IRVIN K. MIDDLETON
FORT ASHBY, W.Va. - Irvin Kenneth Middleton, 54, of Fort Ashby, died Wednesday, Jan. 28, 1998, at Memorial Hospital.
Born April 13, 1943, in Frostburg, he was the son of the late Alex and Belva (Skidmore) Middleton.
Mr. Middleton was retired, having worked as a construction foreman for Local 616, Cumberland.
Survivors include his wife, Mary (Orndoff) Middleton; one daughter, Christi Leigh Vanderberg, Jacksonville, Fla.; three sons, Todd Alexander Middleton, Steven David Middleton, and David Lee Middleton, all of Fort Ashby; one brother, Dan Middleton, Fort Ashby; and three grandchildren, Kayla Sue Middleton, Katlyn Shae Middleton, and Zackery Hunter Vanderberg.
Friends will received at the Upchurch Funeral Home, Route 28, Fort Ashby on Friday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.
The funeral service will be held on Saturday at 11 a.m. in the funeral home with the Rev. Deborah Shreve officiating.
ANN T. MILLER
ROMNEY, W.Va. - Ann Tanquary Miller, 34, of Romney, died Wednesday, June 3, 1998, at her residence.
Born Jan. 14, 1963, in Winchester, Va., she was the daughter of Edward Washington Miller Jr., "Ned," and Peggy Lou T. Miller, of Romney.
Miss Miller was a faithful member of the Wednesday Morning Bible Study in Romney.
Surviving in addition to her parents are one sister, Margaret Inskeep Miller, Kalamazoo, Mich.; two aunts, Louisa M. Hardy, Romney, and Margaret M. "Peggy Mac" Gainer Newell, Delray; and one uncle, William H. March, Upper Marlboro, Md.
Friends will be received at the Shaffer Funeral Home, Romney, on Thursday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.
Services will be conducted at St. Stephen's Episcopal Church, Romney, on Friday at 11 a.m. with Father Don Raih officiating.

UPPER TRACT, W.Va. - John R. Miller, age 75, of Upper Tract, died Wednesday, Nov. 18, 1998, at Rockingham Memorial Hospital, Harrisonburg, Va. Born May 28, 1923, in Mozer, he was the son of the late Charles and Esta Susan (Riggleman) Miller. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Beulah M. (Harman) Miller, Feb. 15, 1988. He was also preceded in death by one brother, Roy Miller; and one sister, Hazel Vandevander. Mr. Miller owned Miller's Poultry and Trucking for several years, and at the time of his death he owned and operated Best Auto Sales Inc. in Petersburg. He was a member of Mount Horeb United Methodist Church at Kline. He was past master of Pendleton Lodge No. 144, and was a 32nd Degree Mason. He was a member of Valley Shrine Club, Harrisonburg. He was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star, Franklin Chapter No. 138. Surviving are his wife, Mary V. (Crites) Hawk Miller; one son, John Steve Miller and wife, Darlene, Upper Tract; one step-son, William Tracy Hawk, Scherr; two daughters, Myra Huffman and husband, Gerald, Petersburg, Crystal A. Alt, Petersburg; two step-daughters, Tamera Gossard and husband, Scott, Petersburg, Teresa Redman and husband, Tim, Scherr; three grandsons, Chad S. Miller, Upper Tract, John L. Huffman, Richmond, Va., Todd W. Huffman, Petersburg; four step-grandchildren, Dena Gossard, Arron Gossard, Joshua Sturgil and Tyler Redman. One sister, Pauline McCoy of New Creek; and several nieces and nephews also survive. Friends will be received at the Schaeffer Funeral Home, Petersburg, on Friday from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Services will be conducted at the Mount Horeb United Methodist Church on Saturday at 1 p.m. with the Rev. Gary Phillips and the Rev. Greg Rotruck officiating. Interment will be in the Kline cemetery at Kline. Pendleton Lodge No. 144 will conduct graveside services. LOUISE M. MILLER
KEYSER, W.Va. - Louise Marie Miller, 73, of 363 Richmond St., Keyser, died Tuesday, July 14, 1998, at Sacred Heart Hospital, Cumberland, Md.
Born on April 23, 1925, at Keyser, she was a daughter of the late George W. and Martha (Grapes) Houdersheldt. She also was preceded in death by her husband, Loren F. Miller, on Oct. 27,1989; one son, Isaac Miller; and one grandson, Joshua Miller.
Mrs. Miller was a homemaker and formerly attended the Assembly of God Church.
Surviving are three sons, Donald L.F. Miller, and wife, June, Antioch, Stevenson D. Miller, and wife, Barbara, and Loren F. Miller Jr., both of Keyser; six daughters, Lorna Stottlemyer, and husband, Vernon, Rawlings, Md., Sandra Johnson, and husband, John, Ruth Miller, and fiance, Don Lewis, Brenda Loya, and husband, George, Bonnie Roy, Diana Miller, and fiance, Tony Baker, all of Keyser; one brother, George Houdersheldt, Keyser; one sister, Mary Blizzard, Winter Haven, Fla.; 19 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Friends will be received at the Rotruck-Smith Funeral Home, Keyser, on Wednesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.
Funeral services will be conducted in the funeral home chapel on Thursday at 11 a.m. with the Rev. Herman L. Baliles and the Rev. Delores Stottlemyer officiating.
Interment will be in the Potomac Memorial Gardens, Keyser.
PATRICIA A. MILLER
AUGUSTA, W.Va. - Patricia Ann Miller, 56, of Augusta, died Friday, July 24, 1998, in Memorial Hospital, Cumberland, Md.
She was born on May 19, 1942, in Morgantown, the daughter of the late Mildred Sandy. Also preceding her in death was her husband, Arnold Miller.
Mrs. Miller was a homemaker.
She is survived by three daughters, Debbie Wilson, Morgantown, Robin Rios, Poncie, Puerto Rico, Cindy Lease, Cumberland; three sons, Robert Mayhew, Youngstown, Ohio, Alonzo Lipscomb, Augusta, William Mayhew, Morgantown; special friend, Jerry McKee, Augusta; and eight grandchildren.
Friends will be received at the McKee Funeral Home, Augusta, on Sunday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.
Services will be conducted in the funeral home chapel on Monday, July 27, 1998, at 11 a.m. with Pastor Glenn Nissly officiating.
DELBERT E. MILLS
KEYSER, W.Va. - Delbert Elwood Mills, 83, a resident of Brooke Grove Rehabilitation and Nursing Center, Sandy Springs, Md., formerly of Keyser, died Thursday, May 7, 1998, at the nursing center.
Born Dec. 9, 1914, at Keyser, he was a son of the late James Meese and Grace (Rotruck) Mills. He also was preceded in death by his wife, Genevieve (Shoemaker) Mills, on May 13, 1982; and one brother, Dwayne Mills, in 1986.
Mr. Mills retired on Feb. 1, 1970, as Sergeant First Class, U.S. Army. He was a veteran of World War II and the Korean Conflict. He received the Bronze Star for his service in Korea. In 1970, he returned to Keyser where he was employed as a driver for B&B; Concrete. He attended the Keyser Church of the Brethren and was a member of the Nancy Hanks Post 3518 VFW, Keyser.
Surviving are four daughters, Charlotte Wilmoth, Roanoke, Va., Janice Jean Graham, Derwood, Md., Delberta Daveler, Buenos Aires, Argentina, and Carol Mills, Alexandria, Va.; seven grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
Friends will be received at the Rotruck-Smith Funeral Home, Keyser, on Saturday from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Graveside services will be conducted Saturday at 2 p.m. at the Potomac Memorial Gardens, Keyser, with Pastor Joyce E. Petry officiating.
HOMER MAXWELL "MAX" MONGOLD SR.
MAYSVILLE, W.Va. - Homer Maxwell "Max" Mongold Sr., age 71, of Maysville, died Monday, Oct. 19, 1998, at his home.
Born Nov. 7, 1926, in Preston County, he was the son of the late John H. and Nina W. (Feaster) Mongold. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a son, Homer Maxwell Mongold Jr. on Dec. 31, 1993; three brothers, Samuel Mongold, William Mongold and John Mongold; two sisters, Hazel Mongold and Imogene Buckley.
Mr. Mongold was retired from the Department of Natural Resources with 41« years of service. He was a veteran and served in the United States Army during World War II. He is a member of American Legion Post #78.
Surviving are his wife of 51 years, Pauline M. (Sites) Mongold, whom he married
on July 29, 1947; two sons, Ronnie W. Mongold, Fort Ashby, Larry S. Mongold, Romney; one daughter, Sandra L. Mongold, Franklin; one brother, Earl W. "Bub" Mongold, Broadway, Va.; two sisters, Ruby Getz, Fort Ashby, Mildred Riggleman, Cabins; half-sister, Mary Ann Hileman, Cabins; six grandchildren, Scottie S. Mongold and Jeremy A. Mongold, Maysville, Randy L. Mongold, Brandywine, Kevin W. Mongold, Jonathan L. Mongold and Miranda C. Mongold, Petersburg; three great-grandchildren, Kaylie B. Mongold, Tara H. Mongold and Dillon S. Mongold, all of Maysville; and several nieces and nephews.
Friends will be received at the Schaeffer Funeral Home Inc., Petersburg, on Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.
Services will be conducted at the funeral home on Wednesday at 1 p.m. with Pastor Ted Anderson officiating.
Burial will be in Maple Hill cemetery, Petersburg. Military graveside honors will be accorded by Potomac Highlands V.F.W. Post #6454 and American Legion Post #78, both of Petersburg.

HAZEL W. MOORE
KEYSER, W.Va. - Hazel Wingard Moore, 81, of 1300 Beacon Street, Keyser, died on Thursday, Feb. 12, 1998, at Memorial Hospital, Cumberland, Md., after a short illness.
Born May 19, 1916, in Johnstown, Pa., she was the daughter of the late William and Trella (Lehman) Wingard. She also was preceded in death by her husband, Paul E. Moore, on April 16, 1978; and a brother, Robert D. Wingard.
Mrs. Moore was co-owner of Moore's Polly Kleen, Keyser Auto Mart; and she was a Mary Kay Cosmetic Consultant and a Notary Public.
She was a member of the Calvary United Methodist Church, Keyser, and the Alkire Chapter #10 Order of the Eastern Star.
Surviving are two daughters, Beverly M. Kitzmiller and husband, Jack, Goshen, Ind., and Darlene S. Harman and husband, William, Keyser; four granddaughters, Gina Hines, Misti Kiser, Keli Miller and Krista Gouker; four great-grandchildren, Autumn Kiser, Justin McKenzie, Myriah Hines and Jenaya Hines; two brothers, Melvyn Wingard and wife, Lois, and Edwin Wingard, all of Johnstown.
Friends will be received at the Markwood McKenzie Funeral Home, Keyser, on Saturday from 2 to 8 p.m. Services will be conducted at the funeral home on Sunday, Feb. 15, 1998, at 2 p.m. with the Rev. Linda McCauliff, a niece of Mrs. Moore, officiating.
Interment will be in the Potomac Memorial Gardens, Keyser.
