HEDGESVILLE, W.Va. - Virginia Burns Lott, 88, of Hedgesville, died Sunday, Jan. 30, 2000, at The Heartland of Martinsburg Nursing Home.
Born Jan. 6, 1912, in Charles Town, W.Va., she was the daughter of the late Marshall and Lena Porter Burns.
She retired from City Hospital, Martinsburg, as a registered nurse after 15 years.
She attended Independent Bible Church.
She is survived by her husband, Randolph B. Lott; three sons, John Thomas Reynolds of Dale City, Va., Robert G. Reynolds of St. Paul, N.C., and Joe Brown of Cummings, Ga.; five grandchildren; nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by two brothers, Robert Burns and John Porter Burns Sr.; five sisters, Elizabeth Burns, Agnes Burns, Anna Lee Burns, Martha Mason and Rebecca Vacher; and two grandchildren.
Services will be Thursday at 11 a.m. at Independent Bible Church. The Revs. Mark Johnson and Curt Lowry will officiate. Burial will be in Rosedale cemetery.
The family will receive friends Wednesday from 3 to 7 p.m. at Rosedale Funeral Chapel.
Elizabeth L. Knight
PORT SAINT LUCIE, Fla. Elizabeth Lee Knight, 70, of 3598 SW Conibear St., and formerly of Sharpsburg, died Saturday, Jan. 29, 2000, at her home.
Born Sept. 22, 1929, in Duffields, W.Va., she was the daughter of the late Clem Leo and Bessie Griffith Wilson.
She was a homemaker.
She attended Church of God.
She is survived by her husband, Hill Knight; two daughters, Nancy Knight of Sharpsburg and Patricia Eash of Nashville, Tenn.; a son, Buck Knight of Sharpsburg; a sister, Phyllis Yeager of Brunswick, Md.; three brothers, Wesley Wilson of Berkeley Springs, W.Va., Delano Wilson of Keedysville, and Richard Wilson of Sharpsburg; 10 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held Saturday at 1 p.m. at Church of God, Samples Manor, Md.
Arrangements are by Haisley-Hobbs Funeral Home, Inc., Fort Pierce, Fla.
Marion A. Blue
LEETOWN, W.Va. - Marion A. Blue, 76, of Leetown, died Monday, Jan. 31, 2000, at his home.
Born April 12, 1923, in Leetown, he was the son of the late Henry Judson and Lydia Kyner Blue.
He retired as manager from Whitmore Lumber Co. in Charles Town, W.Va., after 40 years.
A veteran of World War II, he served in the U.S. Army in the 102nd Military Police.
He was a member of Leetown United Methodist Church.
He was a member of Knights Pythias Lodge 131 and American Legion Post 71 in Charles Town.
He is survived by his wife of 54 years, Dorothy Perks Blue; two daughters, Kathy Dilley of Martinsburg, and Tracey Dilley of Leetown; one sister, Mary Poland of Martinsburg; and two grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by two sisters, Margaret Gardner and Ruth Locke; and three brothers, Victor Blue, Charles Blue and Robert Blue.
Services will be Wednesday at 1:30 p.m. at Leetown United Methodist Church. The Revs. Paul J. Ritter and Dennis E. Jackman will officiate. Burial will be in Pleasant View Memory Gardens.
The family will receive friends at Jefferson Chapel Funeral Home in Ranson, W.Va., today from 7 to 9 p.m.

MARTINSBURG, W.Va. - Ann Patricia Rind Ferrell, 70, of Martinsburg, died Friday, Jan. 28, 2000, at Outlook Pointe.
Born May 15, 1929, in Berkeley County, W.Va., she was the daughter of the late Paul Norwood and Ethel Virginia Marker Rind.
She was a graduate of City Hospital Nurses Training.
She retired from the Veterans Affairs Medical Center as a registered nurse.
She was a member of Winchester Avenue Christian Church.
She was a member of Democratic Women.
She is survived by a son, Col. Kirk A. Ferrell, U.S. Air Force, of Brussels, Belgium.

Rosa L. Myers
MARTINSBURG, W.Va. - Rosa Lee Myers, 57, of Martinsburg, died Sunday, Jan. 30, 2000, at City Hospital.
Born June 3, 1942, in Berkeley County, W.Va., she was the daughter of the late Gilbert and Bessie Ann Buzzard Faircloth.
She was employed by Handy Shopper in Marlowe, W.Va.
She was a member of House of the Lord.
She is survived by her husband, Luther L. Myers; two daughters, Kathy Ann Ferguson of Falling Waters, W.Va., and Lisa Lorraine DeHaven of Hedgesville, W.Va.; one son, Gilbert Vernon Myers of Martinsburg; four sisters, Ethel Bringamin of Clear Spring, Betty Myers of Falling Waters, Florence Bowers of Martinsburg, and Phyllis Godlove of Gerrardstown, W.Va.; one brother, Allen Faircloth of Hagerstown; four grandchildren; nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by one brother, Gilbert Faircloth.
Services will be Wednesday at 1 p.m. at Brown Funeral Home in Martinsburg. The Revs. Robert F. Caplinger Jr. and Andrew J. Snelson will officiate. Burial will be in Tomahawk cemetery.

Carolyn D. Yost
BERKELEY SPRINGS, W.Va. - Carolyn D. Yost, 78, of Berkeley Springs, died Monday, Jan. 31, 2000, at Winchester (Va.) Medical Center.
Born April 27, 1921, in Morgan County, W.Va., she was the daughter of the late Melvin R. and Maude Kerns Davison.
She was a member of First United Methodist Church in Berkeley Springs.
She was past president of Firemans Ladies Auxiliary in Berkeley Springs, and American Legion Auxiliary Post 60.
She is survived by one daughter, Patricia G. Socks of Greencastle, Pa.; three sons, Taylor K. Yost and James M. Yost, both of Berkeley Springs, and Richard A. Yost of Gerrardstown, W.Va.; four grandchildren; nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by two sisters, Betty McLaughlin and Katherine Householder; and one brother, Ralph Davison.
Services will be Wednesday at 11 a.m. at Hunter-Anderson Funeral Home, 106 S. Mercer St., Berkeley Springs. The Rev. Kelly Scott will officiate. Burial will be in Bethel cemetery.
A viewing will be held at the funeral home today from 3 to 5 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m.
