Hawthorne Army Ammunition Depot.

Wedding attendants were Teresa Hupfauf and Joan Wang, maids of honor; Jeff Schumann, best man; Tanna Conrady, Airika Waible and Melissa Pena, bridesmaids; Greg Schumann, Walter Johnson, Jason Cardenas and Pat Caulfield, groomsmen; Bernie Caulfield, usher; Tiana Hupfauf, Brooke Conrady and Mackenzie Wang, flower girls; and Drew Conrady, ringbearer.

The reception was held at the Anaconda Country Club.

Following a honeymoon cruise to Alaska, the Schumanns are living in Hawthorne.

Sammie Jo and Zach McLean

Wed in a July 19, 2007 ceremony at St. Paul's United Methodist Church, Helena, were Sammie Jo Noyd and Zach McLean. Officiating was the Rev. Marianne Veiser.

Daughter of Marlon and Donna Noyd of Malta, the bride was attended by Kyle Dellwo, matron of honor; Megan McLean, Shannon Oakes, Cherisha Hines and Rachel Frank, bridesmaids; and Mackennna Spaulding, flower girl. Sammie Jo's friend, Chrissy Lundstrom, was the vocalist.

Son of Mike and Kin McLean of Whitehall, and James and Darla Oakes of Three Forks, the groom was attended by Casey McLean, best man; Seth McLean, Britt McLean, Travis Williams, and Shawn Patrick, groomsmen; and Beau McLean and Kyle Glaus, ushers.

Among the wedding guests were the bride's grandmother, Carol Woodley, and the groom's grandparents, Allen and Molly McLean, Darrell and Bert Raffety, and Bill and Barbara Brown.

A reception was held at the Red Lion Colonial Hotel, Helena.

Both people graduated from Montana State University-Northern. She earned a degree in health promotion and works for Meadowlark Manor in Whitehall. He earned a degree in business technology and works for McLean Plumbing and Heating.

Following a wedding trip to Coeur d'Alene, the McLeans are living in Whitehall.

Cassie and Levi Jones

Cassie Dallaserra and Levi Jones were joined by their parents, Mark and Renee Neary and Tony and Dusty Gardipee, along with 75 guests, at their wedding at the Disneyland Hotel on June 19, 2014.

Cassie arrived to the wedding at the Rose Court Garden, in a Cinderella glass carriage.

Performing the ceremony was the groom’s cousin, Chad Boggess.

Sadie Dallaserra was her sister’s maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Kelsey Chase, Jolie Pate-Terry, Ashley Moser, Tonya Williams, Chelsea Williams and Ricca Downs, and junior bridesmaids were Kelliann Neary and Mikela Gardipee, the bride and groom’s sisters. Best Man was Andy Smith, and the groomsmen were Brittney Hemphill, Mark Hennessey, Tyler O’Connell, Todd Williams, and the bride’s brother, Dylan Dallaserra. Flower girl was Cheyene Williams and the ringbearer was Wyatt Williams.

After the ceremony, there was a reception at the Sleeping Beauty Pavilion.

Ashley and James See

The Immaculate Conception Catholic Church was the scene for the Oct. 12, 2013, wedding of Ashley Brooke Ellis of Anaconda, and James Allan See of Lubbock, Texas.

The 3 p.m. ceremony was performed by Father Tim Moriarty.

The couple currently lives in Lubbock, Texas.

Joshua and Kaci Drapes

Kaci Hockaday and Joshua Drapes were married Nov. 30, 2013, at Abundant Life Church in Butte. Andy Joyce officiated.

Kaci is the daughter of Jeff and Dorothy Hockaday of Butte. Joshua is the son of Greg and Debi Drapes of Missoula. Maid of honor was Rachel Costin and matron of honor was Rachel Christiaens. Best man was John Westland. Bridesmaids were Shani Sullivan, Katie Shelton and Farielle Houran. Groomsmen were Cameron Drapes, Logan Drapes, Eric Shell and Ryan Roulette. Ushers were Hank and Jared Hockaday.

Kaci has a biology degree from Montana Tech and just finished her third year at OHSU School of Dentistry. Joshua has a biology degree from the Air Force Academy and is a 1st lieutenant and pilot in the Air Force.

The couple had a wonderful Hawaiian honeymoon and are awaiting orders to their next destination.

Martilyn and Jason Merideth

Joining hands in marriage at 1 p.m. June 1, 2013, at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church were Martilyn Alexander and Jason Merideth. Officiant was Father Patrick Beretta.

The bride’s parents are Sonia Andrews of Butte, and Marty Alexander, also of Butte. Parents of the groom are Dianne Merideth and Ken Merideth, both of Livingston.

Wedding vocalist was Kim Lorengo. Special readings were given by the bride’s mother, Sonia Andrews, who read First Corinthians 13, and Anne Holm, the bride’s aunt, who read from the Book of Genesis

Serving the bride were a cousin, Jamie LeProwse, matron of honor; friend, Stephanie Garcia, maid of honor; and Annika Swandal, flower girl. Rob Picard stood as best man, and groomsman was his brother, Josh Merideth. Ringbearer was the bride’s nephew, Kale Alexander, who was escorted by his father, Mike Alexander. Guests were seated by the groom’s nephews, Zach and Alex Mustard.

Among the guests were the bride’s grandparent, Marian Alexander, and the groom’s grandparents, John and Loretta Parisi.

The reception was held at the Butte Rodeo Grounds.

Martilyn graduated from Butte High School and earned a degree in biology and a minor in chemistry from Carroll College. She received her doctorate in pharmacy from the University of Montana. She is a pharmacist for Walgreen’s in Great Falls

Jason graduated from Livingston High School and earned a bachelor’s degree in marketing and advertising from UM. He is the owner of Visual Impact Photography, Great Falls.

Their honeymoon in the Bahamas included scuba diving in the reefs with sharks.

They are at home in Great Falls.

Garrett and Erica Scott

Lakeside Ranch in Helena was the scene for the July 23, 2011, wedding of Erica Graham and Garrett Scott.

Erica is the daughter of Lee and Julie Graham of Clancy. Garrett is the son of Jeff and Pam Scott of Columbus.

Maid of honor was Melissa Donaldson and matron of honor was Tracie Crites.

Bridesmaids were Lisa Waddell, Jennifer Long, Kadee Peterson, Manda Hall and Morgan Hawley. Flower girl was McKinzey Sholey. Serving as best men were Drew Scott and Jesse Scott, and groomsmen were Ryan Graham, Tom Martin, Casey Crites, Jay Ciralli and Tucker Sobrepena. Ringbearer was Evan Long.

Among the wedding guests were grand-

parents, Nancy Wills, Arne Holm, and John and Bette Scott.

Both people graduated from Carroll College. She works for Avadyne Health and he works for Yellowstone Bank.

Home for the newlyweds is Billings after honeymooning at Montego Bay, Jamaica.

Brittany and Patrick McNamee

St. Ann Church was the scene for the Oct. 13, 2012 candlelight wedding of Brittany Scalabrin and Patrick McNamee. Solemnizing the nuptial rite was the Rev. Thomas Haffey.

Readers included the bride’s cousin and aunt, Debbie Welch and Sharon Woody, and Julie Brinton was the vocalist.

Daughter of Bob and Daniela “Dee” Scalabrin of Butte, Brittany earned a bachelor’s degree in marketing and a minor in international business and entrepreneurship from Montana State University. She is a procurement coordinator/estimator for Ames Construction, Inc.

Son of Michael McNamee of Park City, Utah, and the late Debra Schuster, Patrick earned a bachelor’s degree in construction engineering technology from Montana State University and is a project manager for Ames Construction, Inc.

The bride’s friend, Krista Paul, was maid of honor, and bridesmaids included her cousin, Ashley Welch, and friends, Courtney Schad, Dayle Stahl, Katie Bridger, and Maggie Machinsky. Junior bridesmaid was a cousin, Taylor Welch, and the flower girls were the groom’s niece, Chloe McNamee and the bride’s friend, Kendallyn Schad.

Casey McNamee was his brother’s best man and groomsmen were his friends, Brandon Frick, Eric Stahl, Dyllan Robertus and Chad Gluhm. The bride’s cousins, Nick Casqueiro, Kris Casqueiro and Franklin Schwartz, seated guests and ringbearer was the groom’s nephew, Ethan McNamee.

The reception was at the Front Street Station.

A special guest was the bride’s grandmother, Frances Muffich. During the wedding, Brittany wore her grandmother’s mink stole. The groom’s grandmother is Helen McNamee, who was unable to attend. Among the weddings guests were Brenda and Rick Casqueiro, Judy and Dave Seibel, Phil and Shane Scalabrin, Jim Welch, and David Scalabrini.

A close family friend, Denise Struznik, decorated the reception hall, using an outdoor rustic theme.

The newlyweds are living in Eagle Mountain, Utah, and are planning delayed honeymoon to Vancouver Island, B.C.

Jorge and Shannon Garcia

Jorge Garcia took Shannon Mandic to be his bride on Aug. 11, 2012, at Oasis Community Church in Fallon, Nev. Following the wedding, a reception was held at the Silver State Officer’s Club at Naval Air Station Fallon.

The wedding party included best friend, Kelli McArthur and sister, Erica Mandic as maids of honor. Emily Clyburn was the junior bridesmaid and Rylyn McArthur was the flower girl. Standing up as best man was Shane Cartwright and the groomsmen were Justin Mandic, Lewis Garcia and Jorge Garcia. Jackson McArthur was the ringbearer.

Together, a blessing for marriage was given by Martha Garcia and Jami Rowlett. Music at the wedding ceremony was arranged by Susan Marsh, who is a friend of the bride and groom.

Jorge is the son of Jorge Garcia of San Antonio, Texas, and Maria Garcia of Ontario, Calif. Jorge served in the U.S. Navy as an active duty firefighter for eight years. Jorge is now active in the Navy Reserves. He is a federal firefighter for Naval Air Station Fallon and a fire instructor for the State of Nevada.

Shannon is the daughter of Dave and Colleen Mandic of Butte. Shannon is a teacher for Churchill County School District.

Thank you to all family and friends who traveled to be with us on our wedding day!

The Garcia family has established their home in Fallon.

Meagen and Dustin Bretz

Wed in an outdoor ceremony on July 14, 2012, at Fairmont Hot Springs Resort were Meagen Beatty and Dustin Bretz. Officiating at the ceremony was the bride’s brother, Ryan Beatty.

Parents of the couple are Paul and Loralee Beatty of Butte, and Dave and Stacy Bretz of Missoula.

Serving as matron of honor was Rachael Beatty, maid of honor was Linda Frey, and best man was Brandon Bretz. Bridesmaids were Misty Warner, Dr. Kristin Grote, Ashley Lord, Brynn Beatty, Beth Yurek and Jeanann Lemelin. Flower girl was Carmody Beatty. Groomsmen were Kevin Tyler, Mike Hughes, Charlie Besteder, and Dan Beatty. Honorary groomsman was David Delaittre. Ringbearer was Jace Beatty. Special readings were given by Roshell Fortune and Erica Sholey.

Following the ceremony, a reception was held in the banquet room at Fairmont Hot Springs Resort.

Meagen is a graduate of MSU-Billings with a degree in elementary and special education and is currently employed by the Billings School District as a kindergarten teacher. Dustin graduated from the University of Montana with a degree in Business Administration, and is co-owner of Bretz RV and Marine.

After honeymooning in Maui, Hawaii, the newlyweds are at home in Billings.
