BRISTOL - Funeral services for Jackie M. Collins, of Seagoville, were held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 10, 2007 in the Green Funeral Home chapel with Chaplain Dennis burris officiating.
Born Oct. 9, 1949, the son of Audrey E. and Essie L. Collins, he passed away on Sunday, Oct. 7, 2007 at his home in Seagoville after a long battle of coronary disease.
Preceded in death by both parents Audrey E. and Essie L. Collins; brothers Jimmy and Arthur and sisters Earline, Jeanette and Marcia; he is survived by his loving wife Jackie Lynn Winkles Collins; son Jamie Jack Collins; sisters Shirley Mott and husband John, Debra Collins and Carla Collins and his aunt Betty Ann Taylor.
Interment followed in the Bristol cemetery under the directions of Green Funeral Home in Ferris.

Sue Ann “Mimi” Brennand
April 22, 1934 – Sept. 30, 2007

DALLAS – Funeral services for Sue Ann “Mimi” Brennand were held at 2 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 4, 2007 at St. Mark’s on the Mesa Episcopal Church in Albuquerque, N.M.
Born April 22, 1934 in Dallas, the daughter of Loubert and Fay Moyers, she passed away Sunday, Sept. 30, 2007 after a battle with breast cancer.
Preceded in death by her parents; she is survived by her husband Paul; children Amy Martinez and her husband Vince of Albuquerque and Kevin Green and his wife Cynthia of Dallas; step-children Aimee Gagnon and her husband Rob of Littleton, Colo., Jill Hurne and her husband Ryan of Phoenix, Ariz. and Molly Brennand of Santa Fe, N.M.; grandchildren William, Megan, Ashley, Natalie all of Albuquerque, Ben, Jenna and Caroline of Dallas; step-grandchildren Hannah, Charlotte, Grace and Davis of Phoenix, Ariz.; and brother Reese Moyers and his wife Julie of Fort Worth.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Susan B. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation, P.O. Box 92110, Albuquerque, NM 87199-2110.
Interment followed in the Sunset Memorial Park in Albuquerque, N.M. under the direction of French Mortuary, Inc.

Jimmy Walter Gannon
Aug. 9, 1970 - Oct. 14, 2007

FERRIS - Funeral services for Jimmy Walter Gannon Jr., 37 of Ferris, were held at 10 a.m. Monday, Oct. 22, 2007 in Green Funeral Home.
Born Aug. 9, 1970 in Dallas, the son of Jimmy and Freda Gannon, he passed away Sunday, Oct. 14, 2007 in Dallas.
He was self-employed as a floor installer. He was a Baptist.
He is survived by his father Jimmy and step-mother Angela Gannon of Irving; mother Freda Gannon of Ferris; sisters Dawn Tucker wife of Jackie Tucker and Dana Waters wife of Josh Waters; brother Keith Gannon husband of Stacey Gannon of Ferris; daughter Samantha Gannon of Rowlett; sons Jimmy Walter Gannon III of Rowlett, Brandon Scott Hall and Jeremy Adam Gannon of Ferris.
Interment followed in the Grove Hill Memorial Park in Dallas under the direction of Green Funeral Home in Ferris.

Charla Evon Trull
Sept. 3, 1962 - Oct. 15, 2007

PALMER - Funeral services for Charla Evon Trull, 45 of Palmer, were held at 2 p.m. Friday, Oct. 19, 2007 in Trinity cemetery in Wilmer.
Born Sept. 3, 1962 in Coleman, the daughter of the late Kyle Larmar Brammer and Emma Lou (Thate), she passed away Monday, Oct. 15, 2007 in Seagoville
She worked as a Assistant Administrator. She also enjoyed riding horses, camping, boating, and dancing.
She is survived by daughters Agina Graham of Knoxville, Tenn. and Amanda Trull of Fairfield; sisters Lorrie Tramel of Seagoville and Sindy Frazier of Scurry; and granddaughter Kaytlynn Ploch.
Arrangements were under the direction of Green Funeral Home in Ferris.

Pilar Cadena
March 4, 1942 - Nov. 18, 2007

FERRIS - Funeral mass services for Pilar Cadena, 65, of Arlington, are to be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 24, 2007 in the Corpus Christi Catholic Church in Ferris.
Born March 4, 1942 in Dallas, the daughter of the late Luis and Manuela (Garza) Cadena, she went to be with Lord Sunday, Nov. 18, 2007 peacefully.
Preceded in death by her parents; husband Rual Cadena; four sisters and four brothers; she is survived by: daughters Olga Cadena of Arlington, Delma Vaquez of Arlington, Aminta Garza of Arlington, Marivel Cadena of Mathis, Yolanda Cadena of Arlington and Maricela Cadena of Arlington; sons Raul Cadena of Denver, Colo. and Luis Cadena of Arlington; 32 grandchildren; and 28 great-grandchildren.
Interment followed in the Ferris Memorial Park North under the direction of Green Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.

Clyde J. Chronic
April 10, 1946 – Nov. 10, 2007

PALMER - Memorial services for Clyde J. Chronic, 61, were held Saturday, Nov. 17, 2007 at the Palmer Assembly of God Church in Palmer.
Born April 10, 1946, the son of Thelma Intha Chronic, he passed away Saturday, Nov. 10, 2007.
He was married to Rosemary Krob on July 25, 1969 and was retired from a career of welding and tank construction.
He is survived by is wife Rosemary Chronic of Palmer; daughter Tina and her husband Jim Chambers of Dallas; sons Buddy Dwayne Chronic and wife Cindy of Tawakoni, Michael Dean Chronic of Palmer, James Robert Chronic and Shannon of Fort Worth, Jeffery Wayne and Roxi Yeley of Palmer and David Lee and Candy Yeley of Tawakoni; sisters Charollet, Linda and Wanda; grandchildren Veron, Rose, Josh, Tabitha, Jessie, Cierra, Kristian, Dalton, Lee Wayne, E.C., Krystal, Tiffany, Willie and Mercedes; and great-grandchild Lee Wayne Yeley.

Beverly K. Julin
June 24, 1943 – Nov. 13, 2007

RICE - Funeral services for Beveryly K. Julin, 64, were held Thursday, Nov. 15 at 11 a.m. in Keever Chapel.
Born June 24, 1943 in East Moline, Ill., the daughter of William Scherschel and Elva McLaughlin, she passed away Tuesday, Nov. 13, 2007 in a Dallas hospital.
She married Jimmy D. Julin on May 3, 1985 and she was a member of the Bardwell Methodist Church and Easter Star #560.
Preceded in death by her husband Jimmy Julin and son LeRoy Plattner; she is survived by her daughter Alicia R. Hamm of Rice; two brothers Joe Scherschel of Hampton, Ill. and Wayne Scherschel of Helper, Utah; six grandchildren Jessica, Stephen and Renee Honza and Michael, Brandon and Cameron Plattner.

Joe Howard Hathcock
Nov. 24, 1928 - Dec. 16, 2007

FERRIS - Funeral services for Joe Howard Hathcock, 79 of Ferris, were held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Dec. 19, 2007 in the Green Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Bobby Mashburn officiating.
Born Nov. 24, 1928 in Crisp, he passed away Sunday, Dec. 16, 2007.
He is survived by wife Juanita L. Hathcock of Ferris; two sons Howard K. Hathcock of Red Oak and Bobby Joe Hathcock of Mesquite; sister Peggy Murdock; brother Bill Hathcock; both of Ferris; four grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
Interment followed in the Bristol cemetery under the direction of Green Funeral Home in Ferris.

Vickie Lou Moore
Nov. 19, 1948 - Dec. 15, 2007

FERRIS - Funeral services for Vickie Lou Moore, 59 of Ferris, were held at 2 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 20, 2007 in the Pleasant Valley Church in Bentley, Kan.
Born Nov. 19, 1948 in Ponca City, Okla., the daughter of Earl J. and Betty (Sinclair) Smith, she passed away Saturday, Dec. 15, 2007 suddenly in Arlington.
She is survived by husband Gaylen Moore of Ferris; sons Travis Moore of Crawfordsville, Ind., Shane Moore of Newbern, Tenn. and Tracy Moore of Ferris; sister Debbie Millspaugh; brother Jerry Smith; and three grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to American Heart Association, 800 Ferris Avenue, Waxahachie, TX 75165.
Funeral arrangements were under the direction of Green Funeral Home in Ferris.

Ruth A. Martin

Born Nov. 13, 1928 in Roodhouse, Ill., the daughter of the late Willis and Eliza (Rutherford) Roper, she passed away Saturday, Jan. 19, 2008 at her residence.
Preceded in death by her parents; son Michael Lynn Martin and sister Sally Robinson; she is survived by her husband Harry L. Martin in Ferris; son Daniel Brent Martin in Ferris; brother Willis Roper of Glendale, Ariz.; three grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and four nieces Myra B. Roper, Patty Stahanke, Martha J. Roper and Jamie Butterworh.
Graveside services followed at 3 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 23, 2008 in the Baxter Memorial Gardens in Mountain Home, Ark.

FERRIS - Funeral services for Robert Washington Ritchey Jr., 76 of Ferris, were held at 1 p.m. Friday, Jan. 18, 2008 in the Point View Baptist Church with Pastor Mike Allcorn officiating.
Born Oct. 4, 1931 in Ennis, the son of the late Robert Washington Sr. and Sarah (Dobbs), he passed away Wednesday, Jan. 16, 2008 in Waxahachie.
He worked as a truck driver for Redball Motor Freight.
He is survived by his wife Joyce Ritchey of Ferris; daughter Pamela wife of Mike Bahr of Kaufman; sons Joe husband of Edith Ritchey of Ferris, Jimmy husband
of Theresa Ritchey of Ferris and Robert L. husband of Jennifer Ritchey of Ferris; sister Mildred Alexander of Brazoria, Tex., brothers David husband of Helen Ritchey of Ennis and Edward Lee husband of Mary Ritchey of Navasota, Tex.; grandchildren Joe Ritchey Jr. of Ferris, Jeremy Bahr of Kaufman, Chelsea Bahr of Kaufman, Nicole Cervantes of Ferris, Jimmie Gonzales of Ferris, Robert R. Ritchey of Ferris, Christian Ritchey of Ferris, Carlee Ritchey of Ferris and Lance Boone of Altooa, Pa.; and great-grandchildren Reyanna Cervantes, Sirina Cervantes, Sergio Gonzales Jr. and Alex Gonzales all of Ferris.
Interment followed in the Ferris Memorial Park North under the direction of Green Funeral Home in Ferris.
