Lila M. Lee, 92 peacefully passed away at Aiken Regional Medical Center on Monday, November 22, 2010. Visitation will be held at Folk Funeral Home in Williston, SC, on Tuesday, November 23, from six to eight p.m., Funeral services will be held in the chapel of Folk Funeral Home in Williston on Wednesday, November 24, at three p.m., with burial in The Williston Cemetery. Pallbearers will be her grandchildren who all loved her very much.

Mrs. Lee was born in Wheeler County, Georgia, and moved to Williston where she has resided since 1951.

Survivors include daughters, Lila (L.M.) Simmons of Williston, SC, Shirley (Wayne) Pitts of Graniteville, SC; son, Wendell Lee of Gilbert, SC; daughter-in-law, Mae Lee of Williston and brother, Bennie (Ouida) Montford of Glenwood, Georgia. Mrs. Lee had 12 grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren and 4 great-great grandchildren. Mrs. Lee was preceded in death by her loving and devoted husband, W. M. Lee; son, Walter G. Lee, daughter-in-law, Gladys Fowler Lee; great grandchildren, Brandon Lee and Melissa Lynette Pitts and four brothers.

Graveside Funeral Services for Vincent L. Lempp, 88, of Springfield will be held four pm Monday, November 29, 2010 at Pleasant Hill Baptist Church Cemetery, Springfield with the Rev. John Yario officiating. Mr. Lempp passed away Saturday, November 27, 2010.

Born in New York he was a son of George Lempp and was a member of the First Baptist Church of Springfield.

Survivors include, Pam and Mack Kennerly, Audie and Tracy Cooper, Harold and Corean Bell. He was preceded in death by his grandmother, Bartie Barr.

Sandra Modgling McNeely

Graveside Funeral Services for Sandra Modgling McNeely, 57, of Williston, SC will be held two pm Sunday, November 28, 2010 at the Williston Cemetery with the Reverend Charles Morris officiating. Sandra passed away Saturday, November 27, 2010

Born in Barnwell County she was a daughter of the late Sidney and Alice Owens Modgling.

She formerly worked at the University of South Carolina, Aiken in the cafeteria and attended Pleasant Hill Baptist Church.

Survivors include her husband, Dwight David McNeely; son, Thomas Billy Givens; daughter, Jami-Lee Brown; aunt, Pearle Benedict; brother in laws, Freddie and Alton McNeely; sister in law, Susie Kay McNeely. She was preceded in death by a sister, Shirley M. Dunbar and brother, Jimmy Modgling.

Freddie M. Cothran

Funeral services for Freddie M. Cothran, 83, of Williston, SC will be held three p.m., Wednesday, November 3, 2010 at Pleasant Hill Baptist Church, Walhalla, SC with the Rev. Floyd Dukes officiating, with burial in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends Tuesday, from five to six p.m., at Folk Funeral Home, Williston and one hour prior to the service at the church on Wednesday. Memorial contributions may be sent to Williston Presbyterian Church, Organ Fund, P.O. Box 391, Williston, SC 29853. Mr. Cothran passed away Sunday at his home.

Born in Westminster, SC he was a son of the late Clarence G. Cothran and Zellia Suttles Cothran. He was a US Army veteran, his unit was first to arrive in Nagasaki after the bombing in Japan during WWII. Mr. Cothran worked at E.I. DuPont in construction in Aiken, Camden, Florence and Indianapolis, IN. He was a charter member of the Williston Jaycees, American Legion Post #75, Hope Masonic Lodge # 126, served on Barnwell County Airport Commission, was owner/operator of Williston Metal Works from 1969 to 2008 and was a member of Williston First Baptist Church.

Survivors include his wife of 60 years, Mary Hardy Cothran of the home; son, Bob Cothran of Williston; sisters, Betty C. Morrow of Seneca, SC and Rachel C. (Harold) King of Wrightsville Beach, NC and a number of nieces and nephews. He was predeceased in death by sisters, Mary Ann Pickens and Sally C. Honea; brothers, Frank C., Billy G., and C. G. Cothran.

Brenda Joyce Anderson

Funeral Services for Brenda Joyce Kennedy Anderson, 62, of Barnwell, will be held two p.m. Wednesday November 10, 2010 at the Folk Funeral Home Chapel, Williston, SC with the Rev. Bob Scroggs officiating. The family will receive friends on Tuesday from six until eight p.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be in the Barnwell County Memorial Cemetery by the airport. Ms. Anderson passed away Saturday November 6, 2010.

Born in Barnwell County, she was a daughter of the late Benjamin Levi Kennedy and Sara Briggs Kennedy. Ms. Anderson retired from the Barnwell School District #45 and was a member of the Barnwell First Baptist Church.

Survivors include daughters, Michelle A. (Dennis) Bolen of Williston, Samantha Joyce (Billy) Anderson of Barnwell; son, Charles Eric (Lynn) Anderson of Williston; grandchildren, Jamie Mason Bolen, Ryan Christopher Anderson and Austin Dennis Bolen; special friend, Edward Jeffcoat of Blackville; brother, Benjamin Kennedy of Barnwell; half-sister, Ruby Aubert of Williston. She was preceded in death by a sister, Lilly Ann Belle Richardson; half-brothers, Frank, Wade, Horace and Hamp Sweat.

Grover Monroe "Monty" Davis, Jr.

A memorial service for Grover Monroe “Monty” Davis, Jr., 53, will be held 7 PM, Monday, November 1, 2010 at Folk Funeral Home Chapel, Williston, SC. The family will receive friends after the memorial service at the funeral home. The family suggests memorials to your favorite charity. Monty passed away October 31, 2010.

Born in Abbeville, SC, he was a son of the late Grover M. Davis, Sr. and Daisy Mann Davis. He grew up in McCormick and North, SC. He received his masters degree in Forestry and Environmental Sciences from Duke and taught chemistry and physics at Williston Elko High School for 19 years. His passion in life was hunting and fishing.

Survivors include his wife, Elisabeth Davis of the home; sisters, Clara (Bill) Ford, Jennie (Horace) Amaker; stepchildren, Jamey (Angie) Brady, Nancy (Robbie) Wood, Emily (Wesley) Wiles; step-grandchildren, Michael and Taylor Brady, James Wood, Case and Carson Wiles; nephews and nieces; Allen (Jessi) ford, Adair (Brian) Boroughs, Michael (Alysia) Amaker, Suzanne (J.D.) Molinski, Daniel Amaker and Hunter Amaker; aunts, Jennie Belle Spurlock, Harriet King and Anne D. Seymour.

The family will receive friends from four to six p.m., Sunday, November 21st at Folk Funeral Home, Williston and one hour prior to the service in the church social hall. Memorial contributions may be made to the Springfield Cemetery Fund, P.O. Box 2 or Springfield First Baptist Church, P.O. Box 368, Springfield, SC 29146. Mrs. Mary entered into eternal rest on Friday, November 19, 2010.

Born in Springfield, SC, she was a daughter of the late Spurgeon and Ida Drucilla Livingston Steverson. She was a member of Springfield First Baptist Church and was a retired seamstress.

Survivors include, daughters, Dorothy Farris, Nancy (George) Hutto, Sarah (John) Davis, Mary Lynn (Charles) Browne; sons, Tommy (Ovila) Gleaton, David Gleaton, John (Patai) Gleaton, Wilton (Sarah) Gleaton, Joe (Charlotte) Gleaton; sister, Cerilla Addy; and three generations of grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas L. Gleaton; son, Gerald Gleaton; daughter, Mary Jane Milliken; sisters, Gloria Nichols, Lizzie Johnson; brothers, John, S.L., Woodrow and Everett Steverson.

William Love "Bill" Faircloth, Jr.

Funeral services for William Love “Bill” Faircloth, Jr., 73, of Swansea, will be held eleven a.m., Tuesday, November 23, 2010 at Corpus Christi Catholic Church in Lexington, SC. Burial will be in Montmorenci Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church on Tuesday. Folk Funeral Home, Williston is assisting the family. Bill passed away Tuesday, November 16, 2010.

Born in New Jersey, he was a son of William Love Faircloth, Sr. and the late Melissa J. McKeown Faircloth. Bill formerly worked for SCDOT and was a member of Corpus Christi Catholic Church, the Knights of Columbus and the Radio Club.

Survivors include his wife, Lynette “Lynn” Bodie Faircloth of the home; daughters, Judy Lynn (Rodney) McClure of Leesville, SC, Melissia Ann (Greg) Stark of Elgin, SC; Oletia Cathleen Faircloth of Columbia, SC; sister, Mary (Robert) Scheuttler; brother, Eddie Faircloth; grandchildren, Jeffrey, Jennifer, Brandy, Danny Zachary, Jason, Matthew Cailyn & McKenzie; great-grandchildren, Davonta, Damon, Neo & Marina; several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by a daughter, Lisa Lynell Ingram and a brother, Thomas A. Faircloth.

Emaleen Corley Kneece Orrock

Graveside Funeral Services for Emaleen Corley Kneece Orrock, 77, of Lexington will be held three p.m. Friday, November 12, 2010 at The Blackville Cemetery, Blackville, SC. The family will receive friends from five to seven p.m. on Thursday at Folk Funeral Home, Williston, SC. Memorial contributions may be sent to Blackville Cemetery Fund, P.O. Box 365, Blackville, SC 29817. Mrs. Emaleen passed away Sunday, November 7, 2010.

Born in Lexington, SC she was a daughter of the late Hugh Reeder and Mazie Roberts Corley. She was first married to the late Dr. James Frank Kneece and was the widow of John Henry Orrock. She was a graduate of Columbia College with a Bachelor’s degree in Art and Music, was a graduate of the University of SC with a Master’s Degree in Music and a Doctorate in Pharmacy. She formerly taught public school in Barnwell, SC and was a pharmacist having worked for a number of pharmacies including Epps Pharmacy and Winn Army Hospital at Fort Stewart, GA.

Survivors include sons, Steve C. Kneece of Newberry, SC, Daniel R. Kneece of Los Angeles, CA and Drs. Robert H. (Shilpa Srinivasan) Kneece of Columbia, SC; grandson, Vikram James Kneece.

Patricia Morris Dicks

Services for Patricia “Pat” Morris Dicks, 68, of Windsor, SC will be held eleven am Monday, September 5, 2011 in the Folk Funeral home Chapel, Williston with the Reverend Dan Fogle officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Pat passed away Saturday, September 3, 2011.

Born in Charleston, SC she was a daughter of the late Buist and Myrtle Haskell Morris. She was a homemaker, a member of Hillcrest Baptist Church and attended Rosemary Baptist Church.

Survivors include her husband, Beau Dicks of the home; daughters, Joanne (Dwayne) Cagle and Cotton (Mike) Jeffers all of Williston; son, Tim (Sheila) Dicks of Windsor; grandchildren, Nicole Clamp, Justin Cagle, Chris Owens, Lacey Evans, Michael Allen Jeffers, Amy Jeffers, TJ Dicks, Nick Dicks, Rachael Dicks; five great grandchildren; sisters, Gloria Frazier and Joy Robison both of Jackson; brothers, James Morris of Elko and Wayne Morris of Hephzibah, Ga.; mother-in-law, Madge Dicks and a number of nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by a daughter, Sheila Dicks Evans Bolen and a grandson, Dustin Gene Evans.
