Joe was born Aug. 13, 1931 to Juan and Francisca Guerrero in Victoria, and passed away Friday, May 8, 2009, surrounded by his family and loved ones.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Juan and Francisca Guerrero; brothers, Espidio Guerrero and Alejandro Enriquez; and sister, Tomasita Cano.
Joe was a loving husband, father, grandfather and friend who will be greatly missed.
He leaves behind to cherish his memory, his wife, Rosie Guerrero; sons: Jose Angel, Joseph, James and Ricky; daughters: Angie, Sophia, Ofelia, Betty, Irma, Kathy, Patricia and Carolyn; brothers, Johnny Guerrero and wife, Lydia, and Felix Guerrero and wife, Lilly; sister, Vitalia Claussen; numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and other family members and friends.

Mary Rosalie “Rosie” Erickson, 73, of Avinger, went to be with our Lord Monday, May 18, 2009. A memorial service to celebrate her life is 3:30 p.m. Saturday, May 23, at St. John’s United Methodist Church, 400 Jackson St. in Richmond.
Rosie was born Feb. 29, 1936, to Hilda and John McClelland in Johnstown, Pa. She was dearly loved and will be missed by her family and all whose lives she touched.
She was preceded in death by her parents; sister, Jackie, brothers, Jimmy and Danny; and husband, Joseph Robert Erickson II.
Rosie is survived by her soul-mate and companion of twenty-five years, Raymond L. Jackson and family; sons, Joseph Robert Erickson III and wife, Tanya, of Rosenberg, and Steven Scott Erickson and wife, Michelle, of Kerrville; daughters, Lisa Erickson Lowry and husband, Walker, of Richmond, and Laurie Erickson Johnson and husband, Charles, of Richmond; grandchildren: Joseph and Rachel Erickson, Travis and Makenna Erickson, William, Alan and Christopher Lowry, and Jake and Kelsey Johnson; sister, Kathy McClelland and family; and aunt Rosemary Stager of Johnstown, Pa.

Apolonio was born Feb. 8, 1909, in La Lajita, Mexico, to Andres and Isabel Lemon.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Genoveba; and son, Robert Lemon Sr.
Apolonio is survived by one son, Joe and wife, Sharon; three daughters: Bertha Camhi and husband, Joel, Beatrice Mares, and Cecilia Palmarez and husband, Raymond; many grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren; and many other family members and friends.

George was born Feb. 8, 1953, in Las Cruces, N.M., to Pascual Valdes and Dolores Valdes. He passed away Sunday, May 17, 2009 in Sugar Land.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Margarita S. Valdes; father, Pascual Valdes; twin brother, Pascual Valdes Jr.; and brother, Louis Valdes.
George is survived by his children: George Valdes Jr., Margarita Medina and husband, Gabriel, and Vanessa Andrews and husband, Jason; mother, Dolores Valdes; brother, Albert Valdes and wife, Millicent; sisters: Mary Valdes, Martha Gillis and husband, Sterling, and Irene Valdes; grandchildren: Felix Medina, Gavin Medina and Evan Andrews; and other relatives and many friends.

Harvey H. Toews
Services to celebrate the life of Harvey H. Toews, 69, of Richmond, are 2 p.m. Tuesday, May 12, 2009, in the Chapel of Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Richmond, with Deacon Don Murrile officiating.

Harvey was born April 17, 1940, in Borger, Texas, to Walter and Ruby Harder Toews. He proudly earned his bachelor of mathematics from the University of Texas, and later went on to work as a geophysicist for Chevron. He retired from Chevron after 27 years. Harvey loved to read no matter what the genre, and was a great problem-solver. He enjoyed tennis and watching various films. He had a love of Western history, especially Lewis and Clark, plus he enjoyed visiting museums. Most importantly, he loved his family. He passed away Thursday, May 7, 2009 at his home in Richmond.
Harvey was preceded in death by his parents, Walter and Ruby Toews.
He is lovingly survived by his wife of 41 years, Merle Williams Toews; son, Michael Loren Toews and partner, Angie Geiter, of Austin; daughter, Tracy Toews Mouton and husband, Kenny, of Houston; brother, Wally Toews and wife, Jan, of Plano; sister, Anna Toews and husband, Robert Kieras, of Austin; and numerous nieces, nephews, other family and a multitude of friends.
