Harvey Tate Cheeseboro

Harvey "Tate" Cheeseboro, 85, of 930 Maced Circle, formerly Nance Circle, died Tuesday, October 16, 2007, at the Regional Medical Center in Orangeburg.

Funeral services will be announced by Al Jenkins Funeral Home of Orangeburg.

Friends may call at the residence and at the funeral home.

Mrs. Willie Mae Irick Riley

Mrs. Willie Mae Irick Riley, 85, of 6044 W. Columbia Ave., Philadelphia, died Monday, October 15, 2007, in Philadelphia.

Funeral arrangements will be announced by Al Jenkins Funeral Home of Orangeburg.

Friends may call at the residence of her sister, Mrs. Alvilder Irick (Emerson) Burgess, 2120 New Wilkinson Ave., Orangeburg.

Louis Stokes

Louis Stokes, 72, of 113 Mozel Lane, Bowman, died Wednesday evening at his residence following an extended illness.

Funeral plans will be announced by Bethea's Funeral Home.

Zelma Elizabeth Wolfe

Zelma Elizabeth Wolfe, 97, of 251 Bridge St., Branchville, died Tuesday, October 23, 2007, at her residence in Branchville.

Funeral services will be announced by Thompson Funeral Home Inc. of Orangeburg.

Friends may call at her residence, 251 Bridge Street, Branchville, and at the funeral home.

Patricia R. Porter Hutto

Patricia Reynolds Porter "Pat" Hutto, 71, of Orangeburg, died Wednesday, October 24, 2007, at Heartland in Lexington.

The funeral will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, October 27, at St. Paul's United Methodist Church. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery.

Mrs. Hutto was born in Greenwood, a daughter of the late William E. Porter and Bessie Reynolds Porter. She was co-owner of Dukes-Harley Funeral Home and corporate secretary and funeral director. She attended Lander College. Mrs. Hutto was a member of St. Paul's United Methodist Church and a former choir member.

Survivors include her husband, A.J. Hutto Jr. of the home; three sons, A.J. "Jay" Hutto of Lexington, Mark W. Hutto and R. Todd Hutto, both of Orangeburg; two sisters, Mrs. Helen P. Putman and Mrs. Edna P. Tarrant, both of Greenwood; six grandchildren, Jamie Hutto of Los Angeles, Leslie Hutto of Charleston, Matthew Hutto of Clemson, Vivienne Hutto, Will Hutto and McGill Hutto, all of Orangeburg.

The family will receive friends Friday from 6 to 8 p.m. at Dukes-Harley Funeral Home. At other times, friends may call at the residence, 1560 Lee Blvd., Orangeburg.

Memorials may be made to St. Paul's United Methodist Church, 1356 Amelia St., Orangeburg, SC 29115.

Deacon David Shannon

Deacon David Shannon, 71, of 20 Roundleaf Trail, St. Matthews, died Saturday, Sept. 15, 2007, at the Regional Medical Center after an extended illness.

Funeral services will be announced by Glover's Funeral Home of Orangeburg.

Friends may call at the residence and Glover's Funeral Home.

Jacob Allen Shipes

Mr. Jacob Allen Shipes, 83, died on Wednesday, September 19, 2007.

Funeral services will be held 3 p.m., Friday, September 21, at Double Pond Baptist Church, Blackville with burial in the church cemetery. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Folk Funeral Home in Williston.

Memorial contributions may be made to Double Pond Baptist Church Building Fund, 357 Double Pond Road, Blackville, SC 29817.

Anthony Charles Kimpson

Anthony Charles Kimpson, 42, of 41 Franklin Ave., Long Island, N.Y., died Wednesday, October 24, 2007, at his residence.

Funeral services will be held at 12 p.m., November 3, in the North Orangeburg United Methodist Church, with the Rev. Eddie C. Williams officiating. Burial will be in North Orangeburg United Methodist Church (Jamison Site) Cemetery.

Mr. Kimpson was born October 6, 1965, a son of Lennette K. Terrell and the late James Harold Kimpson. He was educated in the public schools of New York City. During his school years he was active in the Boy Scouts and the Cadets. He played drums in Junior High School and basketball in high school. Anthony participated regularly with the neighborhood's bowling team. He was employed with Trans Care, Long Island, N.Y., New York City Sanitation Department, Security person and part-time Limousine driver.

Survivors include two sons, Anthony Charles Kimpson Jr. of Ahoskie, N.C., Damond Kyrell Waiters of Long Island, N.Y.; mother, Mrs. Lennette K. Terrell, step-father, Thomas Terrell, both of St. Matthews; one sister; Ms. Venee Kimpson of Manhattan, N.Y.; godbrother, Joseph Earl Zeigler of Dallas; godparents (uncle and aunt) Mr. and Mrs. Willie (Eula) Kimpson of Orangeburg; grandmother, Mrs. Willie Dean Kimpson of St. Matthews; one grandaunt, Mrs. Viola Robinson of Orangeburg; two aunts, Ms. Maxine Zeigler of Bronx, N.Y. and Ms. Sallie Kimpson of St. Matthews; four uncles, Calvin (Margaret) Attaway, James (Rose), Bristow all of Bronx; Ernest (Alma) Bristow of Orangeburg.

Visitation will be held from 9 a.m. until 8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.

Friends may call at the residence of his mother, Mrs. Lennette (Thomas) Kimpson Terrell, 119 Waterview Road, St. Matthews and the Bythewood Funeral Home of Orangeburg.

Joseph Joe Jordan

Joseph Daniel Jordan, 88, of Irmo, passed away Wednesday, October 31, 2007, at Lowman Home.

A celebration of life service will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, November 3, at Catawba Funerals & Cremations in Hickory, N.C., with Pastor Jeff Clark officiating. Burial will follow in the Catawba Memorial Park.

Born January 3, 1919, in Franklin County, N.C., he was the son of the late Robert M. and Verter Rutledge Jordan.

Catawba Memorial Park, Funerals & Cremations are assisting the Jordan Family.

Victoria Smith

Victoria Smith, 18, of 222 Franklin Street, Ehrhardt, died Sunday, November 4, 2007, in Early Branch as a result of an auto accident.

Funeral services will be announced by the Carroll Mortuary of Bamberg.

Friends may call at the home of Vera Lynn, 222 Franklin Street, Ehrhardt.
