MARTINSBURG, W.Va. - Wyonia M. Wisowaty, 66 of Martinsburg, died Wednesday, May 5, 1999, at City Hospital.
Born April 23, 1933, in Martinsburg, she was the daughter of the late Frank and Mary Pauline Denison Emery.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Walter Wisowaty.
She is survived by three daughters, Mary Gregory, Juanita Hess and Marcella Jones, all of Martinsburg; one son, Robert Wisowaty of Martinsburg; one brother, James Emery of Baltimore; and 10 grandchildren.
Services will be held Friday at 1 p.m. at Brown Funeral Home, 327 W. King St., Martinsburg. Burial will be in Mountainside Tabernacle Cemetery.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home today from 7 to 9 p.m.
David F. Newman
RANSON, W.Va. - David Franklin Newman, 62, of Ranson, died Sunday, May 2, 1999, at Jefferson Memorial Hospital.
Born July 25, 1936, in Charles Town, W.Va., he was the son of the late Max and Sarah Elizabeth Bell Newman.
He was preceded in death by his wife of 21 years, Autrice Fox Newman.
He was retired from Powhattan Brass.
He served in the U.S. Army and Army Reserves as a sergeant with a total military service of 33 years.
He was a member of the House of Prayer.
He was president of Union AFLCIO Local 87.
He is survived by one stepdaughter, Janice Moon of Harrisburg, Pa.; one stepson, Raymond Hall of Harrisburg; four sisters, Laura Washington and Nellie R. Good, both of Luray, Va., Sarah Nabors and Janet Newman, both of Charles Town; one brother, John T. Newman of Ranson; and four stepgrandchildren.
He was preceded in death by one stepson, Nathaniel Hall; two sisters, Mazie Bland and Mary Newman; and four brothers, Buddy Newman, Harry Newman, Garfield Newman and James Newman.
Services will be Saturday at 11 a.m. at the House of Prayer in Charles Town. The Rev. Arthur Patterson will officiate. Burial will be in Pleasant View Memory Gardens, Martinsburg, W.Va.
The family will receive friends Friday from 7 to 9 p.m. at Jefferson Chapel Funeral Home, 114 N. Mildred St., Ranson.
Ray C. Miller
RANSON, W.Va. - Ray Cletus Miller, 76, of Ranson, died Monday, May 3, 1999, at Loudoun Long Term Health Care Center in Leesburg, Va.
Born Nov. 16, 1922, in Luray, Va., he was the son of the late Titus and Gracie Fox Miller.
He is survived by five children, Joyce Hardy of Harpers Ferry, W.Va., Carol Washington and Pamela Lanham, both of Charles Town, W.Va., Cliff Miller of Ranson, and Gary Miller of Alexandria, Va.; one sister, Isabelle Stoneberger of Luray, Va.; two brothers, LeRoy Miller and Hunter Miller, both of Luray; nine grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.
He retired from the Garnett Payne Farm in Jefferson County, W.Va.
He was of the Pentecostal faith.
Services will be held Thursday at 10 a.m. at Melvin T. Strider Colonial Funeral Home in Charles Town. The Rev. Lester Dillow will officiate. Burial will be in Morningstar Lutheran Church Cemetery in Luray.
Friends will be received at the funeral home today from 7 to 9 p.m.

INWOOD, W.Va. - S. Frances Fulk, 75, of Inwood, died Monday, May 3, 1999, at City Hospital in Martinsburg, W.Va., under the care of Hospice of the Panhandle.
Born Jan. 29, 1924, in Berkeley County, W.Va., she was the daughter of the late Howard and Mamie Masters Lamp.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Mervel Morrison Fulk Jr.
She was a 1941 graduate of Martinsburg High School and a graduate of Kings Daughters' School of Nursing.
She was retired from the Veterans Affairs Medical Center in Martinsburg, where she was a registered nurse.
She was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church and a member of the Order of Eastern Star, Golden Rule, Martinsburg Chapter 69.
She was a member of American Legion Auxiliary, Women of the Moose Chapter 738, NARFE and AARP.
She is survived by one daughter, Elizabeth Ann Fellers of Kearneysville, W.Va.; one brother, Robert Lamp of Martinsburg; three grandchildren; and one great-grandson.
She was preceded in death by one son, M. Morrison Fulk III; two sisters, Doris Ramey and Helen Virginia Pyne; and one brother, James Lamp.
Services will be held Thursday at 1:30 p.m. at Brown Funeral Home, 327 W. King St., Martinsburg. The Rev. G. Edward Grove will officiate. Burial will be in Pleasant View Memory Gardens.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home today from 7 to 9 p.m. An Order of Eastern Star memorial service will be conducted at 7:30 p.m.

MARTINSBURG, W.Va. - Dorothy W. "MaMaw" McDonald, 84, of Martinsburg, died Monday, May 3, 1999, at City Hospital.
Born Jan. 6, 1915, in Winchester, Va., she was the daughter of the late Dailey P. and Dunie Frances High Whitacre.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Arlington F. McDonald.
She was formerly employed as an inspector with Corning Glass.
She was a member of First Presbyterian Church in Martinsburg.
She is survived by one daughter, Marie Brown of Martinsburg; two sisters, Hilda Grove and Betty Young, both of Martinsburg; two brothers, Herman J. Whitacre of Conway, S.C., and Junior C. Whitacre of Bunker Hill, W.Va.; eight grandchildren, three of whom she raised, Vicki Loy-Wilcher of Martinsburg, Teri Barnhart of Hedgesville, W.Va., and Dennis Saylor of Aiken, S.C.; 11 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by one son, William Arlington McDonald; and one sister, Frances Proctor.

Lucien S. Tederick
MARTINSBURG, W.Va. - Lucien Siler Tederick, 82, of Martinsburg, died Monday, May 3, 1999, at the Veterans Affairs Medical Center in Martinsburg.
Born Aug. 5, 1916, in Berkeley County, W.Va., he was the son of the late Asa O. and Catherine N. Brantner Tederick.
He was a veteran of the U.S. Army, serving during World War II.
He is survived by two sisters, Dorothy Tederick of Martinsburg and Alice Haines of Baltimore; and one brother, J. Heyward Tederick of Wilmington, Del.
He was preceded in death by two sisters, Kathryn Schad and Mary Fultz; and two brothers, Paul Tederick and Thomas Tederick.
Graveside services will be held Thursday at 2:30 p.m. in Elmwood Cemetery, Shepherdstown, W.Va. The Rev. William C. Crowe will officiate.
